No.

Don't add pointless articles. It's a waste of everyones time and "Mudkip Letter" doesn't contribute anything to the Wiki, or too the information about Pokémon. ~~Takoto - サソデイ 12:59, 26 July 2009 (UTC)

While it clearly shows talent, this ain't the place for it. If you really want to keep it for whatever reason, maybe re-create it under User:SpecialK/Mudkip Letters. And I'm serious, by the way, you gotta be seriously talented. That Mudkip art of yours is cool. Missingno. Master wants YOU! Join the Order of the Glitch! (my talk page) 13:26, 26 July 2009 (UTC)
Missingno, you do realize he didn't make that? That's been used on forums and other places where you can post comments since the start of the Mudkip craze. It'd extremely unlikely he is the original creator. ~~Takoto - サソデイ 13:29, 26 July 2009 (UTC)

TAKOTO IS RIGHT I DIDNT MAKE IT. i don't know how to cite sources so i didnt. soz for annoying you. Can U Delete the article coz i don't knw how, i'm new. SpecialK

By the way, my faverate pokemon is mudkip, whats yours? SpecialK

You can't delete, only administrator can. I'm one, so I deleted it. Please go over the rules in the welcome template above so you'll know the dos and don'ts of Bulbapedia. For example, signing your comments by entering ~~~~ is a must. Also, leave personal conversations to the forums, please. These talk pages are for Bulbapedia-related discussions only. Thank you. --electAbuzzzz 13:42, 26 July 2009 (UTC)
Oh, OK. Didn't realize that. It's still very good. And my favorite Pokémon, as my name implies, is Missingno.. Missingno. Master wants YOU! Join the Order of the Glitch! (my talk page) 13:43, 26 July 2009 (UTC)

how do you join the order of the glitch SpecialK 14:20, 26 July 2009 (UTC)

Talk Page Comments

Removing talk page comments, including the initial welcome template, is prohibited per Bulbapedia's talk page policy. Please do not remove any comments in the future. If you wish to clean old comments away, you should archive your talk page instead. Thank you! --Turtwig A (talk | contribs) 18:24, 21 November 2009 (UTC)

How do you archive?SpecialK 18:35, 21 November 2009 (UTC)

You use the move tab next to the history tab. Turtwig A (talk | contribs) 18:43, 21 November 2009 (UTC)

Your editing

it would seem you are not familiar with how a wiki works. that being said, the Welcome located at the top of this page has plenty of links containing all of the information you need to know how to edit a wiki. you cant start a friendly conversation on a talk page, thats not what their for, and im not going to let you archive your Welcome message, if its very obvious you didnt read it. so what i want you to do is read over some of the guidelines and if you can show us you know how to edit properly, i will allow you to archive your talk page. however, if you arent here to help contribute to the site, then the forums are what youre looking for. -- MAGNEDETH 18:51, 21 November 2009 (UTC)

OI!!! Let me archive it! I am extremely familier with it! How doare you...! SpecialK 18:53, 21 November 2009 (UTC) Anyway i cant find anything to do!! I cant edit a problem that isnt there!! SpecialK 18:54, 21 November 2009 (UTC)

its comments like that ^^ that show me you are lying. you did not read any of the guidelines, and you do not know how to edit a wiki. -- MAGNEDETH 19:02, 21 November 2009 (UTC)

Please give me something to do then. SpecialK 19:04, 21 November 2009 (UTC)

ok, read the Manual of Style. -- MAGNEDETH 19:07, 21 November 2009 (UTC)
Can i have my archive privliges back? SpecialK Leiks Lucario and The Celebi Glitch 13:30, 10 January 2010 (UTC)

Username Linking

Whenever you're creating a link that involves your username, please do it as [[User:SpecialK|SpecialK]] or {{u|SpecialK}}, NOT as [[SpecialK]]. Doing it the last way will only serve to add unwanted links to our wanted pages and force someone patrolling them (usually a sysop such as myself) to come by any page with the wayward link on it and remove it. --Shiningpikablu252 13:37, 19 December 2009 (UTC)

how do you do the line? i mean this | (i copied and pasted from your comment) SpecialK 14:11, 19 December 2009 (UTC)

