== Preview Button (3)  ==
You have edited [[BW103]] a total of '''11''' times today alone, 5 of them in a row. You have several preview button warnings on your talkpage and they don't appear to be getting through. If you continue to make excessive edits to pages in the future, you'll be placed in a usergroup where you'll be forced to preview before saving any edits. Please try to do better at previewing in the future. Thank you. You've been told multiple times to use the preview button, and you've continued to make a number of consecutive edits to articles. You're now being forced to use the preview button before saving your edits. [[Typhlosion (Pokémon)|<span style="color:#C00;">★</span>]][[User:Jo The Marten|<span style="color:#C00;">Jo the Marten</span>]][[Flygon (Pokémon)|<span style="color:#C00;">★</span>]] [[User_Talk:Jo The Marten|<span style="color:#C00;">ಠ_ಠ</span>]][[Cilan (anime)|<span style="color:#90C870;">♥</span>]] 06:39, 30 November 2012 (UTC)
== Page Edits ==
I come to you just as a fellow user offering some advice, but try not to be so hasty when editing pages. Even in Forcepreview you still edit pages upwards of 3 times or more and in quick succession. When making a page edit the first time, really take advantage of Preview and look over the actual changes you've made. Have you tried the 'Show Changes' part of Preview? This could help you further look at what you changed and it may prevent you from adding redundant information such as [[Super Fang]] and noting Zebstrika's Double Edge in the anime. Take a deep breath and take your time on one edit instead of making several! [[User:Chicobo329|Chicobo329]] ([]) 20:17, 13 December 2012 (UTC)
== Unblocking Kotetsu's Bio ==
Hey, I wanted to make an edit on Kotetsu's page, but I'm blocked out. Is there anyway you or someone else could unblock it so I could make my edit? --[[User:Firered16|Firered16]] ([]) 03:16, 18 December 2012 (UTC)
:At the moment, it is protected to new users. If you become autoconfirmed, you could then edit it. For now though, you could just leave an edit request on [[Talk:Cameron (Unova)|the talk page]] or on a member's talk page. --[[User:Abcboy|Abcboy]] ([]) 03:22, 18 December 2012 (UTC)

Does it have any type of holofoil pattern on it? Or is it completely non holo? Would you be willing to take a high quality picture of it so that I can check to see if it is any different than what comes in Next Destinies packs? You probably know this by now but still, make sure you use the preview button to make sure your edits aren't riddled with simple errors like [http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/w/index.php?title=Trump_Card_(move)&curid=17430&diff=1828853&oldid=1828850&rcid=1949235 this one]. == Dive ==
When you uploaded an image of [[Conway]]'s {{p|Floatzel}} from the Pokémon Summer School using Dive, was the move actually commanded or it just swam underwater, which is different from using the move? I hadn't heard the command being stated when I watched the episode but I wanted your input as I may have missed out on something. == Manga moves ==
Alright, I feel I need to say this. Unless a move in any given manga is explicitly called out, it doesn't get added. Unlike the anime, where most moves are easily identifiable, a manga is far harder to tell, so don't assume. Also, not everything is a move. Just because something bites something doesn't make it {{m|Bite}}. [[User:Ataro|Ataro]] ([]) 12:41, 1 February 2013 (UTC)
:[http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/w/index.php?title=Twister_%28move%29&diff=1849731&oldid=1849644 I repeat:] just because something looks obvious doesn't mean it's confirmed. It's a black and white series of still images that consistently changes the appearance of its moves almost every time different Pokemon use them. == Your edits ==
I've noticed you have recently added unnamed moves and assumed that they are certain moves, even though it's against our (unwritten) policy, and you've been reverted by an Admin specialized in manga. If you continue that, I'll have to block you. Instead of edit-warring, you should discuss the issue on a talk page. Also, your latest edit summary is borderline against the {{bp|Code of conduct}}.--'''[[User:Dennou Zenshi|<font color="#AB0909">電</font><font color="#063A73">禅</font>]]<small>[]</small>''' 19:49, 20 February 2013 (UTC)

== Each/Teach on Pokemon Theme ==
Thanks for commenting on your edit revision. I made the edit because of verifiable proof from the English Dub author directly on what the lyrics should be. I wasn't able to find the Bulbapedia standards when it comes to verifiability of information, but I believe a primary source is ideal for putting the issue to rest? You mentioned that a larger amount of Google searches and Finnish lyrics conflict, however Google Searches are not verifiable, and Finnish is not related to the English dub. See my comment on the Pokemon Theme talk page for more information and to continue the discussion. [[User:Silivrenion|Silivrenion]] ([]) 21:36, 1 March 2013 (UTC)
== Edit summaries ==
Edit summaries are meant to be used for summarizing an edit, or leaving a small & friendly message to a user being reverted. They are not meant to be used for [http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/w/index.php?title=BW119&diff=1871995&oldid=1871994 complaining about other users actions]. Using edit summaries for such complaints is not acceptable, and can be considered a violation of the {{bp|code of conduct}}. If you have an issue with how a user is acting, you can nicely let them know what they're doing is wrong. If you feel that the {{bp|staff}} should do something, then nicely message a member of staff with your concerns. No more using edit summaries for that sort of thing, alright? - [[User:Kogoro|'''<span class="sc" style="color:#DA70D6;">Kogoro</span>''']] '''-''' [] - 12:00, 28 March 2013 (UTC)

