I am very busy, so if you have a question that any other staff member could answer just as easily, please avoid asking me it. Glitch stuff and any kind of task that I've been handling are still fine to ask about though. --SnorlaxMonster 11:34, 3 September 2012 (UTC)

trip strongest or massive powerhouse

how come you dont agreed with that serperior of trips is a massive powerhouse or the strongest pokemon in his team you saw the shows he did that will make a massive powerhouse pokemon in his team - unsigned comment from Gian9456 (talkcontribs)

Sorry for bumping up, but let me just tell you that it is almost impossible to figure out what you're saying. TheOriginalOne 19:27, 3 September 2012 (UTC)
It's not that I don't agree with you (in fact, I haven't even seen anything from Rival Destinies or later because it hasn't aired here yet), it's that it is an opinion. Even if it was outright stated in the anime, it's not notable either. --SnorlaxMonster 04:41, 4 September 2012 (UTC)

Glitch Pokémon sprites are the incorrect size and other random problems

Here's an example. 3TrainerPoké. Its sprite is only 24 x 56 instead 56 x 56. Issue? Also see Missingno.'s Yellow sprite. All that was white is transparent. Issue? Bulbapedia needs consistency and standardization. Now anything RSFRLGEDPPtHGSSBWB2W2 on the other hand should be transparent if transparent in game and if not then it shouldn't be. Also, how fast in milliseconds should BWB2W2 animations be? For trainers, how long should they stay still? Why does the top signature button create --~~~~ while the bottom one creates ~~~~? If I find a future world map of Temporal Tower's island, should I merge with our current map or create a new one? Is there a way to compare categories to see which articles are in two certain categories and which ones are not in both? Thank you for reading all the way to this sentence. --Abcboy (talk) 23:02, 3 September 2012 (UTC)

Glitch sprites should be 56×56, but since I don't have the original image the user has cropped the sprite from, I can't say exactly how much it needs to be expanded in each direction. That's why I complained back when a:File:RBGlitch234.png was cropped. And yes, they should be transparent as well (and most of them are, although Glitch (FA) wasn't until I fixed it just then); Missingno. Yellow's sprite is good. I don't handle animations; Masatoshi is a better person to ask. The top button is a MediaWiki default, while the character palette was made by us, so ~~~~ is what we put for people who don't want the -- I guess. If you find a map with the Into the Future of Darkness-exclusive Future World locations, merge it into the current one. Did I miss anything? --SnorlaxMonster 04:41, 4 September 2012 (UTC)
So by "transparent", are you also including sprites like a:File:Missingno RB.png's white color so no white is left? The famous Missingno.'s sprite, butchered!?!? </drama> For punctuation, should I use "Missingno.," and "Missingno.?" and "Missingno.'s?"? I just want some clarification. --Abcboy (talk) 03:00, 5 September 2012 (UTC)
No, only outside white. It isn't on regular sprites, so taking out the white on the inside of a glitch sprite shouldn't be done. --×Rsrdaman× 07:13, 6 September 2012 (UTC)
Honestly, I can't really give a universal ruling for how to transparentize them. In most cases a block of white surrounded by white shouldn't be transparent, but Yellow Missingno.'s sprite is good the way it is. Just use your judgement and assess them on a case-by-case basis. If you are unsure or there is a disagreement, just ask me about the specific sprite. And with "Missingno.", you punctuate as if the period wasn't there, except when using a period (so "Missingno.?" is fine, "Missingno.." is not). --SnorlaxMonster 08:35, 6 September 2012 (UTC)

Blocks in Glitchdex pages

I saw in the recent changes that your now removing those ▒ blocks. I wasn't aware that they weren't allowed at all; I thought only none in titles. I saw that TheOriginalOne had added the ◓ in names, and it wasn't reverted, so I assumed it was now alright in the time I had been gone. So should I remove all the ░ ▒ ▓'s from all glitch pages?--×Rsrdaman× 04:32, 4 September 2012 (UTC)

I've always had a dislike for those blocks, and I have stated it before I didn't want them used, but don't worry about it. Please do go and remove them all. I haven't been keeping a very close eye on my watchlist lately, so things get past me quite easily. However, he only moved one page. Anyway, it was only yesterday I outright said on a talk page that I did't want ◓ used at all, so I didn't expect you to know that. --SnorlaxMonster 04:41, 4 September 2012 (UTC)
Ok, I'll start removing them. And that comment was how the glitch name image system was born... interesting..
Also I see that your a Bureaucrat now, congratulations! I've been gone way to long...--×Rsrdaman× 04:53, 4 September 2012 (UTC)
Once we get an image for every glitch name, I can finally put my plan of moving all glitch Pokémon to systematic names (like epicodes) into use, then linking all glitches through a link template that displays an image of their name while linking to their page based on inputs of games and hexadecimal identifier. --SnorlaxMonster 05:06, 4 September 2012 (UTC)
Well that's a really good idea, I just uploaded ◣ゥ 8's and I'll start doing more.--×Rsrdaman× 05:31, 4 September 2012 (UTC)
Sorry for that. Yeah, I'm also mass uploading the name pics, since the end of August, because I'm really in a hurry to bring a end to the name polemics. Ok, gotta work. TheOriginalOne 15:38, 4 September 2012 (UTC)

