User talk:UberPoke

Why was this page locked? I don't believe that this user is the same as the one creating all those multiple accounts. I'm not sure, since you didn't give a reason. Kevin Y (talk) 23:47, 22 May 2009 (UTC)

It is another account of Uber0wned, created just minutes after that one. --ケンジガール 23:50, 22 May 2009 (UTC)
On that subject, I've noticed lately some new users get blocked literally just MINUTES after registering for being sockpuppets. I can't help but wonder, how are all the sysops so sure? Missingno. Master wants YOU! Join the Order of the Glitch! (my talk page) 23:51, 22 May 2009 (UTC)
IP Adress I think.--ForceFire 23:53, 22 May 2009 (UTC)
I'd think it would be a very tedious task for the sysops to run checkusers on ALL of these new accounts, considering how many there are, but unfortunately that seems to be necessary. Kevin Y (talk) 23:54, 22 May 2009 (UTC)
It's called "Check user". Something that those of at least "Check user" status can have that others can't. These accounts in which the username is composed of two 5 letter non-words all share the same IP addresses. We've been watching this for over a day now. --ケンジガール 23:55, 22 May 2009 (UTC)

Re: Tail Whip

The Kangaskhan thing was already there first, and the articles on the episodes refer to each of the ones I described as a Tail Whip (and no, I didn't add that bit to the episode articles). What would you call it then? Remember in the anime attacks are different than in the games. If the Kangaskhan thing counts as a Tail Whip, the others sure do. I mean, can you expect Psyduck's "Tail Wag" to do any damage? As opposed to, say, Charmeleon?Ghostkaiba297 06:27, 23 May 2009 (UTC)

Wait, you left Kangaskhan up there? But its hitting enemies with its tail is no different from Charmeleon, Onix, Nidoking, Gyarados, and Dragonite! Why did you remove all the ones I added and yet leave Kangaskhan up there? Ghostkaiba297 06:33, 23 May 2009 (UTC)

I believe the Kangaskhan thing was named as Tail Whip by someone in the episode. The others are just speculation. No one said "Use Tail Whip". Therefore, it's unconfirmed.--ケンジガール 06:34, 23 May 2009 (UTC)
I know what it does in the games, but what exactly does it do in the anime? When used by a Pokemon other than Psyduck, that is? And the other "speculations" were identical to Kangaskhan.Ghostkaiba297 06:39, 23 May 2009 (UTC)
Well I removed Kangaskhan for now until someone can prove it was Tail Whip. And the only way to prove it is if a human character commanded or mentioned it. --ケンジガール 06:41, 23 May 2009 (UTC)
You didn't answer my question... also, the two Onix were wild Onix, and so was the Nidoking, and Ash's Charmeleon doesn't listen to him in any event, and the Gyarados was defending Nurse Joy from Team Rocket, so no attack was named. What would you call it then?Ghostkaiba297 06:43, 23 May 2009 (UTC)
They just hit them with their tail, But it's still not tail whip, It could be any moves involving a tail (Like Iron Tail).--ForceFire 06:57, 23 May 2009 (UTC)
Can I have a list of all tail-related attacks then? Like Tail Whip and Iron Tail? I'll see if I can't figure out which ones could apply to them. (Oh, and I haven't seen the Dragonite episode in a few weeks but I seem to remember either Drake or the announcer mentioning it... I could be wrong though, I'll check on it tomorrow) Ghostkaiba297 07:22, 23 May 2009 (UTC)
There's Aqua Tail, Tail Glow, Poison Tail, Tail Whip and Iron Tail.--ForceFire 07:28, 23 May 2009 (UTC)
While those moves FF mentioned are moves with title on its name, some other moves could be tail-related, such as Slam. Kevzo8 07:35, 23 May 2009 (UTC)
Hmmmm... Aqua Tail involves a spiral of water in the anime, Tail Glow just makes the tail glow, Poison Tail is more of a poison/slash attack and the tail also glows, and Iron Tail also has the tail glow, and the only tail I ever saw glow, ironically, was Psyduck when it seemed like it was going to evolve. And from what I can gather about Slam, they will wrap their tongue, tail, vine, etc. around the opponent and SLAM them on the ground. So... it doesn't seem as though any of them apply to the scenes with Charmeleon, Giant Onix, Crystal Onix, Pink Nidoking, Gyarados, and Drake's Dragonite, as far as I can tell the only one officially referred to as a Tail Whip in the anime is Psyduck, which in its case is more of a Tail Wag, but let's face it, its tail is so much smaller and weaker than Charmeleon's. The only way Psyduck can send Team Rocket blasting off (as many moves that have been "speculated" to be Tail Whips have done) is by using Confusion... Ghostkaiba297 07:48, 23 May 2009 (UTC)
For the time being, I've mentioned Kangaskhan, Charmeleon, Onix, Nidoking, Gyarados, and Dragonite in one paragraph, though until a decision can be made I've said that it is often speculated to be a tail whip and that there is no real evidence that that's what it actually is. Ghostkaiba297 08:00, 23 May 2009 (UTC)
Don't insert speculation on pages. Put it on the talk page, forums, or somewhere else. Kevzo8 08:03, 23 May 2009 (UTC)
I checked the Kangaskhan and Dragonite episodes, and no one mentioned the word "Tail Whip" at all. But isn't that a little strict, I mean, Harry Potter wiki had speculation on them before Deathly Hallows came out, didn't they? And Mario wiki too, not to mention Dragonball wiki. But let's all continue our debate/discussion (I think it's kinda a cross between the two) on the talkpage of Tail Whip from here on, how's that? Anyone wishing to join in this discussion can click the link and go to the talkpage. See ya there. Ghostkaiba297 17:40, 23 May 2009 (UTC)
Last time I checked, I was pretty sure this was Bulbapedia, not Harry Potter Wiki, Mario Wiki, or Dragonball Wiki. ~ solaris 17:41, 23 May 2009 (UTC)
(Copied from Talk:Tail Whip (move))
I think only when the trainer calls it out (or another trainer states that another Pokémon has used it) should count as it actually using it. As you say, many Pokémon have hit the opponent with its tail. However, the move Tail Whip does not cause damage and does not cause contact. Any case of a Pokémon hitting an opponent with its tail shouldn't be considered using this move for these reasons. Kevin Y (talk) 17:57, 23 May 2009 (UTC)