== Some notes to improve your editing ==
There's {{tt|a link template|an app}} for that! Never <nowiki>[[EX Sandstorm (TCG)|EX Sandstorm]]. Always {{TCG|EX Sandstorm}}.</nowiki> Additionally, the set is named "POP Series 4/5/whatever". {{template|TCG ID}} is set up to work <nowiki>{{TCG ID|Set|Cardname|Card##}}. {{TCG ID|POP Series|Pikachu|4 13}} is incorrect (And rather confusing to look at).</nowiki>
That's all I've got for now. Although I may not like [[TCG move errors|that page]] the way it is now, it might as well follow standard. == Sinnoh Elite Four ==
I'm sorry to have to revert your edit to Flint, but you removed all of the DP information, and I can't copy-paste the code without messing up the formatting because the entire before-and-after revisions get copied to the clipboard instead of just the code like I want. I figured it would be easier for you to redo the party consolidation than it would be for me to try to copy-paste the DP information painstakingly line-by-line. Also, please note that in your party consolidations, you're neglecting to note differences in reward money. Please be more careful as you continue your work. Just so you know, alternate capitalizations like "Watering Cans" for [[Watering cans]] don't need to be redirected, since the wiki can search those on its own just fine already. Making a redirect just makes people who type the wrong capitalization go through an unnecessary redirect, and may encourage bad links. :Just like you ad any other Pokémon. The you simply need to ad the Pokémon's name, Pokédex number, level, possible held item, and gender, and that's it. Just look at how it's done there. == Quotes and "player" ==
I started a discussion on [[Talk:Looker]] where we/anyone may discuss the majority of the content you have issue with on Looker/Emma. However, there is a small thing that is probably easier to address separately: how you keep trying to change the capitalization of "player". Please do not change it; as I tried to communicate in an edit summary before, they are correct, and your changes are wrong. A sentence should always start with a capital letter, and your changes to "player" are (always, as far as I noticed) making sentences start with a lowercase letter instead. So I ask that you please not try to redo that. [[User:Tiddlywinks|Tiddlywinks]] ([]) 09:00, 12 February 2015 (UTC)
:Understood. I will stop the "un-capitalization" in case it's not necessary. --[[User:FinnishPokéFan92|FinnishPokéFan92]] ([]) 09:05, 12 February 2015 (UTC)
== Switches in Vermilion Gym ==
Hi. Regarding [//bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net?diff=2248717 switches proximity] in [[Vermilion Gym]], I'm afraid I have no proof, only experience. Last night I challenged that gym in Red version, and after some tries I found the first switch in the top right can and the second switch in the top left can. That's why I supposed that it isn't true that the second switch is always located right next to the first one. == Cooltrainer Nick replying ==
Good afternoon! I removed the trainer rematches section because they were only on 2 routes and those 2 were incomplete. It didn't have all the trainers and all their rematches. So I though it was pointless since one can see them in their respective trainer page. Someone could create a complete rematches section and that would be all right. == "Being defeated" ==
I've mentioned before [] that I don't consider "Being defeated" satisfactory.... Yet [http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/w/index.php?title=Aarune&curid=194310&diff=2263941&oldid=2263522 you've] manually reverted the "Upon being defeated" that I had written on [[Aarune]], just because (paraphrasing) "That's how everywhere else does it", which doesn't in any way address the issue I gave in my edit summary. As the saying goes, just because all of your friends jump off a bridge, does that mean you will too? "Everywhere else" may use "Being defeated", but "Being defeated" is unsatisfactory.
So let me ask... Can you agree to leave my change of "Upon being defeated" alone? Or would you suggest I do something like go through all (non-TC and non-Mystery Dungeon) 650 or so {{cat|Game characters}} pages and change "Being defeated" to "Upon being defeated" everywhere, just so that "everywhere" agrees? (Of course, if that's what I want to do, I should probably consult a staff member first, which'll probably just end up with me pursuing a decree that "Upon being defeated" is preferable.) == Ash's Fletchling's Ability ==
How is Ash's Fletchling's Ability unconfirmed? It evolved into a Fletchinder with Flame Body. Fletchinder with Flame Body can only evolve from Fletchling with Big Pecks. It can't be Gale Wings, because Gale Wings is the Fletchling family's Hidden Ability, and a Pokémon can't switch between any of its normal Abilities with it's Hidden Ability or vice versa. --[[User:PKMNAdventurer|PKMNAdventurer]] ([]) 04:01, 27 July 2015 (UTC)
:I just figured since it was never said out loud, it can't be considered as "confirmed". And besides, Ash's Swadloon's Ability was never confirmed, although Sewaddle and Leavanny's was. --[[User:FinnishPokéFan92|FinnishPokéFan92]] ([]) 09:24, 27 July 2015 (UTC)
== Ethan/Gold, default ==
I'm sorry I've reverted your reversion straight away, but your reasoning just does not address any of the issues (IMO). Let's discuss it here.
You said {{ga|Ethan}} was commonly known as "Gold" before HGSS. I'm not going to argue that, but the issue is, the page claimed that the male player character is known "by default" as "Gold". This implies something official, not just "common", and AFAIK "Gold" is nowhere in the game (or even on the box, as the male PC's name).
Second, you say that "Chris" doesn't sound like a male name. As a matter of fact, if you ask me, upon hearing "Chris", my first thought will always be a man, not a woman. More importantly, though, (no offense, but) your opinion isn't really important. Just as I wrote, "Chris" appears when you start a new game in Crystal and the game asks you to choose a name as the first suggested name (see also [[Ethan (game)#Optional names]], the Crystal row).
If you wish to remove that parenthetical entirely, that may be alright, but if we're just comparing my edit and the version before, then I strongly believe my edit is more correct. [[User:Tiddlywinks|Tiddlywinks]] ([]) 04:41, 19 September 2015 (UTC)
== Ecruteak City Gym ==
The article I wrote was '''not''' a direct copy-paste. Compare what I posted with what is written in the gym page and you will see the difference. I added some stuff there that wasn't in the gym page, only just that the new stuff wouldn't hold much meaning without the basic stuff that was already covered in the main gym page, so I copied the basic stuff from there. -[[User:Ishu bagaria|Ishu bagaria]] ([]) 06:27, 24 September 2015 (UTC)
==Heads up for BW Adventures==
Just to let you know Viz once again changed the titles for the volume version of the final BW chapters that are different from the mini-volumes. One thing to note is that PS519's title is now the same of PS517 (which I examined both this and the previous volume to be sure). Anyway check out the final six entries on [
] to get up to speed on the new titles (some were preserved but moved to a different chapter). -[[User:Tyler53841|Tyler53841]] ([]) 14:10, 8 October 2015 (UTC)