Editing ……'s Evobox

Hello, SnorlaxMonster. I would like to ask assistance in fixing the GlitchEvoBox for ...... due to an issue. Currently, ...... is listed as Glitch/Unknown, while Missingno is listed as L/Normal. When I attempted to fix it, the types ended up correct, but it caused some conflicts with the template. To be a bit clearer, the text: style="background: #9DC1B7; border-radius: 80px; -moz-border-radius: 80px; -webkit-border-radius: 80px; -khtml-border-radius: 80px; -icab-border-radius: 80px; -o-border-radius: 80px; border: 2px solid #Template:L color dark;" | appeared. Since you have edited the template in the past, I think that you might know what the issue is. (What I had attempted: Type values set to |type1-1=Glitch |type1-2=Bird |type2-1=L |type2-2=Normal -and- |disptype2-1=Unknown removed) Super goku (talk) 06:50, 5 September 2012 (UTC)

If the "Pokémon" was from Generation III, I might stop trying to find a way to get it to display correctly, but it is from Gen I. In any case, editing seems to show that |type2-1 might be a problem. (At least for the page at the moment) Super goku (talk) 17:14, 5 September 2012 (UTC)
Oops, sorry. I was sure I created a new section. I was referring to in-game availability template. Marked +-+-+ (talk) 18:59, 5 September 2012 (UTC)
Ah, I understand you comment now. Ah well, I think that the template just has an issue with Glitch/L for some reason since L/Glitch works just fine. Sorry if I bothered you, SnorlaxMonster. Super goku (talk) 19:08, 5 September 2012 (UTC)
Okay, it turns out that whoever implemented display types didn't do it properly, but I've managed to fix them and reordered the types back to their correct order. Your workaround wouldn't work in cases where both types were glitch types other than Glitch or Bird, so it needed to be fixed. --SnorlaxMonster 08:35, 6 September 2012 (UTC)
Sadly, I did not see this until now, but thank you for fixing the template and those pages. The most I can do with templates is try to understand them though examples on other article, but this went beyond what I could find. Sorry if I caused any problems for you. Super goku (talk) 02:57, 7 September 2012 (UTC)
No, don't worry. In fact, it's a good thing you told me, because it actually would have been causing other problems too, and I'm glad it was brought to my attention to fix it. And you aren't expected to understand templates either. The evobox in particular confuses me a lot. --SnorlaxMonster 07:28, 13 September 2012 (UTC)

Template:Avail

This template seems to malfunction for Generation III Pokémon. It works fine for every other Generation, but it behaves strangely (at least it did so the last time I used it), despite that Pokémon having 16 fields (or 14 if they can't be acquired in B2W2 via any way, be it in-game, Dream World or an event) used, which is the number of games. Marked +-+-+ (talk) 12:35, 5 September 2012 (UTC)

I just needed to add B2W2 stuff to Avail-3 (strangely Gen III was the only one using a numbered Avail). However, the numbered Avails should be used, as just changing Avail-3 to Avail hits the switch limit and prevents the page from previewing. Therefore, I also added B2W2 compatibility to the other numbered Avails. --SnorlaxMonster 08:35, 6 September 2012 (UTC)
Well okay, except that Generation II fails to show White (not the sequel, the original White). Marked +-+-+ (talk) 13:09, 6 September 2012 (UTC) PS. Dream World rather shouldn't be colored... Things under not available aren't (including DW in the four other availability templates), why is this? These Pokémon are not in-game (mentioning that, what about events like Southern Island... They're in-game, unlike distributions)Marked +-+-+ (talk) 13:22, 6 September 2012 (UTC)

Just wanted to say thank you..

Thanks for adding the missing Pokémon Dolls to the Décor article :) Its just they keep expanding the Doll catalogue that its hard to keep up with. Now someone just needs to add the pictures of them. - Clubchloe1 14:58, 5 September 2012 (UTC)

They add more about once a month, and the images are generally uploaded at least as early as the previous batch (you can tell from the upload dates of some of the dolls like Pansear). I've contacted bluesun abouting getting the new ones, so I just have to wait for him to respond and we will have them. --SnorlaxMonster 08:35, 6 September 2012 (UTC)
Okay, thank you! - Clubchloe1 16:39, 6 September 2012 (UTC)

Glitch pokémon's name screenshots

Just wondering, we have been lately talking about that, and some time ago, in the middle of uploading, I think I found a problem: there are pokémon with an unstable name, that due to that same fact can't receive a name, and instead are named "Glitch (<hexadecimal>)". So, how can we upload screenshots of all the names if it's impossible to take the ones from the pokémon names I referred??? TheOriginalOne 17:02, 5 September 2012 (UTC)

Take a screenshot of the stable part of their name. Check Glitch City Labs and see what they use as the name. --SnorlaxMonster 08:35, 6 September 2012 (UTC)
Thanks, you really helped me! TheOriginalOne 18:17, 6 September 2012 (UTC)

GlitchPkmnInfobox

Could you please update that template by adding a pokédex part for Unova? (below the title "Pokédex") TheOriginalOne 18:17, 6 September 2012 (UTC)

Done. --SnorlaxMonster 09:00, 12 September 2012 (UTC)

Japanese glitch Pokémon....

