Missingno. Master's Talk Page Archives

Archiving

You are supposed to move the page, to conserve the history—not copy/paste it into a new sub-page. --SnorlaxMonster 14:31, 17 July 2010 (UTC)

Oh. Well, now I know that, thanks. I've been doing it wrong the whole time, then... - unsigned comment from Missingno. Master (talkcontribs) 14:33, 17 July 2010 (UTC)

Userspace Overuse

It has come to our attention that you have a massive amount of sub-pages in the userspace, some of which violate the userspace policy.

First, there is your overwhelming amount of "Missingno. Master's ______" pages. These pages should either be condensed into a single page (for instance, "Missingno. Master's Pokémon") or simply tagged for deletion.

Next, there is your fanfiction-related pages. As Maverick Nate told you a few days ago, fanfiction in any way, shape, or form is not permitted in the userspace. This extends to character biographies as well. If you have not already done so, copy down the information you have and tag the pages for deletion.

Finally, your pages on the Order of the Glitch must be deleted. They are equivalent to friend pages and have no place here on Bulbapedia, even as sub-pages. If you wish to maintain the Order of the Glitch, then make it a social group on the forums and copy the information over there.

You have one week to copy any information that you wish to keep. After that, we will delete all of the specified user pages. --Darkeiya talk to me! 07:00, 20 July 2010 (UTC)

I'd like to point out as well, as I said earlier, User:Missingno. Master/Template: User recieved GoldenGlitch and all related things break the Userspace policy, regarding user created awards. --SnorlaxMonster 07:32, 20 July 2010 (UTC)
Thank you, SnorlaxMonster. Rest assured, that template will be deleted immediately, seeing as he was previously warned about it. --Darkeiya talk to me! 07:54, 20 July 2010 (UTC)
Also, looking through some of his many userpages, he received a similar warning almost a year ago for the same reason as mention in your third paragraph. He was told he had one day, but then it seems that the administrator forgot about it. --SnorlaxMonster 09:13, 20 July 2010 (UTC)
Oh, boy. First, I never saw the warning for the page for the glitch revolution. I tend to not pay as much attention to each page's individual talk page. Second, I did acknoweledge the warning about the Golden Missingno. award, and I even think I said it was alright for it to be deleted. Third, you know what? The pages for my fizzy bubbles Pokemon, you can just delete those straightaway, I have the information elsewhere, and it's all just been one more thing I've been forgetting to update. I don't even have some of those Pokémon anymore. Fourth, as for the fanfic pages, I already said in the latest archive of my talk page, I already have everything on those pages elsewhere, and that I didn't think that they were violating the rule since it was only character biographies, but I DID say that if they were in violation, by all means delete them. Fifth, I'll handle the Order of the Glitch stuff immediately. I'll take your suggestion, and make it a social group on the forums. Sixth, let me just apologize for all the trouble I seem to be causing here. It was never my intention to violate all these rules. - unsigned comment from Missingno. Master (talkcontribs) 13:04, 20 July 2010 (UTC)
Oh, and one more thing. Please bear in mind that for some pages, specifically the Fizzy Bubbles pages, there are redirects from back when they detailed my team in Blue version. Those should've been deleted on the spot, actually. - unsigned comment from Missingno. Master (talkcontribs) 13:35, 20 July 2010 (UTC)
Also, can the Order of the Glitch page remain, so long as it doesn't actually list any members? So it just gives the organization's history? Or does that need to go on my main user page? - unsigned comment from Missingno. Master (talkcontribs) 02:12, 21 July 2010 (UTC)

Bikutini

Looks like Missingno. is finally canon. TTEchidna 00:02, 25 July 2010 (UTC)

Shinies

Wait a minute... so if you hate hacking for special Pokémon, how did you get so many shinies?! I don't doubt you, but my goodness, that must have taken a lot of work or some really great trades. What's your secret? Jazzmoth 00:09, 25 July 2010 (UTC)

Hard work, dedication, and lots of luck. - unsigned comment from Missingno. Master (talkcontribs) 01:02, 25 July 2010 (UTC)
Question: Why do you never sign your comments? --Landfish7 01:05, 25 July 2010 (UTC)
I do. I just have the unsigned comment thing as my signature. - unsigned comment from Missingno. Master (talkcontribs) 01:06, 25 July 2010 (UTC)
So did you just reset for days and days to get legendaries? How long did it take? ʝɑʐʑℳѻʈɦ ❝❞ 03:56, 25 July 2010 (UTC)
Well, that was the case for the first set of Regirock, Regice, and Registeel. Took about a month or three to get the whole set. I got lucky with Regigigas, that only took three or four hours. As for the second set of Regirock, Regice, and Registeel, and Kyogre and Rayquaza, those were already on the copy of Sapphire version I bought used from GameStop. I also had a shiny Shaymin that I got off the GTS, but I wound up getting rid of it. I couldn't transform it with the Gracidia, and I couldn't trade it again over the GTS, so I just released it. I don't know if it was hacked or what, but it made me feel uneasy. - unsigned comment from Missingno. Master (talkcontribs) 12:39, 25 July 2010 (UTC)