Hello, FinnishPokéFan92.  I would like to make a request about your userspace page, [[User:FinnishPokéFan92/YouTube Trainers]], as it is creating redlinks that show up on [[Special:WantedTemplates]].  It is calling Template:Color light and Template:Color dark for some reason.  While Special:WantedTemplates one of the [[Special:SpecialPages]] reports and falls under [[Bulbapedia:Userspace_policy#Other_users.27_pages|the Userspace policy exception on making edits to another userspace]], I think that you understand the templates used and can adjust the page better than I can do to remove the redlinks.  If you feel that this request is unreasonable, please let me know.  --[[User:Super goku|Super goku]] ([]) 21:53, 18 October 2015 (UTC)

== Colo/XD data ==
I know you are and have been going through Colosseum/XD pages for a while cleaning things up and such. I was wondering if you might have any interest on taking on a similar task (that might end up being quite a bit of work). I have data for teams/moves from the Colo/XD games that I've always wanted to check against our pages, but I doubt I'm going to get around to it any time at all soon, so it occurred to me to ask if that might be something you'd like to work on yourself? (I'm talking stuff like [http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/w/index.php?title=Biden&diff=2347356&oldid=2291361 this].) I should even be able to process my data enough to actually make up the templates appropriately, so pretty much all you'd have to do is check pages here and copy-paste whatever needs it. : Sounds good to me. Let's get to it! I should be able to use my laptop tomorrow, so I can start then. --[[User:FinnishPokéFan92|FinnishPokéFan92]] ([]) 16:46, 23 October 2015 (UTC)
::It'll actually take me some (unknown) amount of time still, if I'm gonna try to turn my data into template code. Even if you're okay without that much, I still need a moderate amount of time to process the data a bit to be more user-friendly (basically, right now I've got lists of Trainers and lists of Pokemon, and you have to go back and forth between the two). For now, I'll aim for turning the data into template code, unless you wanna say otherwise. As an estimate, I'd say it shouldn't take a week (the weekend may turn out to be plenty, really). Sorry

I am really sorry about the Headbutt article. I just remebered I made an oppsies and thought I already wrote Arbok in headbutt when i didn't. I feel stupid now for deleting your edit, im sorry. Littlmiget123 22:10, 4 November 2009 (UTC)

I dunno, it kinda looked like an extra tackle to me, but Jessie doesn't give a command. Arbok can't learn tackle in its movesets, so it might have just been a way 2 get Jolteon out of the way. Anyways, i watch the pokemon episodes on Megavideo, that's how i get my data. Littlmiget123 16:49, 6 November 2009 (UTC)

Megavideo is a place where you can watch videos, kinds like youtube except theres no 10 minute limit for videos. Unfortunetly, you can only watch about 53-76 minutes per day, and once you get a message saying that, you have to wait an hour to watch more. Theres a guy on there i think his username is anthony007 or sumthin, he has all the pokemon eps. I love the images u uploaded onto your userpage, how did u upload them? Littlmiget123 16:56, 6 November 2009 (UTC)

Nah, I had no idea. But how did you get the images from serebii? Littlmiget123 17:11, 6 November 2009 (UTC)

Hi

I noticed you have been editing the User: namespace a lot recently. You may not be aware of this, but Bulbapedia has a Userspace policy that asks users to try and minimize the number of userspace edits they make in a short period of time. Heavy editing of these personal pages can put undue stress on the server, so please leave your page alone for now and go help out in the mainspace. Bulbapedia is an encyclopedia, after all, so please help us to complete it! If you edit the mainspace more often, you will be allowed to edit your userpage more often too. Thanks! --Porygon-Z 19:00, 10 November 2009 (UTC)

Response

I watched the episode, and Lt. Surge told Raichu to use Thunderpunch, that why I put it back up. It looked like a Mega punch, but he said thunderpunch, so... ya.