Well I never really tried it before and I just had the opportunity to today. I was using a friends Japanese Yellow version and I did the teleport glitch and encountered Missingno. But it was nothing like the English versions, and it even made the screen invert its colors, and iv'e never seen that before. So now I got his Gameshark and started testing. I found that they were 'ALL different. Some were similar, like hex CF was almost identical to its English counterpart OPkMn4X. And even the most famous like Missingno. don't even appear and just enter an endless glitch song in Red. So does this mean that when we get to the point of completing all glitch Pokémon articles, we are really only half done? --×Rsrdaman× 02:44, 7 September 2012 (UTC)

Yeah, all different languages have different glitch Pokémon. I do not want pages for any other language glitch Pokémon at the moment, but if we ever do make them, it would only be for Japanese ones. --SnorlaxMonster 17:53, 9 September 2012 (UTC)

Missingno.'s normal form sprite

I noticed that it was recently changed by Abcboy, but I'm not talking to him because he specified on the summary that you wanted that same change. Well, what happens is: the change was making the white parts transparent. Well, not only I consider it unnecessary, since those parts are always white (or explain me why), as I see it causes problems. What do I mean with that? It's what happens if the background is not white... TheOriginalOne 17:08, 7 September 2012 (UTC)

I agree with TheOriginalOne here. Making Missingno.'s inner parts transparent just makes it look bad on a different color background.--×Rsrdaman× 01:23, 8 September 2012 (UTC)
I didn't specifically request it, it was Abcboy's interpretation of #Glitch Pokémon sprites are the incorrect size and other random problems. I don't like it either, so have reverted it. --SnorlaxMonster 17:53, 9 September 2012 (UTC)

Irregular glitch sprites

Sorry about not consulting you first, but we do need something for the naming of irregular sprites such as this one and this one. The Missingno. one was seen after a trade and the 'M one was seen in evolution. --×Rsrdaman× 03:40, 9 September 2012 (UTC)

Honestly, I don't think we even need those sprites. --SnorlaxMonster 09:00, 12 September 2012 (UTC)

Multi-strike move pages

I thought of that, but wouldn't I have to rename (move) the Categories page to make sure the link works? No Move button appears on the Category page. - unsigned comment from IWannaBeTheVeryBest (talkcontribs)

You actually can't move categories; you have to make a new one, then delete the old one (I've done that now). The category does need to exist to start putting pages in it; you just get articles in a redlinked category. --SnorlaxMonster 08:03, 9 September 2012 (UTC)

Just only one month to the release of Pokémon Black and White 2 worldwide!

Are you excited to play the game here in the United States? Wrrasba (talk) 17:01, 9 September 2012 (UTC)

I'm not in the United States. I'm in Australia. And please don't misuse talk pages; if you would like to socialize, please use the forums. --SnorlaxMonster 17:53, 9 September 2012 (UTC)

The page "Unova Pokérap"

The page must be protected to prevent creation because of a speculation crackdown. Wrrasba (talk) 22:42, 9 September 2012 (UTC)

I don't think there is any current issue with the page at the moment. --SnorlaxMonster 09:00, 12 September 2012 (UTC)

Archive stuff

Well, as I've been working with more and more Glitchdex images, it really peeves me to see any incorrectly named images now. I really hate to ask this, but how exactly does one become an admin on the archives? I didn't really see anything about it on there...--×Rsrdaman× 04:15, 10 September 2012 (UTC)

Same way you get a staff position on Bulbapedia. Hard work, setting a good example, demonstrating a knowledge of policy, etc. Note that being a staff member on either the Archives or BP does not entitle you to be one on the other. --SnorlaxMonster 09:00, 12 September 2012 (UTC)
Ok, thanks. And yeah, I know that becoming a admin on one site only make you it on that specific part of Bulbagarden, not the rest.--×Rsrdaman× 15:32, 12 September 2012 (UTC)

PkMnaPkMnゥ ♂ fPkMnk

Well, take a look at this. I was wondering if that black block could be considered its sprite? It is consistent.--×Rsrdaman× 01:45, 12 September 2012 (UTC)

I suppose so. --SnorlaxMonster 09:00, 12 September 2012 (UTC)

New GlitchPkmnInfobox

Well what do you think of this? This box would be only for Gen I and II. I changed it to have two pictures (for front and backsprites). I also made the index # box to show only the National dex and Johto Dex, considering they can't even connect with the later generations. It not quite finished, but would this be helpful or not? --×Rsrdaman× 16:14, 13 September 2012 (UTC)