Card origins

No more. NO MORE! There are just too many things wrong with what you are adding. Much of it is false, speculation, heresay, and completely impossible. Where to begin. How can a card from the second generation originate from games that happened EIGHT YEARS AFTERWARD? Just because a Japanese romanization matches an English attack name, doesn't mean they are related. How can a genderless Pokémon Beldum have an attack based on Attract, a move that fails when Pokémon are genderless? What else? Everything! The rule of thumb, the card origin sections are very strict on what actually gets in there. The Japanese names (now, I'm talking about the actual Japanese text, not the translation of the text) have to match exactly, or be a simple spelling substitution: which tends to happen due to Japanese being all Hiragana, katakana, and kanji. Please dn't add any more...because most of it is speculation. MaverickNate 03:15, 13 August 2010 (UTC)

Manga images/scans

Please stop adding the picture template to manga images unless the image(s) in question are bad. Since most of these images are only in .jpg format or scans they it's not much of a reason to label them as a bad image. Thanks, --CoolPikachu! 02:45, 14 August 2010 (UTC)

Oh, alright. I was under the impression that JPG images in general were considered bad by Bulbapedia's standards. - unsigned comment from Missingno. Master (talkcontribs) 02:46, 14 August 2010 (UTC)
JPGs produce lower quality thumbnails, so PNGs are preferred. However, as these are scans they almost invariably come in JPG format. —darklordtrom 05:13, 14 August 2010 (UTC)
OK, then, I'll remember that. - unsigned comment from Missingno. Master (talkcontribs) 13:20, 14 August 2010 (UTC)
As hilarious as this may be, and even though you're right, let's try not to use language like that, alright? Little kids do come to this site, and it also seems unprofessional. Jellotalk 01:24, 15 August 2010 (UTC)
Oh. Yeah, you got a point there, sorry. - unsigned comment from Missingno. Master (talkcontribs) 13:21, 15 August 2010 (UTC)

TCG images being JPG

Most cards are saved in JPG format. Its just how they are. Why did you mark so many with unsatisfactory due to "its a JPG"? If the scan itself is bad, then that is another thing, but you can't say they are bad just because they are JPG. Most of them were reverted, but a few haven't been. You should go back and fix your mistake. Thanks, Blake Talk·Edits 03:51, 28 August 2010 (UTC)

That was actually covered in the section right above this one. As I said there, I was under the impression that JPGs were considered to be bad pictures all around for the purposes of Bulbapedia, and so I just slapped bad picture notices on any article that had a JPG. I imagine that the ones that haven't been reverted really are bad. - unsigned comment from Missingno. Master (talkcontribs) 11:28, 28 August 2010 (UTC)

ATTN: MissingNo Master

Please see my comment located at User_talk:Missingno._Master/Glitch_Pokémon_Policy_proposal, under heading " How was I able to guess... ". Please reply there, also. Additionally, be aware that I have a copy of my statement there saved onto my hard drive, so I can recall it in the event that you get angry and delete my message. --TruePikachu 07:16, 14 November 2010 (UTC)

n.b. he's not actually allowed to delete your message, it's against the rules ;D --ZestyCactus 07:19, 14 November 2010 (UTC)
And even if he did, you could get it back from the page history. --SnorlaxMonster 07:22, 14 November 2010 (UTC)
First off, I don't do that. I don't delete anyone's messages, no matter how much they might anger me (yours doesn't actually anger me. I might not like it, but that's your opinion, and you're perfectly entitled to it). I've seen what happens when people delete talk page comments. They're brought right back and the user who deleted them is warned, or blocked for repeat offenses. Second, I honestly have forgotten about that policy proposal myself. Third, now that I do remember it, your comment actually helped me to realize, this policy has zero chance of going through. I'm gonna slap a delete tag on the thing right now, actually. - unsigned comment from Missingno. Master (talkcontribs) 13:17, 14 November 2010 (UTC)
And that's the kind of deletion I was talking about... Remember, unless you find official artwork of it from before 2000, MissingNo is not a real Pokémon. --TruePikachu 18:47, 14 November 2010 (UTC)
P.S. You might want to keep it around. I came up with an idea for the first of April where it gets accepted.
