Teddiursa/Ursaring and Phanpy/Donphan in Japanese Gold and Silver

Contrary to what you seem to think, these two families were indeed reversed in the translation of Gold and Silver to English, as far as availability between Gold and Silver is concerned. It is one of the major changes from the Japanese versions, often brought up along with the fact that several sprites were modified, including but not limited to that of Jynx.

As proof, refer to Teddiursa and Phanpy's location pages on the Japanese Pokepale web site. Notice that the Japanese word for Gold, 金, is completely absent from Teddiursa's page; the Japanese word for Silver, 銀, appears but one time on Phanpy's page to indicate a special download promotion for all three versions. This means that unlike in the non-Japanese versions, it is the Teddiursa family that is missing from Gold, whereas the Phanpy family is excluded from Silver.

In the future, please do not assume that someone is wrong based on your "intuition" alone. Either conduct minimal research on the subject at hand to determine the answer, or contact the person who inserted the questionable piece of data and bring your doubts to his or her attention. Why won't my Wi-Fi connection work for Pearl? It works on the DS Browser. Whenever I try to connect, I get the error message:

Wanted articles

I have started a new "hobby" of creating some of Bulbapedia's Wanted pages. In the last 10 minutes I have reated stubs for the articles, Keiji Kinebuchi and Wobbuffet Village. ...it's easy. Anything in the template namespace (those pages that start with "Template:") can be added to any page by way of curly brackets with the base name of the page (without the "Template:" part). Template:User Mudkip gets added with {{User Mudkip}}.

And anything not in the template namespace can be added by putting a colon before the title. You could add my Seaking template to your page using {{:User:TTEchidna/Seaking}}. TTEchidna 05:10, 7 November 2007 (UTC)

Believe me, if you had to deal with as many people who ignore common conventions such as this, you'd be the same way. Of course, I could be worse. I could highlight every grammar error in your comment. Thing is, I don't care if it's a typo. I don't care if you're too lazy to care about proper capitalization, use of homophones, and the like. I could let Bulbapedia look unprofessional, or I could yell at those that would. It's a manner of style, and even if I have to drill into everyone's head that ITS AND IT'S ARE NOT INTERCHANGEABLE, I will.

Hmmm... Well, realize, I know next to nothing on the TFG. More often than not, though, things are the same across at the very least the English-speaking countries. The TCG had the same artwork for the Base Set packs in Germany. And I figured that those may have been different things, like the decks and packs. Oh well. Everything'll be set right eventually. Pictures

I'm really trying to do Project TCGDex a favor here by uploading all the needed images, but quite a few of them are fairly hard to come by. Just to put something in there, I've obtained a number of tiny pictures and HUGE pictures and created this template to compensate.