And to your edits to Heracross, you were right, but Ash caught his Chikorita on Route 29. I wuz kinda surprised when you asked me questions becuz im not an admin? Littlmiget123 19:27, 10 November 2009 (UTC)

Oh, nah its all good, i wuz just wonderin y u asked me of all people, lol. if you ever have questions, i'll try my best to answer them. :D Littlmiget123 19:40, 10 November 2009 (UTC)

Uh, ya i no that shininpikablu was right, i wuz kinda havin an off day yesterday, tryin to finish up a chapter on my story on fanfiction, so I wasnt really payin attention to what i wuz typin, im sry. and i will get on the other anime templates as well, just once i reach them in the show, a lot of the attacks on here are kinda sloppy, not thought out and sometimes wrong, so i plan on doing that soon. Also, I was watching the english version, i hate subtitles, and i only speak english, and a tiny bit of spanish, plus the dub aint so bad. It could have been me, but i remember thinking 'wow he said thunderpunch but it looks like a mega punch.' i dunno. Littlmiget123 16:07, 11 November 2009 (UTC)

Red's Pokemon

can you provide any proof of the nicknames you added to Red's Krabby, Sandshrew, and Diglett? Those nicks have been removed in the past because none of us remember seeing them anywhere. What's your source? If you just saw it on Serebii, that's not proof enough... --electAbuzzzz 14:02, 12 November 2009 (UTC)

Those are scanlations. Not official translations. Unless either Viz or Chuang Yi gave them nicknames - they don't have any. Neither me, CP, Maxim or a few others remember such nicknames in any official translation. --electAbuzzzz 08:35, 13 November 2009 (UTC)

Moi!

Satun tuntemaan yhden Pokémonin kääntäjistä, joten kuulen häneltä aina välillä tietoa ;3 Autan häntä lisäksi kääntämisessä~ 12.kautta ollaan parhaillaan kääntämässä ja 12.elokuva on käännetty lokakuussa. Oletko muuten Bulbapedian foorumeilla?

spoiler links

In episode articles, manga rounds, and book articles, if a Pokémon has evolved but hasn't evolved as of that episode, it links to the pre-evolution's page to avoid spoilers so Please don't change them to what the pages are now. Turtwig A (talk | contribs) 21:40, 18 November 2009 (UTC)

Oy... you said yourself this only applies to manga rounds, episode articles, and book articles only. That was a move page... ht14 22:59, 18 November 2009 (UTC)
No, it was a book page. It was Coal Badge Battle. Turtwig A (talk | contribs) 23:01, 18 November 2009 (UTC)
Ok, I didn't see that, but I'm talking about a move, such as Faint Attack and Stomp. This user is misinterpreting it... ht14 23:03, 18 November 2009 (UTC)

I did it so that it would be less data for the page to take, and I saw other people doing it. It doesn't really matter, when they click on the page, its going to be seen. Littlmiget123 23:08, 18 November 2009 (UTC)

We've been discussing this for quite some time, and you're butting in with a similar but different topic... ht14 23:11, 18 November 2009 (UTC)

Re: Toxics, Tails, and Wrapping

Alright, well, Ash's Pikachu never used Slam or Tail Whip, otherwise I would have put it up, so the article is wrong. People sometimes put up false information on the Trainer's Pokemon's articles. Jessie's Arbok first uses Wrap attack in the Legend of Dratini on the old man. James's Weezing never uses Toxic attack, that's just a smokescreen from the pics. And finally, Ash's Bulbasaur and Heracross never use Take Down. Or at least Ash nevers tells them to. They could have used them in later episodes, like during Battle Frontier in Kanto, but I am not there yet. I hope that answers all your questions! Littlmiget123 02:17, 27 November 2009 (UTC)

lol, i dont mind the questions at all. Anyways, Jessie's Lickitung has never used Bind, just wrap. Her Arbok has never used slam, but her Lickitung has? Yes, Pikachu does use tackle on occation, but since it cannot learn that move, i don't put it up there (like it says on the article, it could be just an extra command to inflict damage). If you have any more, please dont hesitate to ask. Littlmiget123 17:08, 27 November 2009 (UTC)
Lick? I don't think its ever done that, but i'm only still at Take this House and Shuppet so it might have used it in the future. I don't know about glare, also. But i have seen most episodes of Pokemon, and i don't remember seviper ever using them? And the may article is awesome, excellent job, it looks really well. Littlmiget123 19:05, 27 November 2009 (UTC)
No Pokemon has ever used Poisonpowder in the anime, probably so they don't have to show poison. And I am only at AG082, but so far Torchic has not used Growl, but i don't think that it does. Yes, that was Flamethrower, so you can put it up. And I'm still dunno about Arbok's Headbutt becuz of my mistake, so my guess is as good as yours. And the Meowth attack, that is fury swipes, i guess i have to change that on fury swipes article. I hope that answers your questions. Littlmiget123 18:08, 28 November 2009 (UTC)

Harden

Oh yeah, sry. Jessie's Cascoon uses Harden in Seeing is Believing, but May's Silcoon never uses it. Littlmiget123 18:20, 28 November 2009 (UTC)

May's Beautifly uses Gust. Its Jessie's Dustox that uses Whirlwind. Littlmiget123 18:57, 28 November 2009 (UTC)