I don't think that's the best way to display the back sprite. I think it would be better just to set the template up to only show one Pokédex number at once (two I suppose for Gen III and on GlitchMon) rather than including Johto, in which its Pokédex number is simply that of its Johto guard equivalent. We also need to incorporate menu sprites somewhere as well. --SnorlaxMonster 16:17, 13 September 2012 (UTC)
I did the things you said. It has a Menu sprite spot now. How do you like it? Check the talk page, it works fine too.--×Rsrdaman× 01:52, 14 September 2012 (UTC)
I like that, but what I was suggesting was adding a sprite box to the page that included the front sprite, back sprite, and menu sprite (although the front sprite would of course stay in the infobox). --SnorlaxMonster 03:03, 14 September 2012 (UTC)
So basically a separate box that has all the sprites in it? I think I could make that..--×Rsrdaman× 05:29, 14 September 2012 (UTC)
Yeah, pretty much. --SnorlaxMonster 08:09, 14 September 2012 (UTC)
Well? I made this just as a additional sprite box considering the regular sprite is already in the infobox. So, what do you think?--×Rsrdaman× 08:36, 14 September 2012 (UTC)
Well, I don't know about right align, and honestly I would have put the front sprite in there as well just for completeness. Does Missingno. have different back/menu sprites for each index number (or for its Fossil/Ghost forms)? Also, I would set it up to work for Gen II on sprites, so make it possible to include Shiny sprites as well. --SnorlaxMonster 10:48, 14 September 2012 (UTC)
Ok, i'll make it center and add the front sprite. And after doing tests these are my results:
  • All Missingno: Backsprite changes according to current enemy Pokémon. Same for 1F to B5
  • Fossil Missingno: Backsprite changes according to current enemy Pokémon. Same for all three.
  • Menu sprite is always the same for them all
So basically, the backsprite changes according to the opponents Pokémon, but it will always be that backsprite when battling that specific Pokémon, this goes for all the normal Missingno.'s, the fossil ones do this too but theirs look different. So I'm not sure what to do about that, 434 backsprites would be insane to have, so I'm guessing we would use the one for Bulbasaur? I checked the the regular glitch Pokémon and their backsprites always stay the same. Also for adding a shiny sprite section, I guess there could be a switch in it so if you put something like |ssprite=, an extra section would pop up for that, but I'm not very good at doing a switch, so I'm not sure if I could do that... I could make a separate one for just Gen II if that's ok.--×Rsrdaman× 18:30, 14 September 2012 (UTC)
Update: Made the box how you said, tested and working.--×Rsrdaman× 19:23, 14 September 2012 (UTC)
Update II The box This centered now and includes a title. I was thinking how this would be oriented on the page. Would it be it's own section, threfore needing no title in it? Well before all that, tell me if it's even what you wanted first.--×Rsrdaman× 04:23, 15 September 2012 (UTC)
I suppose Vs. Bulbasaur is the best option. 'M's backsprite would be the same as Missingno.'s, right? I'd rather not do another one for Gen II+; I guess I'll put that function in at some point, but there are way less glitch Pokémon post-Gen I anyway. Yeah, sprites would be a whole new section, so the heading isn't really necessary. --SnorlaxMonster 17:28, 15 September 2012 (UTC)
Changed the template for no title and yeah, 'M's backsprite is the same as the normal Missingno.--×Rsrdaman× 23:09, 15 September 2012 (UTC)
So can I make this a template, or is there anything else you want me to do to it?--×Rsrdaman× 20:56, 16 September 2012 (UTC)
I've fixed the align code (align= should not be used anymore), so I guess it can be mainspaced. I was under the impression that we really don't have enough back/menu sprites uploaded at the moment to justify putting it in use yet though. --SnorlaxMonster 13:07, 17 September 2012 (UTC)

Pokémon Square

I found a .png version of the map here. Please upload over the current Pokémon Square map. Thank you! -Abcboy (talk) 20:55, 14 September 2012 (UTC)

It looks you've already done this anyway. --SnorlaxMonster 17:28, 15 September 2012 (UTC)

Capitalized userpage & glitch pkmn with 2 sprites

Hi, this has been annoying me for months, and I still didn't manage to modify it whitout breaking it. What I'm talking about is my navigation template, that despite everything I do, always makes the text below it be completely in capitals and centered (making all the : used on the talk page useless). Please, could you check it out and see what's wrong?

Also, I have another question for you: it's annoying for me to see that the glitch pokémon with two possible sprites have the picture for it as a merge of both, with white space between. It's annoying because that's showing no real sprite, and when it comes to the evolution template, then not only that problem becomes more serious, as another one appears: the white space. So until now I haven't stopped thinking about why won't we delete those merge "sprites", and then upload seperate versions of each, starting to do the following:

  • The main infobox will contain both sprites (its appearance still doesn't change);
  • The evo template will contain a switch, so that one day one sprite is shown, the other day the second one, and so on.

