Sho's Raichu

Sho is a character of the day. Bulbapedia does not allow Pokémon that belong to characters of the day to have their own article, as they are not notable. Now, you can mention Sho's Raichu on his page, but do not create an article about it. Don't feel bad about asking, because you're not the first one, and I'm sure you won't be the last. But Bulbapedia has certain guidelines as to who can and cannot have their own article. Sho is notable, his Raichu is not. --PAK Man Talk 03:56, 17 November 2008 (UTC)

Tried to follow my blunder of an example, did you? Yeah, I thought Sho's Raichu was especially notable, being shown in imitation of a Gym Leader's Raichu, but it didn't go over well. --SharKing ((Talk to the King!)) 14:41, 17 November 2008 (UTC)

Please

Slow down on editing the User: namespace. There are only three userspace edits allowed per day, and you have gone over the limit. Editing your userpage too much will lead to it being locked again. Instead of making multiple small edits, why not instead use the preview button (Alt + Shift + P) to check your edits before saving the page? Thank you. --Shiningpikablu252 04:51, 17 November 2008 (UTC)

Use the Signature

Just a heads-up: The Admins are less likely to get on your nerves if you sign your talk page comments with 4 tildes, like this: ~~~~

This shows a signature saying "ShinjiLover," with the time and day the comment was posted.

Also, I'm pretty sure you want a more stylish signature. Mine and others are examples. Speaking of examples, --SharKing ((Talk to the King!))

If you want a signature like that, I think I can pitch. How's this?

ShinjiLover

To make it automatic, copy the wikicode onto the "Signature" option under "My Preferences" at the top-right of the page. Be sure to check the "Raw Signature" box. For God's sake, check the box! --SharKing ((Talk to the King!)) 14:14, 18 November 2008 (UTC)

Well, you made a nice signature. Nice use of kana. But, I might suggest shortening the text of the contribution link. Other than that, wonderful job! SharKingHo ho ho! 12:43, 14 December 2008 (UTC)

Bibarel

Is not notable, while the Staraptor is.--Coolピカチュウ! 06:43, 21 November 2008 (UTC)

Link templates

Please remember to use link templates on articles, in accordance with Bulbapedia policy. If you wish to link to a certain character's Pokémon, but only show the species name, like you did on Reggie about his Staraptor. You can use {{TP|Reggie|Staraptor}} instead of [[Reggie's Staraptor|Staraptor]]. Have a great day! ^_^ - Kogoro | Talk to me - 07:41, 21 November 2008 (UTC)

Hi

I noticed you have been editing the User: namespace a lot today. You may not be aware of this, but Bulbapedia has a Userspace policy that asks users to only edit their pages three times a day, at most. Instead of making multiple edits, why not use the Preview button (Alt + Shift + P) located right next to the edit button to look at your page and see how it is coming? That way, your page can look great while staying within the required amount of edits. Just wait until tomorrow, okay? Thanks! --RexRacer -talk 06:20, 30 November 2008 (UTC)

Yeah, try to just stick to three edits per day on any page that starts with User:ShinjiLover. And when I say that, I mean total. So if you edited your User page twice and your Ryuku page once, that would be all of your alloted edits for the day. Make sense? Thanks. --RexRacer -talk 04:24, 2 December 2008 (UTC)

Moves Not in Pokémon Games

Hate creating new sections...your edits to here is deeply appreciated, however, it would be much better if you went in order. Maybe you should add moves from say... Gym Challenge or Gym Heroes. That's where they're focused. That's to avoid repeats. Also, Flame Kick sounds like Blaze Kick, and it's possible the Japanese name is the same. We want to avoid that. Thanks. ht14 03:13, 4 February 2009 (UTC)

Not the same. Nintendo is getting better at translating them, so the more recent cards should all be either game moves or not. MaverickNate 03:35, 4 February 2009 (UTC)

Nice Fakémon

I really like the descriptions of Ryuaku (リュアク) and Ryuku (リュウク). Have you looked at my Fakémon? --SharKing ((Talk to the King!)) 14:20, 1 December 2008 (UTC)

Talk Page Comments

Please don't erase talk page comments for no reason, even in subpages. Trust me, you do NOT want to end up like Big Johnno, who got into an edit war with a sysop over comments the former had erased and was trying to keep erased. That user ended up blocked and subsequently had every erased comment restored. --DCM((Shut the **** upSpy on My Edits)) 21:09, 30 November 2008 (UTC)

The Japanese Names

I know Japanese katakana letters, and I'm still studying hiragana. As for letter retrieval, I looked on several Pokémon pages and copy-pasted the appropriate kana.