That's a pipe. If you're using a standard keyboard, all you need to do is Shift+\. The \ key is above the Enter key along the right side of the keyboard. --Shiningpikablu252 14:14, 19 December 2009 (UTC)

im on a laptop, always on a laptop SpecialK 14:17, 19 December 2009 (UTC)

Do you see a symbol on your keyboard that appears to be two straight, vertical lines of the same length, one on top of the other? --Shiningpikablu252 14:20, 19 December 2009 (UTC)

what, this: | SpecialK 14:23, 19 December 2009 (UTC)

Yeah, that's the end result of input of the key with the symbol of two equal-length vertical lines, one on top of the other. The pipe appears to be broken into two lines on keyboards to try to keep it distinct from a capital letter I, lowercase letter l, number 1, !, /, or \. --Shiningpikablu252 14:27, 19 December 2009 (UTC)

but this | and this / look the same on my screen... SpecialK 14:28, 19 December 2009 (UTC)

signature

Your signature is supposed to represent your username in some way so could you please change it? Turtwig A (talk | contribs) 14:57, 28 December 2009 (UTC)

what do you mean? SpecialK Leiks Lucario and believe in Missingno. Master's Celebi Glitch because i caught one! 15:50, 30 December 2009 (UTC)

Your signature right now exceeds the "80 characters onscreen" limit and thus isn't following the signature policy... can you please change it? Thanks. ▫▪Ťïňắ 16:51, 30 December 2009 (UTC)

This OK? SpecialK Leiks Lucario and The Celebi Glitch 16:53, 30 December 2009 (UTC)

Yeah, that should be fine. Also, remember to indent your comments using colons (:) before your comment, like I just did. I'll stop bothering you about this stuff now though lol ▫▪Ťïňắ 17:04, 30 December 2009 (UTC)

making a table

This is how you make a table: This is an uncoded example of a table: {| align=center border="1" style="border: 1px solid #000; border-collapse: collapse;" width=300px cellspacing="0" |- style="background: #ccf;" ! First column ! Second column |- | something that should be put in the first column | something that should be put in the second column |- | something that should be put in the first column | something that should be put in the second column |- | something that should be put in the first column | something that should be put in the second column |}

when coded, this will show:

First column Second column
something that should be put in the first column something that should be put in the second column
something that should be put in the first column something that should be put in the second column
something that should be put in the first column something that should be put in the second column

You can add a new column by putting this:

!(name of new column)

and a new row by putting this:

|-

| (the words in the first column)

| (the words in the second column)

etc.

You can also add color by changing the #ccf or #000 to something like #FAE078 or #4E8234. You can also add color to the boxes by putting this: style="background: #F85888" | (words in the box) This is the previous example uncoded, except with color in some boxes: {| align=center border="1" style="border: 1px solid #4E8234; border-collapse: collapse;" width=300px cellspacing="0" |- style="background: #FAE078;" ! style="background: #{{subst:Speed color}}" | First column ! Second column |- | style="background: #{{Subst:Psychic color light}}" |something that should be put in the first column | something that should be put in the second column |- | something that should be put in the first column | something that should be put in the second column |- | something that should be put in the first column | something that should be put in the second column |} when coded, this will show:

First column Second column
something that should be put in the first column something that should be put in the second column
something that should be put in the first column something that should be put in the second column
something that should be put in the first column something that should be put in the second column

. If you don't know what coding creates what color, you can just put something like {{Psychic color}}, which will create a color similar to the one on the icon of the type psychic. Hope this helps. Turtwig A (talk | contribs) 16:46, 1 January 2010 (UTC)