... or at least we could make the white space from the merged sprites transparent. So, what do you think? TheOriginalOne 22:26, 14 September 2012 (UTC)

Fixed your capitals problem. You hadn't closed . There should only be one sprite each, the main one just needs to be found. I could be one is from the Pokédex and one is from battle, or they're using different palettes. I hate time switches and think we should avoid them as much as possible; in fact, they were really implemented in the first place to show off what TTE could do with wikicode. For the time being, yeah, that white space should be transparent. --SnorlaxMonster 17:28, 15 September 2012 (UTC)
Hey, but my userspace problem is still on! You may have closed the sc, thanks, but the pages with that template are still the same! What's wrong now? TheOriginalOne 18:57, 15 September 2012 (UTC)
You also hadn't closed the table. Now it's better. --SnorlaxMonster 08:30, 16 September 2012 (UTC)
...I actualy meant to keep it opened, but ok, it doesn't matter right now. TheOriginalOne 17:32, 16 September 2012 (UTC)
Found the issue. gets upset if there is an enter line break (<br> is fone) between it and . I've just turned it into two sets of , so it works now. --SnorlaxMonster 13:07, 17 September 2012 (UTC)

Yeah, but the centered text problem prevails. Isn't there any solution to it? TheOriginalOne 17:39, 22 September 2012 (UTC)

Template:Sup

Needs combos like RY, GY, BY, G, RE, SE, GC, SC, DPt, and PPt. Also needs Blazing, Stormy, and Light. (I would say to use PMDB, PMDS, and PMDL, but PMDS is Sky. PMDBAS is too long, while PMDBSL looks odd too.) And Magnagate is needed too. Don't forget Time-Sky and Darkness-Sky. A table of all the combinations would be nice too. Thank you, Abcboy (talk) 04:12, 15 September 2012 (UTC)

Combinations are done with two templates. So if you want to do RY, you do RY. Blazing, Stormy and Light do need to be added, but since we've never really had any information on them, they haven't been needed before. --SnorlaxMonster 04:14, 15 September 2012 (UTC)
Ah, OK. It's still missing Green and Blue (Japanese), though. Stadium 0, 1, 2, Box, Ranch, PokéPark 1, 2, Ranger 1, 2, and 3 would be nice to have. --Abcboy (talk) 04:27, 15 September 2012 (UTC)
Please delete Template:gameabbrev and Template:Gameabbrev2. Old historical templates. But once they are deleted, Template:Gameabbrev3 will look off with the 3. --Abcboy (talk) 15:22, 15 September 2012 (UTC)
I think a template would be nice to have on these old templates so no one forgets. Like this:
233Porygon2.png This template is slated for removal from Bulbapedia.

This template is being phased out and replaced with Template:P. You can help by checking if anything links here and removing any links in the manin namespace.

Administrators - Remember to check if anything links here and the page history before deleting.

It would also categorize into Category:Templates to be phased out. Is it a good idea? Also, can you delete Template:Habitat? --Abcboy (talk) 15:47, 15 September 2012 (UTC)
Oh, I hadn't realized those had been completely delinked (over a year ago I did some delinking on those, but never finished). I'm not going to move gameabbrev3 yet, as it had the same issue sup had: it's a gigantic switch. Porygon2 is already used on DiscussDelete, so I don't think it should be reused; here's a derivative of it I made. --SnorlaxMonster 17:28, 15 September 2012 (UTC)
Ah, I saw. Looks nice. Why is there space next to Kris? --Abcboy (talk) 17:34, 15 September 2012 (UTC)
How would I make a request for a bot task? My request: "Image:" → "File:" --Abcboy (talk) 00:07, 16 September 2012 (UTC)
No idea why that space is there. That would probably only ever be added as a side task, so if BulbaBot was doing other fixes it would do that too. This is where you make requests like that. --SnorlaxMonster 08:30, 16 September 2012 (UTC)
What do you think of this? I think each article would have enough information if Weather conditions was split. --Abcboy (talk) 14:54, 16 September 2012 (UTC)
I like the idea. I also like that you went out and took the initiative to make a draft page (that's what I do because it tends to be the only way to get things done). I made quite a few changes to it, but I still strongly dislike the anime/manga sections. What I do know is that rain debuted in the first episode. Really, only "rain" is necessary, not "heavy rain". I found the paragraph about the locations too messy, so I turned it into a table. --SnorlaxMonster 13:07, 17 September 2012 (UTC)
I think that weather conditions should only count when used in the anime/manga if they have an effect in battle or the actual move/ability caused it. I cannot think of all the episodes with rain in them as there are so many. It snows in Snowpoint all the time. Would you could that as weather in the anime? There was fog in BW054. They didn't battle in it, nor was it caused by a move or an ability. It isn't even in the right generation. I was inspired by how status ailments were split. I also dislike pages that long lists of bullet points, like weather conditions and Pokémon Center (store). Can you also tell me what "eastern" and "western" Hoenn routes means? Where's the fine line? I think the space next to Kris is caused by the width of the box, as it is greater than Kris's dimensions. --Abcboy (talk) 19:22, 17 September 2012 (UTC)
Template:Moveentryspecial still uses Template:Sup, which I believe is the cause of why Secret Power still uses it. --Abcboy (talk) 02:47, 19 September 2012 (UTC)
You here? --Abcboy (talk) 05:33, 22 September 2012 (UTC)

I think that is a fair point made about weather, but maybe it should only apply to rain, intense sunlight, and fog. Hail and sandstorm aren't very common, and I think that say when there is a sandstorm while crossing the desert it should count as the weather condition. As for Secret Power, Shellos was done wrong and it was submitting {{sup|}} due to Shellos having "East" set one slot too far over. --SnorlaxMonster 08:54, 22 September 2012 (UTC)

'M

Could you please move 'M to 'M (00) and Charizard 'M to 'M (FF), just like some time ago Rsrdaman moved Glitchy Nidorino to Glitch (FA)? TheOriginalOne 19:14, 15 September 2012 (UTC)

Done. --SnorlaxMonster 08:30, 16 September 2012 (UTC)

PkMn pゥぁ ゥぇ (D6): EXTREMELY IMPORTANT!!!