Here's Ryumi's name: リュウミ

Glad I could be of help! --SharKing ((Talk to the King!)) 14:02, 2 December 2008 (UTC)

Synopses

I see you're doing a good job with the episode synopses. If you haven't already noticed, I have listed the episodes with incomplete synopses here, so I'd like of you could remove the episodes you write the synopses to from there. I can do it myself as well, but there's a chance that I miss a newly added synopsis. Thanks! :) UltimateSephiroth (about me · chat · edits) 10:48, 7 December 2008 (UTC)

Ah, no problem! =] I'll gladly take off the ones I do once I add them.
ShinjiLover 00:38, 6 December 2008 (UTC)
I'm really grateful that you are adding the synopses for different episodes, but could you please try to stay in the present tense? When you are always switching between tenses you end up creating a lot more work for other people. Something to keep in mind. Thanks. --RexRacer -talk 00:41, 7 December 2008 (UTC)

PokéBeach

Please don't upload card images from PokéBeach. Those have site stamps and we are not allowed to use them. The web master over there does not want anyone to use them, and we don't want Bulbapedia to get in trouble, so don't use images from over the internet, just scans of ones you do yourself, please. MaverickNate 03:02, 10 December 2008 (UTC)

Card Scans

I noticed you've been replacing scans for the Great Encounters set. I'm planning on scanning and uploading my GE set rather soon, so would it be possible for you to help fill in gaps in the Aquapolis & Skyridge sets instead? Thank you for your help with the TCG card articles! - Kogoro | Talk to me - 04:16, 10 December 2008 (UTC)

Do you know of the list? This could be very helpful when you want to look at what cxards are needed by set. I already took care of the Base set one though. Try to work at the top down, if you want. MaverickNate 04:21, 10 December 2008 (UTC)

The Fakémon Links

What happened to Ryuaku, Ryumi, and Ryuku? I don't see the links on your page anymore. SharKingHo ho ho! 12:42, 11 December 2008 (UTC)

I was going to delete them (or get someone who is able to delte them to) since I haven't been working on them at all lately (when I say 'working on them', I meant Ryumi). It's irking the crap outta me to get Ryumi finished, but since I don't want to, I thought it'd be best to just delete them. By the way, LOVE the Christmas theme!

Your request has been fulfilled. --PAK Man Talk 17:08, 11 December 2008 (UTC)

Sockpuppet

To elaborate, a "sockpuppet" in internet terms is a secondary account, owned by a single person. Evading bans is one use, and generally the only use you see on a wiki. However, Wikipedia's article on the subject details a few more instances where one might use the term. -- Jïörüjï Ðērākō.>.cнаt^ 05:01, 12 December 2008 (UTC)

Nareta

Well, I don't know complicated Kanji letters, but I can provide Nareta in katakana. Here it is: ナレタ

Always glad to help! SharKingHo ho ho! 12:44, 12 December 2008 (UTC)

Two Things

You are right on most of your points there.

  1. Character of the Day articles are finicky, but the admins like to keep them short and brief. So they look uniformed.
  2. And the two images thing was due to some users uploading 10+ images, so they put a hold one it. Especially because it doesn't benefit the wikiDCM((曲奇饼妖怪Spy on My Edits))

GHDN

I wish there were some bigger contributions to my GHDN page than adding some stupid comma. --Maxim 12:59, 1 February 2009 (UTC)

I don't see how my edit was rude. You're overreacting. And there's no reason to be thankful if you can't help my action in any way. --Maxim 13:05, 1 February 2009 (UTC)
Just like your addition of comma. I'm not looking for typo-correctors, I'm looking for DUB NAMES FROM CC. KYAPISU? You'll also shall NOT teach me how to act (it's also generally considered rude to "teach" someone like that), so please hide your stupid etiquette. --Maxim 13:11, 1 February 2009 (UTC)
Angry? No. I'm just ashamed of the fact that all the contributions to my project are just minor typo corrections. Your edit gave me a fat hope that there is someone who can help me and that's what made me upset. --Maxim 13:25, 1 February 2009 (UTC)
Did you look in Subtitles? Credits never show hidden names of characters, Subtitles do. --Maxim 13:29, 1 February 2009 (UTC)
You think that I didn't look in the Internet for the dub names? Of course I did. There are no sites which could have them. --Maxim 13:42, 1 February 2009 (UTC)
Sure you may try but you won't find much. Mostly fansites which use Japanese Names or some pages which don't even bother mentioning such characters. It's a waste of time. --Maxim 13:46, 1 February 2009 (UTC)

