Yay, I have a User Talk page.

Munchlax's Dex entry says it is Area Unknown, yet it can be found (Extremely rarely) in honey trees. For the record:

a. Other honey tree Pokemon have all the honey tree locations, but Munchlax has Area Unknown.
b. Tangela and Tropius are said by many to be obtainable. I will find out myself.
c. Toxicroak: Found in the marsh, but couldn't catch. About as hard as Kangaskhan, and my that was hard. - Jonah 22:37, 30 July 2007 (UTC)

Additionally, to answer your question about Tropius and Tangela:

Tropius can be found, but is rare. Tangela, however, is found during a sawrm on the snowy top of Mt. Coronet. Babyg 20:14, 15 August 2007 (UTC)

Accented é and other things.

Ash is not Red. He is based on Red (That is, he's one of Red's counterparts) but he is not Red, and therefore details applying to Ash do not apply to Red. Does Ash have an Espeon? Is Red currently traveling in Sinnoh? NO. - Jonah 15:51, 13 August 2007 (UTC)

Pokémon Search

I saw that you added descriptions of Platinum-exclusive shows to the Jubilife TV page. Of particular note is Pokémon Search, which you described as being about "a research team [that] searches for either the red Gyarados, Lugia, or Ho-Oh.".

I've been told that the original red Gyarados report from Diamond and Pearl is retained in Platinum, though it is no longer part of the beginning of the game. I recently got Platinum and have been keeping an eye on the TV shows in hopes of seeing the report; I theorized that it would be activated by a certain event in the plot, so I constantly watched TV each time I obtained a badge or defeated Team Galactic. Today, after winning against Saturn in Lake Valor, I observed the news and was positively surprised to find the text I remembered from Diamond and Pearl. But I quickly came to realize that the subject of the report was the "Mysterious Flying Pokémon", rather than the red Gyarados. The fact that the Pokémon was said to drift in the sky (without causing destruction by merely fluttering its wings) suggested it was Ho-oh, although Lugia can't be ruled out altogether, either.

I am curious to know if you've run into a separate report that better fits Lugia's description. Also, do you remember at what point in the game you watched the red Gyarados report, and any of the other two, for that matter? I am trying to determine if their broadcast is indeed event-dependent, as opposed to being randomly chosen according to what day it is. It seems like too big a coincidence for the show to be broadcast right after an important event like the detonation of the Galactic Bomb, but I can't be certain based on my experience alone. --15:24, 2 May 2009 (UTC) Unown Lord