I moved it to PkMn pゥぁ ゥぇ before I knew that there was actualy a CE. Then , while I was correcting it, I couldn't undo the move, so I tried to move it again. I tought I had actualy managed it, but that was because I forgot the space (it bacame PkMn pゥぁ ゥぇ(D6)). So, now I was reading this comment on my talk page, and everything became clear, so that's why now I CAN'T WAIT FOR YOU TO READ THIS MESSAGE and, as a staff member, put everything in order again. Could you look over my edits to the Number Disambiguations

Just wanted to make sure that everything is going alright with my edits to them. Specifically, disambiguations 000 to 016. Sorry for bothering you, but I just wanted you opinion on how the Hex Ids were working out. Super goku (talk) 00:37, 17 September 2012 (UTC)

Index number additions are fine to me, but call them index numbers and not hexadecimal identifiers as you are expressing them as decimals. --SnorlaxMonster 13:07, 17 September 2012 (UTC)
Oh, ok. I was using the 000 page as a template for the rest. Does that mean that all mentions of hexadecimal identifier be changed to Index number or all of the mentions outside of "By hexadecimal identifier, --- may refer to:" be changed to hexadecimal identifier? Super goku (talk) 03:10, 18 September 2012 (UTC)
It depends on whether hexadecimal identifier or index number is used. Index number is a general term and can be used for it in decimal, hexadecimal, or even binary. Hexadecimal identifier can only be used if the index number is expressed as a hexadecimal number. --SnorlaxMonster 08:54, 22 September 2012 (UTC)
That explains 000. (Sadly, that was the page I used as a template) I will try to fix 001 to 018 in the next few days. Super goku (talk) 03:41, 23 September 2012 (UTC)

4Kids music

Coppied from my talk page just in case.

I noticed you have been removing trivia regarding 4Kids music in the TCPi dub, citing that TCPi hasn't used any 4Kids music (with apparently one exception in season 11). However, often you removed only some 4Kids dub music sources while leaving other. For example, on DP158, you removed PK01 and M03 for simply being 4Kids, while leaving M05, PK12, and M07, which were all also dubbed by 4Kids. On DP159 you removed M03, but left PK10, M06, and M08. On DP161 you removed PK01 and M01, but left PK10, PK12, and M08. On DP162, you removed M03 but left M05 and M07. Honestly, I tend to stay out of the anime section, but I think either your reasoning is flawed or you have missed some that should be removed. --SnorlaxMonster 11:40, 17 September 2012 (UTC)

You see 4kids did the music for the first 3 movies and the first two pikachu shorts. if you undid my edits then that was a mistake because just because 4kids did the 4th 5th 6th 7th and 8th movies and their pikachu shorts doesn't maen that they did the BGm too. Christian Woods Azu! 14:51, 17 September 2012 (UTC) Also let's not confuse 4kids background music for 4kids era background music. 4kids background music refers to music made by 4kids, while 4kids era background music refers to music that was used during the 4kids dub, but not necessarily made by 4kids - it can refer to the japanese background music that was kept in the dub, like what they did in some episodes, the 3rd through 6th Pikachu Short and the 4th through 8th movies. does that help? Christian Woods Azu! 15:00, 17 September 2012 (UTC)

GlitchSpriteBox

Ok well I have started to make and upload menu sprites. I'm naming them like YGlitchMenuMissingno.png which is YGlitchMenuMissingno.png. "Missingno." would be replaced by a Hex # of course. So is this naming system ok?--×Rsrdaman× 21:48, 17 September 2012 (UTC)

Just found out that Glitches who have the same index number have the same menu sprites as well. So RBGlitchMenu### sounds good?--×Rsrdaman× 15:48, 18 September 2012 (UTC)
I think you mean Pokédex number (please don't mix up index number and Pokédex number in articles; there is a huge difference). The naming system seems fine, but since most of them likely share their menu sprites with other things (being menu sprites for non-glitch Pokémon or overworld sprites of Trainers etc.) so it may be better to name them like the rest of these or these, if relevant. --SnorlaxMonster 08:54, 22 September 2012 (UTC)

Missingno?

