Narrowing the Voice Actors down is still playing by ear. She had a role in that episode, yes, but she could've been one of Nini's Pokémon instead. If you don't get a response from a voice actor, then you just have to wait longer. I know it sounds tedious but that's just policy. On the subject of Japanese VAs, if the Japanse VA is not in the dub credits (though I'm not sure if they get mentioned at all, but I assume they do because of Pikachu), then the voice got dubbed over.--[[User:Force Fire|<span style="color:#AB2813">'''F'''</span><span style="color:#C87365">orce</span>]][[User talk:Force Fire|<span style="color:#26649C">'''F'''</span><span style="color:#729ABF">ire</span>]] 04:29, 2 May 2015 (UTC) |

Welcome to Bulbapedia, Technickal! | |
By creating your account you are now able to edit pages, join discussions, and expand the community-driven Pokémon encyclopedia. Before you jump in, here are some ground rules:

Thank you, and have a good time editing here! |
Moves/splits
I didn't notice at first, but it appears you informally split Eyecatch to Location preview, and it seems you also used SatoMew2's Location preview and Eyecatch user pages in doing so. It also looks like you largely took Red's Charizard from User:Hikaru Wazana/Red's Charizard.
On the one hand, if such user pages exist, instead of creating a new article and just copying the page code into it, the existing user page should be moved. (Since Eyecatch already exists, in that case it's probably okay to just copy the user page code into the existing page and save it.) When you do not do this, at the very least, you have effectively "orphaned" those user pages from their intended purpose, without anyone necessarily being the wiser.
On the other hand, splits and moves and such are generally left to staff. They are also meant to be something of a community decision, unless the issue is very cut and dried. At the very least, if you intend to take such a decision into your own hands, you should probably leave a comment on the talk page as to your intention (and then perhaps wait for a day or two) before taking action.
Do note that I am not a staff member. But I would ask you to at least heed my advice on moving existing pages instead of copying them to a new location. Thanks. Tiddlywinks (talk) 16:51, 1 January 2015 (UTC)
You're right. That was a bad idea. I'll use your suggestions next time. Technickal (talk) 17:18, 1 January 2015 (UTC)
Eyecatch split
Hello there, I just noticed you splitted the eyecatch, and while I'm in favor of doing that (I seriously don't get how those two things are related), I believe moving pages are left to staff. This is because other users can only cut-paste the half that'll be split and create a new article (which you did for location preview), which means that all contributions from other users that were recorded in the history of the article are lost. I believe it's because of that, but I don't actually know if a staff member can fix that complex problem.
Well, in any case, while that's important, what I really wanted to say is that please be careful about the original article as well. As you can see in the Eyecatch history, I added new pictures and reorganized the whole anime section a week before you split the pages. However, you didn't catch up on that and deleted all those improvements while spliting the page. I edited the page again, but next time please check any new edits that you didn't copy from a page, before doing a massive change you've prepared beforehand. --Gabo 2oo (talk) 04:57, 3 January 2015 (UTC)
Thanks
Thank you finding Ash's Frogadier's VA.--JasonL 02:55, 5 March 2015 (UTC)JasonL (Talk)
Voice Actor source
Please provide a source when adding voice actors. Going by ear is not a reliable source as you could be entirely wrong. Also, do not go by credits as they do not say who voiced who, just that they had a role in the episode. The only way to get a source, currently, is to ask them on social media.--ForceFire 14:45, 19 April 2015 (UTC)
The Preview Button
Instead of editing a page several times in a row, try using the preview button to make sure your edit looks the way you want it to. It's right next to the Save Page button. Please try it out, so as not to clog up the Recent Changes. Also, if you want to edit multiple sections of the page, make sure that you click "edit this page" at the top of the page rather than editing it by section.