Re: Lots of More Questions

Okay, let's begin :D. James's Victreebel never used Slam, or Tackle (well, it did use tackle, but it can't learn it, so it was just an extra command to do damage). The first time Ash's Heracross uses Megahorn was The ties that bind, so that's right. It was also the first time it used Fury Swipes. Bring on the rest, I'll be waiting :D. Littlmiget123 18:08, 9 December 2009 (UTC)

Okay. Ash's Totodile first used Leer in Playing with Fire. Thank you for pointing that out, becuz I think I might have acidetly skipped totodile when I was doing the anime templete for it. Pidgeotto has never used tackle attack, and yes, Pineco first used Spikes in Ariados Amigos. Horsea never used water gun attack as well, and Corsola used all of its moves on its debut episode, excluding Bubblebeam which it only used in Pokemon Heroes. Got any more? James's Koffing never used Tackle, but its evolution weezing did on its debut episode (Dig those Diglett). About Jessie's Arbok, u meant Ekans right? For Ekans hadn't evolved until like 11 episodes later. But Ekans first used Wrap in The path to the Pokemon League. It never uses Bind. And the first time Ekans uses Dig is Ash Catches a Pokemon. Do you have more? Littlmiget123 14:56, 10 December 2009 (UTC)
Yes, the first time it used Haze was the evolution solution. It never used it as a Koffing. If you have any more questions, I'll be here. Littlmiget123 17:22, 10 December 2009 (UTC)
Cacnea first used Needle Arm in A mudkip mission. Cacnea had little screen time during A Poached Ego, so it only used Pin missile. Littlmiget123 18:52, 10 December 2009 (UTC)
For Bonsly, I have no idea since I'm only at AG112, but I can't remember it using Faint Attack. Just don't take my word for that one. James's Koffing used smog for the first time in Pokemon Emergency, and Weezing first used smog in Dig those Diglett. And yes, Misty's Goldeen first used horn drill in just add water. Now a question 4 u

I have a question that I need help with. I don't think it has, but do you know if Team Rocket's Meowth has ever used slash attack? I think that it hasn't, but I'm not sure, do you know? Littlmiget123 21:58, 15 December 2009 (UTC)

Pokémon Adventures

I have only read it online on the onemanga website, and only up to like, the latest chapter since they stopped putting them up. So i know as much about it as you do. Why? - unsigned comment from Littlmiget123 (talkcontribs)

I just read the chapter, it looks like double team, but it could have been an ice beam that was sculpted to look like poli? Idk, anything's possible in that manga. Bayleef did first use headbutt in playing with fire. I don't know much about Gary's Blastoise. It did use withdraw in can't beat the heat, but that's the only appearence its made so far with my episodes (I'm on AG143 right now). But you can be sure when I watch Ill-Will Hunting, that everything will be written down on the attack's articles. If you have any more questions, I'll be here. Littlmiget123 18:44, 21 December 2009 (UTC)

Re: Is it true?

Alright, I'll try my best to answer them all.

 • Tracey's Venonat has never used Supersonic.
 • Ash's Pikachu never used Headbutt, the beginning of the third movie was just like a way to hurt Quagsire since Electric attacks wouldn't work on it.
 • Brock's Onix first uses Sandstorm in Entei at your own risk (EP259).
 • So far, Jessie's Wobbuffet hasn't used safeguard, and I don't think it has, either.
 • Gary's Eevee first used take down in EP116 (The Rivalry Revivial), but has never used it (thus far) as an Umbreon.
 • Harrison's Blaziken has never used Double Kick.
 • The only attack that Bruno's Onix has ever used is Tackle, so it never used Rock Throw or Slam.
 • I don't know if Cynthia's Garchomp has ever used flamethrower? I haven't really watched much of Pokemon Diamond and Pearl, and I've haven't seen the Arceus movie yet. That's the only question I'm not sure about.
Okay, I hope that answered them all. Littlmiget123 16:51, 22 December 2009 (UTC)
Alright, here are the kinda answers for the next set of answers.
 • Hmm... are you sure Victreebel didn't use Vine Whip during that? Maybe that was one I forgot to write down? I'm not sure myself about James's Victreebel?
 • So far, may's squirtle has not used withdraw, but I'll put it on the article once it does.
 • I don't think so, I think it was just... flopping around, I mean, it is a fish out of water? A fish ain't going to do anything? Sorry I couldn't give you better answers like I normally do. Also, merry christmas to you back. I we don't get christmas until friday, and in my family, christmas eve is a way for my parents to torture the kids by putting the presents under the trees. Fanfics

Hey there. You may have been previously unaware that Bulbapedia has a total ban on all fanfiction material. Unfortunately, you've got three subpages that are fanfic in nature. Specifically, these are User:FinnishPokéFan92/My own Trainers, User:FinnishPokéFan92/Ashchu comics, and User:FinnishPokéFan92/Nortikka. While we allow users to document their own progress through the game, when it extends to characterization it crosses a line. If you wish to write fanfiction, please use the Bulbagarden Library. These pages will eventually be deleted, but you are welcome to retrieve any information off them first. Just let me know. Thanks. —darklordtrom 22:53, 12 March 2010 (UTC)