I recently came across thisketsuban-sprite.png It says on Glitch City that it literally translates into Missingno., but this is a sprite from Gen IV. I can find literally nothing on this. Do you know anything about it?--×Rsrdaman× 22:55, 20 September 2012 (UTC)

MISSINGNO. is just a string saying that there is no number submitted. I can confirm that that Japanese text does translate to Missingno., but it is really just filler data, not the programmers trying to reference Missingno. I don't mind if it is mentioned in Missingno.'s trivia though. Also, Missingno. was in hiragana in Generation I, not kanji like that value is in Generation IV. --SnorlaxMonster 08:54, 22 September 2012 (UTC)
Yeah, I'm aware that its not the same characters as the Gen I Missingno.'s name nor is it related to it, but I was moreover wondering if it really was anything, but I'll just do what you said.--×Rsrdaman× 03:17, 23 September 2012 (UTC)

These are their Berry tag descriptions. The Berry Tag is where you can see how the berry tastes and see a really detailed picture. I'm planning to upload the tag sprites soon. See Pumkin Berry for what I mean. Please translate soon. (I asked Umeko too, but she didn't reply. She hasn't been active since July.) --Abcboy (talk) 14:31, 22 September 2012 (UTC)

This is really annoying...

...and it has to do with the archives, but still, I'm telling you this here because it's where you're more active. What's the old matter I'm talking about? Well, it could be 2 things: A Wild ----- appeared 's newbie edits, or the extremely limited privileges that autoconfirmed users have got on the archives. What happens is that he uploaded the pictures File:OpelucidGymGlitch1.JPG, File:OpelucidGymGlitch2.JPG, File:OpelucidGymGlitch3.JPG and File:OpelucidGymGlitch4.JPG, and then put them here

2 things about it:
  • This one will be obvious for you even without going anywhere: the pics are jpg;
  • The quality is just TERRIBLE! The one that looks better is the last one, and also, all of them are pretty much the same thing, so I decided to delete the shortcuts to the other ones from the page.

What do I want you to do for me? Please just delete the 3 first ones and move File:OpelucidGymGlitch4.JPG to File:OpelucidGymGlitch.png, as a png format. Much better that way. TheOriginalOne 17:35, 22 September 2012 (UTC)

GlitchEvobox

Could you please make it possible for the name that appears on that template to be other than the name of the page, and still to redirect to the same page when the title is wrong due to technical limitations? For example, it would be possible to have 3TrainerPoké$'s evobox instead of saying the wrong name (3TrainerPoké$) say 3TrainerPoké$, but still appearing in bold due to the possibility of making it redirect to another place. Don't you agree? TheOriginalOne 17:56, 22 September 2012 (UTC)

That's the purpose of displayname. However, it doesn't work with images, so you can't put $ in there (and there is no way to link a combination of text and image at the same time; they can both individually link to the same page). There is nothing wrong with having a dollar sign in the evobox though. --SnorlaxMonster 05:56, 23 September 2012 (UTC)
Actually, I have been annoyed by this a bit. I would like to do the following, but as I believe SnorlaxMonster said it just causes issues. (Unless, this is hopefully something else.) Super goku (talk) 08:11, 23 September 2012 (UTC)

Yeah, images can't be linked with text. Just use $ in those articles. --SnorlaxMonster 08:16, 23 September 2012 (UTC)

Music-based trivia

I've spotted a lot of trivia bits which go along the lines of 'The music for this location contains snippets/quotes from x, y, an z'. These usually don't sit well with me but I've been seeing them a lot lately. I'd like to know what your stance is on trivia bits like that, because I don't want to go on an unabated trivia slashing spree on this topic without any official guidance. Chicobo329 (talk) 20:14, 22 September 2012 (UTC)

Could you link to a page with this kind of trivia as an example? I'm not entirely sure what this trivia is. --SnorlaxMonster 05:56, 23 September 2012 (UTC)
Sure! Check this for instance. http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Frontier_Brain Chicobo329 (talk) 06:05, 23 September 2012 (UTC)

Shall I remove the Route 23 one too? Chicobo329 (talk) 06:12, 23 September 2012 (UTC)
That one seems alright to me. --SnorlaxMonster 06:24, 23 September 2012 (UTC)

Yellow Missingno.

I had a theory today. If hex B6, B7, B8 in Red and Blue are special forms of Missingno.; then wouldn't it be logical to assume that they are too in Yellow? I tested this out today and I was correct. All three have different sprites than the regular Yellow Missingno., and do not freeze the game at all, they act like regular Pokémon. This is the sprite of Yellow hex B6, just to show you. So I'm guessing that this probably is going to require a lot of changes to the page. How should this be layed out?--×Rsrdaman× 05:30, 23 September 2012 (UTC)

Yeah, I had heard that the Yellow equivalents of the Ghost/Fossil forms were different from the general Yellow form. Just treat it as an additional form. Perhaps something I suggested shortly after joining could be done... --SnorlaxMonster 05:56, 23 September 2012 (UTC)
I like the sound of that. I always thought they should have separate pages... They aren't anything alike. I'll start with the whole split tomorrow and add in the 3 new forms.--×Rsrdaman× 06:03, 23 September 2012 (UTC)
I think it would be a better idea to keep the primary page up, but also make subpages (like Missingno./YB6 or Missingno./B6). --SnorlaxMonster 06:08, 23 September 2012 (UTC)
Oh, ok. Just make each have their own then... I guess I'll remove all info of B6, B7, and B8, and just link them to their pages with a "main article" link?--×Rsrdaman× 06:22, 23 September 2012 (UTC)
I think even just summarize what we have, not even completely removing it. --SnorlaxMonster 06:24, 23 September 2012 (UTC)
Alright, sounds good.... It's amazing how every step I take to complete the GltchDex just results in me finding much larger things that I had ever anticipated, and thus lengthening the work needed to complete it.... --×Rsrdaman× 06:31, 23 September 2012 (UTC)
That's pretty much how I find everything to do with the wiki. Every time I do something I just find more tasks to do doing that. --SnorlaxMonster 06:36, 23 September 2012 (UTC)

