Shipping articles

When you create a Shipping article, you must use a shipping redirect. Take PokéShipping for example. Also, if you don't have the time to make more than one sentence in the article, you probably shouldn't create the article. Userspace limits

Hi. I noticed you have been editing the User: namespace a lot recently. Please don't do it any more, though. Bulbapedia's Userspace policy restricts the amount you can edit your userpage: no more than three edits per day. This policy was instated to prevent strain on our server, and also to promote people helping out in the mainspace. Bulbapedia is an encyclopedia, after all, so help us out by contributing to some articles before coming back to your personal userpage. Grammar

Please try to improve your grammar when contributing to articles. Names of people are always capitalized. The same goes for Pokémon. And Pokémon is always with a capital P and an acute "e". Not "pokemon". --ケンジのガール 22:02, 3 October 2010 (UTC)

Shipping hints

Also, please do not overly exaggerate Shipping hints. Ash and Iris were not trying to hug each while trying to escape from the hot water. And please don't add non-hints. Such as Iris and Ash relaxing in a hot spring together. He's done that with many of his friends. --ケンジのガール 22:15, 3 October 2010 (UTC)

Shipping articles pt deux

Okay, this might become a problem. I let people add to that list on the Project page, yes. However, they don't do it too often, and I like it like that. Because there aren't many 'ships that deserve articles (and some may never be articles). And usually, they ask me if they aren't sure if a 'ship could be an article or not. Now, a lot of the 'ships you're putting up are simply popular. I don't exercise my Leader status on other people's talk pages often...or ever, but, I'll say this: you're not exercising the best judgment when it comes to what /you/ think makes a good, possible article. Popular =/= grounds to make an article. No, it needs a solid basis in canon (something that Againstshipping does not have, for example). And I don't think you know how to recognize that, seeing what you've tried to add.

All in all, please don't add 'ships to the Project page anymore without asking me first, anymore. And chances are, if you ask me, I will ask YOU to explain why you think it should be added. It already links to the article on the Japanese wiki. Look in the "In other languages" section below the toolbox. Categories don't (and shouldn't) work across wikis. If people want the articles in the other wiki's categories, they'll look for it from the other site. Similarly, people trying to use the categories on here don't want to have to wade through the articles in other languages as well. Werdnae (talk) 04:10, 17 October 2010 (UTC)

If you did not read your last warning, then please read it now. You have edited the User: namespace too much. In the past, no one was allowed to edit their userpages because some users were over-editing their own userpages. Your personal editing privileges can be taken away, so please do not edit your page any more for now. Instead, how about helping contribute to some of Bulbapedia's many articles?