I noticed yo recently edited the page User:FinnishPokéFan92/My own Trainers recently. As stated above, this page counts as fanfiction material, and it violates the userspace policy. It should be removed as soon as possible.--PhantomJunkie 18:57, 29 July 2010 (UTC)

Yay! I've finally caught up on the anime episodes (*does a happy dance*), so I'll finally be able to move onto the manga movesets now. Also, I was the edit you made on Safeguard, and I'm sorry about that, that was completely my fault. Littlmiget123 18:17, 28 April 2010 (UTC)

Hey, I don't want to start an editing war, so I just thought we could talk things through here. Pika uses Surf, but it just morphs its Substitute, which doesn't actually make it Surf. Plus, Pikachu can't really learn it anyways other than through special conditions. If you disagree still, what about Chuchu's Fly? What are we going to put, 'Pikachu ties balloons around its waist and takes to the skies'? If Pika surfs using Substitute, then that means that all Pokemon are able to do that. It's like a variation on the attack, just like how Dawn uses Flame Ice, but it isn't really an attack? Littlmiget123 14:10, 4 May 2010 (UTC)
Just to be clear, let me just say that I'm not trying to be negative. I hate how the internet shows no emotions, because then you'll see I'm trying to be as friendly I can be, but still get the facts straight. Plus, this is a serious wiki, and if feelings get hurt, nothing can be done about it. Strictly buisness is how I see this place, and it is also how I do my work, perfect or nothing at all. And your PS statement, I really want to say thank you. That really brightened my day. Also, don't be down. I consider you a good friend here on the wiki, so don't think that I'm, how you say, 'out to get you'? Because I'm not, lol.
Okay, now to buisness. In You know Articuno, Misty uses her Starmie to get across the water. However, it is floating above the water, so it isn't technically using Surf, nor Fly, just using its Psychic powers to float across the water. I realize that many different sources say that Pika uses Surf, but the substitute just pushes the water away from it. That would mean that all Pokemon are able to use Surf then. If a Voltorb learned Substitute, would it know Surf, then? *sigh* Thinking into the future, it looks like I'm going to have to give this up. Even if I do win this battle, some other person is going to come along and this is going to start all over again. I still do not think that Pika is using Surf, because it is like a contest move, using one move to be like another. However, I think I'll head over to surf and type in my variation, is that alright? Littlmiget123 15:25, 4 May 2010 (UTC)
So, I've been thinking about this for a while now. I know you'll hate to bring up old demons, but I still don't think that Pikachu should be put up on surf. The point of the moveset boxes is to describe the way the Pokemon uses the move. The Pokemon, as in not just one. Not all Pikachu are going to know the move Substitute, especially. I was thinking you should add a 'Moves improvised' section on Pika's page, and add it there. What do you think? Also, I'll probably add in the Substitute description box for Pikachu that it can form the substitute any way it wants. Littlmiget123 18:08, 23 October 2010 (UTC)
Okay. Thanks for understanding! ^^ I'll do those right now. Littlmiget123 18:27, 23 October 2010 (UTC)
I guess, but Heatran was shown using the move. Getting a Pikachu using Surf is possible, but in the manga, it's just like a Counter-shield or Ice Chandalier-like move in my opinion. Littlmiget123 18:43, 23 October 2010 (UTC)

Alright, I feel I need to say this. Unless a move in any given manga is explicitly called out, it doesn't get added. Pumpkinking0192 (talk) 06:32, 24 October 2013 (UTC)

Sorry. I didn't mean to do that. I was just so excited to finally make those edits that I negleted to notice some important details. Thank you for notcing me and fixing the mistakes. --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 06:34, 24 October 2013 (UTC)
If you want to do something as major as this, you must discuss it first in the talk page (and get an approval from on admin) rather than just doing it. --ForceFire 07:00, 24 October 2013 (UTC)
I'm sorry. I just didn't see anything wrong with doing this: their movesets were identical, and besides, the same mechanic of uniting similar templates has been used on other pages as well. But OK, if you say so, I won't start fighting against windmills. Could you be so kind as to tell me where I could leave my suggestion for these edits? --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 07:03, 24 October 2013 (UTC)
Any talk page you deem appropriate. Also, non XY related pages shouldn't really get "updated" yet as the XY stuff is far from complete.--ForceFire 07:11, 24 October 2013 (UTC)

Fact checking

Please make sure you're up to date with a story before adding something like this. Both of these scenes take place days from each other and are different battles. Ataro (talk) 11:02, 23 February 2014 (UTC)

Psyshock

Hi there, I just want to inform you that the Staff is currently still in deliberation about Serena's Fennekin using Psyshock, since the move was not directly called out in the episode. Unless the Staff decides to add it regardless of that, do not re-add it. Thank you and happy editing! ☼ BlazingFist ☼ 18:43, 27 March 2014 (UTC)

Thanks And Sorry!

Thanks for undoing that mistake of mine, I did not see the in the next passage of text; so my apologies, I need to read the whole thing next time, and then think before I edit. Zallaraxium (talk) 19:29, 14 April 2014 (UTC)

Wait...

Tierno's Roserade seriously has only Petal Dance? They seriously programmed only that? Eridanus (talk) 13:58, 21 August 2014 (UTC)

According to what I've heard, yes, that is Roserade's only move, as crazy as it may sound. --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 14:01, 21 August 2014 (UTC)

About the names stuff...