...was the top of this edit good for now? It's objective is to make people understand that some more edits are needed... TheOriginalOne 17:21, 23 September 2012 (UTC)

Different sprites on the same Dex #

PkMn (D8) and ♀ . have the same dex number but different sprites. I don't know how they should be named. Also, you know when you battle a glitch Pokémon, and in the next battle, the sprites for you and your Pokémon are scrambled? Well, the only way to view PkMn (D8)'s sprite is under that condition. I await your thoughts in November..--×Rsrdaman× 04:38, 25 September 2012 (UTC)

Different battle sprites? That really shouldn't be the case; are the sprites consistent? Or are you suggesting that PkMn (D8)'s sprite is scrambled, and ♀ .'s is the real one? Anyway, why do you need to battle a glitch Pokémon before PkMn (D8)? --SnorlaxMonster 08:11, 19 November 2012 (UTC)

My new berry article

Welcome back! I am planning on splitting up the {{BerryInfobox}} and my example is a bi over to the right. Ta-da! --Abcboy (talk) 19:59, 19 November 2012 (UTC)

A list of Berries by some attributes. I don't know what title it will be moved to, but I'm thinking of List of Berries by attribute. Is this covered by Project GlitchDex? Sure will be useful! From Wikipedia. Sorta works with yours. Do you like? --Abcboy (talk) 04:26, 20 November 2012 (UTC)
I really like your split up infobox; I would suggest breaking off the Ice Cream Scoop data into "Uses" though. Also, I don't think "Flavors" really fits under Tag information and I think it should be moved to either its own section or "Uses". The Pokéstar Studios opponents cannot be encountered via glitch (at least to my knowledge) so they are not covered by Project GlitchDex; they still have relevance to the List of Pokémon by index number (Generation V). Your hex2dec template seems nce, but I don't know what it is for. I would make it "List of Berries by size" and just make the firmness categories (e.g. Category:Super hard Berries). --SnorlaxMonster 16:01, 20 November 2012 (UTC)

Glitch Pokémon sprites

This category is a mess. Is there going to be standardization? --Abcboy (talk) 07:10, 22 November 2012 (UTC)

There is a naming convention, but there is no massive push to rename them and the glitch pages in general need cleaning. They do get renamed over time, but it is a slow process (I came up with the naming convention back in 2009 not too long after I joined, and didn't get it put in place until early this year). --SnorlaxMonster 11:20, 22 November 2012 (UTC)

Trip

For the Pokémon Competitons Section on characters like Trip, why is the place they got lower cased? Wouldn't it look better upper cased? I had it like that, but you reverted my edit. Torpoleon (talk) 13:56, 22 November 2012 (UTC)

They're not proper nouns and not at the start of a sentence, so should be lowercase. --SnorlaxMonster 13:57, 22 November 2012 (UTC)
There are others were it is capitalized. Torpoleon (talk) 15:43, 23 November 2012 (UTC)
They didn't used to be. Someone has been capitalizing them. Not sure who. --SnorlaxMonster 15:44, 23 November 2012 (UTC)

Movie characters

I just want to say that glad you pointed out the missing sub-headings for the manga section for movie characters. I was adding their manga sections as they were missing them in their articles. Do you think the manga appearances should stay between their anime appearances and artwork, or moved somewhere else? PattyMan 04:31, 24 November 2012 (UTC)

I think above artwork is fine. That would allow potential manga artwork to go there as well. --SnorlaxMonster 04:46, 24 November 2012 (UTC)
I would agree with that. PattyMan 04:54, 24 November 2012 (UTC)

The LevelV template and other generations.

Well, I asked Werdnae if he couldn't do something similar for other Generations He said there was a similar draft for Generation IV (but was incomplete due to lack of time). I borrowed it, and tried to do something with it, and these are results. Not sure if there is something there to fix. Deoxys for Generation III might need better way, or something. Marked +-+-+ (talk) 13:23, 24 November 2012 (UTC)

Looks alright to me. You may want to change the color of the text under RSColoXD though, as the contrast is really bad. In fact, you may want to make the text colors either black or white (depending on the background color) for consistency and readability. --SnorlaxMonster 15:14, 24 November 2012 (UTC)
Okay, text is now black (though I am considering giving white for RSE/RSColoXD, depending if black will be visible on that background). Marked +-+-+ (talk) 20:11, 24 November 2012 (UTC)
Ah, that is so much nicer. Can I suggest that you merge DP and Pt for Ho-Oh, and Pt and HGSS for Pineco? There's no point having separate columns when they are the same. --SnorlaxMonster 03:31, 25 November 2012 (UTC)

PJCP redirects?

It should be PCJP (Pokemon Center Japan), isn't it? - unsigned comment from Akurochan (talkcontribs)