Thats what came out when i tried. Thats also what happened when i tried reading from the guide. What went wrong? SpecialK Leiks Lucario and The Celebi Glitch 13:38, 2 January 2010 (UTC)
What went wrong was that you didn't put a line break between the boxes. This is where you should have put the line breaks in the table. It'll be marked by a question mark that's bold and italicized.:
{| align=center border="1" style="border: 1px solid #000; border-collapse: collapse;" width=300px cellspacing="0" ?|- style="background: #ccf;" ?!Name Of Game?!Year?|- ?| something that should be put in the first column ?| something that should be put in the second column? |- ?| something that should be put in the first column ?| something that should be put in the second column? |- ?| something that should be put in the first column?| something that should be put in the second column ?|}. This is how your table would've appeared if you put line breaks:
Name Of Game Year
something that should be put in the first column something that should be put in the second column
something that should be put in the first column something that should be put in the second column
something that should be put in the first column something that should be put in the second column

The reason line breaks are needed is because the coding doesn't work unless at the start of the line. Hope you understand everything now. Turtwig A (talk | contribs) 14:37, 2 January 2010 (UTC) By line breaks, you mean like leave a line EG

123 456 Without line break 123 456 with line break? SpecialK Leiks Lucario and The Celebi Glitch 14:38, 2 January 2010 (UTC)

Yes I mean adding a line on and have the pipe/exclamation mark that starts the box/column at the beginning of that line. Turtwig A (talk | contribs) 14:41, 2 January 2010 (UTC)
Name of Game Year of USA Release
Red and Blue 1998
Yellow 1999
Gold and Silver 2000
Crystal 2001
Ruby and Sapphire 2003
FireRed and LeafGreen 2004
Emerald 2005
Diamond and Pearl 2007
Platinum 2009
HeartGold and SoulSilver 2010

Did this work? And i wanted to put it on a page, but where? SpecialK Leiks Lucario and The Celebi Glitch 15:04, 2 January 2010 (UTC)

It did work. I don't know where it should be put; try asking in a new section here. Turtwig A (talk | contribs) 15:06, 2 January 2010 (UTC)

Link templates

i warned you back on Nov 21st about your editing, and you still arent using Link templates. they are apart of our policy, use them. -- MAGNEDETH 20:00, 17 January 2010 (UTC) i dont get them... SpecialK Leiks Lucario and The Celebi Glitch 13:39, 20 January 2010 (UTC)

Couple of things

Don't change discuss delete to just plain delete. You don't really have the authority to do that. Also, don't add the delete template at the same time as the merge template. Only add the merge. It keeps all the information, without deleting anything. MaverickNate 15:28, 24 January 2010 (UTC)

sorry. can you tell me what i should have done instead? SpecialK Leiks Lucario and The Celebi Glitch 15:29, 24 January 2010 (UTC)
you don't need to apologize. You're learning. It's perfectly fine for you to learn. Anyway...you should have left the Igglybuff the Prodigy template as is. I think that it might be notable, but I haven't played the games so I don't quite know for sure. When we have situations like that, we want the people who do know about it to discuss whether it should be deleted or not, hence the discuss delete template. The SOL Satellite template: I do agree that it should be merged, but we don't want it deleted. Typically, when you want something merged, just add that template, so that we keep all the information. Hope this helps. MaverickNate 15:36, 24 January 2010 (UTC)
So, if i think it should be deleted, add the discuss delete template, or the merge template, is that right? and could you do me a favour and fix the colour problem on the Mt Minstral page?SpecialK Leiks Lucario and The Celebi Glitch 15:38, 24 January 2010 (UTC)
Depending on what you want deleted. Use your best judgment. If it is a page created in vandalism, {{delete}} is perfect. If it is something that looks like it could be informative, but maybe not notable, add {{DiscussDelete}}. If it looks like a helpless page with information that could possibly be joined with another article to make a better page, use {{merge}}. Got that? I'll take a look at the page, too MaverickNate 15:43, 24 January 2010 (UTC)

Thanks♪SpecialK Leiks Lucario and The Celebi Glitch 16:01, 24 January 2010 (UTC) That is what i wanted. what did you do to make it work by the way? SpecialK Leiks Lucario and The Celebi Glitch 16:05, 24 January 2010 (UTC)

The color templates are, as the name suggests, templates. All templates work by having {{ and }} on the ends of them. You forgot to have the brackets on the ends. That's all MaverickNate 18:16, 24 January 2010 (UTC)

Welcome template