Black Arachnid's Meowth

When you have time, could you please update the Black Arachnid's Meowth custom sprite to Platinum? Thanks!--Tavisource 23:20, 23 May 2009 (UTC)

Gold (game)

Um, instead of "his female counterpart in HGSS is Soul", could we put in "he has a new female counterpart in the games"? Soul is just a name given to her by fans... --AT 01:34, 24 May 2009 (UTC)

Re: Userspace edits

I asked THE TROM, and I'll ask you: Can't I atleast update it so it's consistent with the current events of this site? Because an admin finally resolved the debate between PsychicRider and Hunter, and I'd like to update the "Crisis of Team Rocket's immortality" section about that... Ghostkaiba297 04:25, 24 May 2009 (UTC)

Update it to find out how wrong you are, and no, you are not allowed to edit it for 4 more days, got that? MaverickNate 04:27, 24 May 2009 (UTC)
An admin antagonizing other users? The rules of Bulbapedia sure differ from the rules of Dragonball wiki, there admins are not in a position to do that... anyway, I'm gonna take a long vacation from this site. I will return, and make a list of edits I'm gonna make to improve the wiki when I do, but for now, I'm gone. (pause, waiting for the other users to cheer, drink champagne, and declare a party to celebrate finally having gotten rid of the stupid nuisance who is the mortal enemy of PsychicRider and even an admin, who says stupid things, and who makes useful edits to some articles, like adding detailed synopsis when needed) Ghostkaiba297 05:41, 24 May 2009 (UTC)
Look. About a year ago, Bulbapedia locked down the userpages completely so that no one could edit them. This is because some users overly abused the userspace by making pages for riddles, games, and prizes. It was rediculous. We're talking about 100 edits a day. Some users just joined to abuse the userspace and contributed nothing of value. In July, we got it back. That's why we are so strict. So it won't happen again. The Dragonball Wiki probably didn't have this problem or otherwise they would have done it to. --ケンジガール 05:47, 24 May 2009 (UTC)
OK, but how does editing a userspace multiple times qualify as making pages for riddles, games, and prizes, if the edits don't involve any of them?
And about Dragonball Wiki, I meant that there an admin is not in a position to become enemies with a user. They can block or ban them, sure, but not become enemies, like me and PsychicRider. (Note to PsychicRider: You seemed really angry at me, even though I was trying to be nice to you and admit defeat on the immortality trivia debate, but if you do not consider us enemies, let me know, cause we seemed like we were starting to get along before the outcome of the debate was decided, and we got off to a slight misunderstanding of what TTE meant). On this site, apparently admins can become enemies with other users. Maverick Nate doesn't have a reason to block me or ban me yet, but he really seems to hate me, and I'm betting it's because we got off to a rocky start because I wasn't using epicodes, or maybe because of the immortality trivia debate... but since I understand both, can't he and I get along? Cause I REALLY don't want to be enemies with an admin. Ghostkaiba297 06:01, 24 May 2009 (UTC)
He kinda does have grounds to block you. On the grounds of talk abuse. You are editing talk pages way too much. We had a user by the name of SuperMax who only used Bulbapedia to use the talk feature and only pissed people off. That's why we have this rule.
We aren't here to make enemies with you. We have rules that we expect you to follow without question. If we say you shouldn't edit your userpage so much, then you probably shouldn't do it instead of keep asking "Why?". I gave you a reason. My point was that editing userpages all the time caused Bulbapedia to have a userpage lock down and we don't want it to happen again. You can wait until tomorrow to edit it again.
Admins may seem mean. But you can't take it personally. Day after day they have to put up with stupid crap from users and tend to get a little mean when the rules and guidelines they make are questioned. I didn't get it at first when I joined and made mistakes but I do now. It gets annoying. Sorry it has to be this way, but it's just how it is.
We are not the Dragonball Wiki. All wikis are different and have special rules. Please know that. --ケンジガール 06:39, 24 May 2009 (UTC)
I understand, and I also know that this site is not affiliated with Dragonball Wiki (Dragonball Wiki, Digimon Wiki, Horror Film wiki, etc. all use my same Ghostkaiba account, but I had to create an entirely new Ghostkaiba297 account for here. And with this message I'm not trying to excessively edit a talkpage, I'll see if I can make an edit to another page (but not Ash's Charizard, of course, that one has been protected by the admins for about a month or so), this is a relevant discussion. But now I see why you don't want the userpages edited too much, and from now on I'll edit the whole page instead of just specific sections. And I appreciate that he didn't block me, I know what to do differently next time. Ghostkaiba297 17:26, 26 May 2009 (UTC)

Hey

I Need that info! (Do NOT tell me to go to the forums (They are off-limits to me.))(Kmanecke 05:12, 26 May 2009 (UTC))

Well that's not my problem. You're not posting that on the talk page just so you can benefit from it. --ケンジガール 05:13, 26 May 2009 (UTC)
A little harsh, an idea where we would list every Pokémon by trainer encounter has been spoken about before. This is the reason why...to answer questions like these. MaverickNate 05:19, 26 May 2009 (UTC)
? Your sentence kinda doesn't make sense to me. --ケンジガール 05:23, 26 May 2009 (UTC)
