Welcome to Bulbapedia, NotSteve!

Here are a few links to help you get started:

The Manual of Style, or MoS, outlines the format of all pages on Bulbapedia.

Our friendly team of staff are here to help! Talk to them if you have any questions or problems with Bulbapedia.

On talk pages, please sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~), or by using the "Your signature with a timestamp" (button_sig.png) button at the top of the edit window.

On Bulbapedia, the ability to edit personal userpages is a privilege. Per our userpage policy, this must be earned by first making constructive edits to the mainspace. Once you can, remember to keep userspace edits (edits to User:NotSteve) to a minimum.

For a complete list of policies and editing advice, please see the Welcome Portal.
Thank you, and have a good time editing here!

The Preview Button... your best friend. Use it please. It helps reduce multiple saves in a short time span, and thus server load. It is located right next to the save page button. --JediKnightDTV 16:25, 23 October 2010 (UTC)

Dude. Please use the preview button I have noticed you have edited DP183 thirteen times in a row just simply adding to the plot. Just make one big edit to the plot once you have made sure to put everything in. Be sure to use that preview button before you get in trouble with an administrator. - Vhayes1992 17:11, 27 November 2010 (UTC)

I keep having problems with the site logging me out when I preview my edits. NotSteve 16:51, 1 December 2010 (UTC)

Happens all the time to me. Don't know why, but all you have to do is hit the back key on your browser and try again. You'll get in. Also make it less stressful on yourself by editing the content offline on Notepad or a similar program, that way you can just copy/paste right in, making sure to check the code. --rockersk08 17:04, 1 December 2010 (UTC)

Should there be a "Reception" section on the HGSS page? If so, I can add it.--NotSteve 22:30, 28 February 2011 (UTC)

I'm not having a problem right now, but I went to edit my userspace and I got a message that Zhen Lin blocked my account in 2006...and I joined last September. Any explanation? NotSteve 22:14, 11 March 2011 (UTC)

I had that too for like five minutes after the lockdown ended. Just give it time. - Vhayes1992 22:17, 11 March 2011 (UTC)

Starting a Sandbox

Thanks, and sorry for the double-post, everythings a little wonky due to server stress I suppose. I was wondering how I could start a Sandbox page from my userspace? I want to record some highlights of my captures in White, if I'm allowed. NotSteve 01:39, 12 March 2011 (UTC)

To make a sand box you must type in the name of the page you want to make in the search bar Search "User:username/pagename" In this case it would be User:NotSteve/Sandbox. Click go and then click start this article. Then your page will be made! Hope this helps. --Pokemaster97 01:44, 12 March 2011 (UTC)

Userspace limits

Hi. I noticed you have been editing the User: namespace a lot recently. Please don't do it any more, though. Bulbapedia's Userspace policy restricts the amount you can edit your userpage: no more than three edits per day. This policy was instated to prevent strain on our server, and also to promote people helping out in the mainspace. Bulbapedia is an encyclopedia, after all, so help us out by contributing to some articles before coming back to your personal userpage. The more often you edit in the mainspace, the more you will be allowed to edit your userpage. Thanks! -- Jellotalk 02:22, 12 March 2011 (UTC)