It's dangerous to edit alone! Use this! Eridanus (talk) 16:28, 27 September 2014 (UTC)

Why, thanks you! I'll be sure to use it in the future! :) --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 16:48, 27 September 2014 (UTC)

Bianca's Emboar

Moves

Hey, I noticed you added some party Pokémon's moves. Are these moves in the correct order? I've been getting moves with Ditto, and I need to know if it's worthwhile checking these again for the order. --SnorlaxMonster 17:55, 2 December 2014 (UTC) Ah, okay. I've found that a lot of those entries are missing moves altogether. I'm not sure why. --SnorlaxMonster 18:00, 2 December 2014 (UTC)

Hi

hi, is it okay if I help you on this article, since it hasn't been edited at all since 2013, If you decided to stop doing it then okay, early thanks. User:FinnishPokéFan92/Adventures Pokémon teams

User:Animaltamer710:09, 15 December 2014 (UTC)

Sure, feel free to help. --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 10:40, 15 December 2014 (UTC)
PS. Your writing is a bit off, you should work on that too.

Blue's Exeggutor

Where did you get the idea that Blue's Exeggutor in Red/Blue/Green knows the move Barrier? Exeggutor has not been able to learn the move in any game to date and the previously listed moveset of Barrage / Hypnosis / Stomp was in line with Exeggutor's Generation 1 level up movepool. Deoxys's Teleport

I'm sure you have the Japanese version of Pokémon Adventures volume 24. The English version of It Takes Patience, Knowledge and a Really Quick Beedrill mentioned that Deoxys used Teleport to dodge Giovanni's Aggron's attack but the Japanese version doesn't mention the move's Japanese name. Do you know if Deoxys's officially used Teleport or it just simply dodged the attack as Japanese triumphs over English usually? PattyMan 03:27, 6 January 2015 (UTC)

To be honest with you, I only own the VIZ Media translation. I only own directly Japanese-based versions of the three first volumes right now, but I have found VIZ Media's translations pretty well reliable, definitely more so than Chuang Yi's translations for example. --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 07:26, 6 January 2015 (UTC)
Oh ok. I don't trust much of Chuang Yi's translations either anyway. PattyMan 23:27, 6 January 2015 (UTC)

Pokemon Youtubuers

Serebii

You should know this by now. Do NOT use Serebii as a source, as they are a fansite. And do NOT take information from Serebii, as that is stealing.--ForceFire 12:02, 12 January 2015 (UTC)

Redirect capitalizations

Just so you know, alternate capitalizations like "Watering Cans" for Watering cans don't need to be redirected, since the wiki can search those on its own just fine already. (For example, search for "List of In-Game Trades" and you'll end up at List of in-game trades.) Making a redirect just makes people who type the wrong capitalization go through an unnecessary redirect, and may encourage bad links. Tiddlywinks (talk) 14:16, 28 January 2015 (UTC)

My bad. I'll keep that in mind. --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 14:18, 28 January 2015 (UTC)

Rematches

On this page [[1]], it says you can rematch Guitarist Dalton and he will have a explode and a magneton. He actually also has a chatot. How do I use the template to add that in?

Thanks, --Hi :) 00:45, 5 February 2015 (UTC) - unsigned comment from RockinJack18 (talkcontribs)

Just like you ad any other Pokémon. The you simply need to ad the Pokémon's name, Pokédex number, level, possible held item, and gender, and that's it. Just look at how it's done there. Besides, yiu can have multiple rematches. Make sure you don't mix up one rematch team with another. --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 05:51, 5 February 2015 (UTC)
For some reason, when I battled him again, all of his pokemon were level 48, his magneton evolved, and he has a chatot. Is this the wrong rematch? --User:RockinJack18 is awesome 11:54, 5 February 2015 (UTC)
I guess that was his final rematch team, then. Trainers tend to have four rematches each. --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 12:51, 5 February 2015 (UTC)

Quotes and "player"

I started a discussion on Talk:Looker where we/anyone may discuss the majority of the content you have issue with on Looker/Emma. Tiddlywinks (talk) 09:00, 12 February 2015 (UTC)

Understood. I will stop the "un-capitalization" in case it's not necessary. --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 09:05, 12 February 2015 (UTC)

Switches in Vermilion Gym

Hi. Regarding switches proximity in Vermilion Gym, I'm afraid I have no proof, only experience. Last night I challenged that gym in Red version, and after some tries I found the first switch in the top right can and the second switch in the top left can. That's why I supposed that it isn't true that the second switch is always located right next to the first one. Allan Aguilar (talk) 19:37, 12 February 2015 (UTC)

Cooltrainer Nick replying

Good afternoon! I removed the trainer rematches section because they were only on 2 routes and those 2 were incomplete. It didn't have all the trainers and all their rematches. So I though it was pointless since one can see them in their respective trainer page. Someone could create a complete rematches section and that would be all right. Cooltrainer Nick 13:50, 20 February 2015 (UTC)

"Being defeated"

I've mentioned before before that I don't consider "Being defeated" satisfactory.... Yet you've manually reverted the "Upon being defeated" that I had written on Aarune, just because (paraphrasing) "That's how everywhere else does it", which doesn't in any way address the issue I gave in my edit summary. As the saying goes, just because all of your friends jump off a bridge, does that mean you will too? "Everywhere else" may use "Being defeated", but "Being defeated" is unsatisfactory.