Trainer Class

Thanks for joining Project:Trainer Class. I've seen the work you've done and its looking great. Keep up the good work. :D--Clarky13 12:43, 2 February 2009 (UTC)

Perrow 2?

Actually, yours looks messy. As I said before to Diby, it must be with your computer. *tc26* 14:57, 2 February 2009 (UTC)

Moves Nav

the prev/next thing on move pages. not happening. dont add them. -- MAGNEDETH 00:39, 4 February 2009 (UTC)

Yeah, It has already been decided that prev/next for moves was a horrible idea. Please ask before doing something that big and expansive again, because there're reasons why they aren't on there. MaverickNate 00:39, 4 February 2009 (UTC)

Project: Fandom

Heya, ShinjiLover. I'll help you out. Weren't you, like, going to become the leadeer of the project anyway? lol.--Clarky13 02:31, 14 February 2009 (UTC)

Haha. That's OK. I hate geting angry comments from people. But it is a really good job your doing. :D How can I help you out now.--Clarky13 02:39, 14 February 2009 (UTC)
lol. Don't worry, I'll usually be there. If you need any help, just call.--Clarky13 02:43, 14 February 2009 (UTC)
Yeah, same. I thought it was you. I checked the Participants on the Project:Trainer Class and, I was like, wow!--Clarky13 02:50, 14 February 2009 (UTC)
hehe, yeah. Do you have MSN or something?--Clarky13 02:54, 14 February 2009 (UTC)

Separate or Merge Trainer Class articles

Heya again. Just informing you that we're having a vote in the Project Trainer Class talk page about merging Trainer Class articles. It has been a long debate on the forums and now we are going to do something about it. Since your part of the project, you what may wish to vote. See ya then :D --Clarky13 22:25, 14 February 2009 (UTC)

Shipping Stubs

If you're going to create them in rampant bulk, at least have the good grace to add the entire category listing at the bottom as well. Category:Ships with Max/Drew/Pokémon, what have you. The other articles have the format; it's just as easy to c/p them and make adjustments than for others to go back and find which 'Ships aren't listed as 'Ships. Stop

Please stop your massive editing of the berry articles.--RexRacer -talk 23:26, 28 February 2009 (UTC)

It's his project, if he wants to change it, he doesn't have to follow what I said. Sorry for the mix-up.MaverickNate 00:21, 1 March 2009 (UTC)
Do you see what Nate has said? Do you see what Kogoro has said? Minutes after the issue started, Kogoro, Nate and I reached a comprimise that included the placement of {{-}} on all of the Berry pages before the {{BerryPrevNext}} template, which would now go over the {{Project BerryDexnotice}} template. You had a criticism for me that didn't have any real support, due to the fact that I am the project leader and from what Nate has said "It's his project, if he wants to change it, he doesn't have to follow what I said." I do have absolute authority regarding berry articles, unless an administrator says something directly to either me or the project that contradicts my intentions.
Because I wanted to resolve the argument, Nate, Kogoro and I fixed the articles that were displaying incorrectly. Even then, eight hours after that had occured you badgered me on my talk page, criticising me for doing things your way, though I didn't need to do so. I qoute "Are you an admin? No, you're not, so I'd assume you don't know the styles. Kthnxbai." from you, assuming that I don't know the styles, even though I outrank you by months and have double the contributions that you have. Frankly, I could say the same thing about you, but I won't, because I assume that one knows about Bulbapedia's conventions if they stick around for longer than a couple of weeks.
Anyway, I'd like you to let the matter drop, and if you see it fit to continue, know that there will be administrator intervention. Thanks, --RexRacer -talk 16:43, 1 March 2009 (UTC)

Hey, I know things get heated but don't go calling other people assholes, it doesn't really help advance your point or anything. Just a heads-up, but...we're all on the same side here, ya know? -- evkl (need to talk?) 23:30, 1 March 2009 (UTC)