So let me ask... Can you agree to leave my change of "Upon being defeated" alone? Or would you suggest I do something like go through all (non-TC and non-Mystery Dungeon) 650 or so Game characters pages and change "Being defeated" to "Upon being defeated" everywhere, just so that "everywhere" agrees? (Of course, if that's what I want to do, I should probably consult a staff member first, which'll probably just end up with me pursuing a decree that "Upon being defeated" is preferable.) Tiddlywinks (talk) 11:17, 27 March 2015 (UTC)

Sigh... I don't know. I'm just that kind of guy who doesn't easily change his way of doing certain things he's gotten used to. Do whatever you want, but I can tell you one thing: I hate incosistency. A lot. --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 11:48, 27 March 2015 (UTC)

Title Change

In case you don't know yet, the Black and White chapter "Cold Hard Truth" was changed to "True Friends" for the regular volumes of Pokémon Adventures Black and White. -Tyler53841 (talk) 13:21, 8 July 2015 (UTC)

Thanks for the info. --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 14:05, 8 July 2015 (UTC)
Already made the appropriate changes to help reduce confusion, but it should help if you get a chance to expand the Timeline page for the Black and White section. -Tyler53841 (talk) 14:17, 8 July 2015 (UTC)
I'll see what I can do. --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 14:28, 8 July 2015 (UTC)

Ash's Fletchling's Ability

How is Ash's Fletchling's Ability unconfirmed? It evolved into a Fletchinder with Flame Body. Fletchinder with Flame Body can only evolve from Fletchling with Big Pecks. It can't be Gale Wings, because Gale Wings is the Fletchling family's Hidden Ability, and a Pokémon can't switch between any of its normal Abilities with it's Hidden Ability or vice versa. --PKMNAdventurer (talk) 04:01, 27 July 2015 (UTC)

I just figured since it was never said out loud, it can't be considered as "confirmed". And besides, Ash's Swadloon's Ability was never confirmed, although Sewaddle and Leavanny's was. --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 09:24, 27 July 2015 (UTC)

Ethan/Gold, default

I'm sorry I've reverted your reversion straight away, but your reasoning just does not address any of the issues (IMO). Let's discuss it here.

You said Ethan was commonly known as "Gold" before HGSS.

Just as I wrote, "Chris" appears when you start a new game in Crystal and the game asks you to choose a name as the first suggested name (see also Ethan (game)#Optional names, the Crystal row).

If you wish to remove that parenthetical entirely, that may be alright, but if we're just comparing my edit and the version before, then I strongly believe my edit is more correct. Tiddlywinks (talk) 04:41, 19 September 2015 (UTC)

Ecruteak City Gym

The article I wrote was not a direct copy-paste. Compare what I posted with what is written in the gym page and you will see the difference. I added some stuff there that wasn't in the gym page, only just that the new stuff wouldn't hold much meaning without the basic stuff that was already covered in the main gym page, so I copied the basic stuff from there. -Ishu bagaria (talk) 06:27, 24 September 2015 (UTC)

Heads up for BW Adventures

Just to let you know Viz once again changed the titles for the volume version of the final BW chapters that are different from the mini-volumes. One thing to note is that PS519's title is now the same of PS517 (which I examined both this and the previous volume to be sure). Anyway check out the final six entries on the list of rounds to get up to speed on the new titles (some were preserved but moved to a different chapter). -Tyler53841 (talk) 14:10, 8 October 2015 (UTC)

Userspace Request

Hello, FinnishPokéFan92. I would like to make a request about your userspace page, User:FinnishPokéFan92/YouTube Trainers, as it is creating redlinks that show up on Special:WantedTemplates. It is calling Template:Color light and Template:Color dark for some reason. While Special:WantedTemplates one of the Special:SpecialPages reports and falls under the Userspace policy exception on making edits to another userspace, I think that you understand the templates used and can adjust the page better than I can do to remove the redlinks. If you feel that this request is unreasonable, please let me know. --Super goku (talk) 21:53, 18 October 2015 (UTC)

No, I don't mind, but thanks for letting me know. --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 04:30, 19 October 2015 (UTC)

Colo/XD data

I know you are and have been going through Colosseum/XD pages for a while cleaning things up and such. I was wondering if you might have any interest on taking on a similar task (that might end up being quite a bit of work). I have data for teams/moves from the Colo/XD games that I've always wanted to check against our pages, but I doubt I'm going to get around to it any time at all soon, so it occurred to me to ask if that might be something you'd like to work on yourself? (I'm talking stuff like this.) I should even be able to process my data enough to actually make up the templates appropriately, so pretty much all you'd have to do is check pages here and copy-paste whatever needs it. Tiddlywinks (talk) 12:46, 23 October 2015 (UTC)

Sounds good to me. Let's get to it! I should be able to use my laptop tomorrow, so I can start then. --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 16:46, 23 October 2015 (UTC)
It'll actually take me some (unknown) amount of time still, if I'm gonna try to turn my data into template code. Tiddlywinks (talk) 17:39, 23 October 2015 (UTC)
That's OK. I can use my laptop the next weekend too, so no problem. You take your time and please let me know when you've got your stuff all set and ready. --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 17:50, 23 October 2015 (UTC)
