Welcome to Bulbapedia, CoolPikachu!!^-^

As a new user, you may wish to learn a few things that will be useful in your editing:

• For a basic overview of wiki code, see this page.
• The manual of style is very important. Make sure to read it. It outlines all official policies of Bulbapedia.
• The word Pokémon is spelled with a capital P and an accented é. The P, of course, is accessed easily by holding Shift and pressing the P key, while the é can be accessed using Alt + 130 or Alt + 0233 on a Windows computer, and Option + e, then e again on a Mac. Otherwise, you can click it in the character palette below the editbox.
• The word Poké Ball is spelled as two words. The "Poké" part is identical to the four beginning letters in "Pokémon"; "Ball" is spelled with a captial B (which is, again, accessed by holding Shift and pressing the B key). The spelling "Pokéball" arises frequently, but is incorrect.
• On talk pages, please sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).
• The use of link templates is official policy. For an explanation on their use, see the page on shortlinks.
• If you happen to spot a vandal in the recent changes that has not been dealt with, please see this page for how to deal with it.

Preview

instead of making one change and then saving the page, try using the "Show Preview" button. this way you dont litter the Recent Changes with your edits. MAGNEDETH 03:17, 7 February 2008 (UTC)

well, Tina has a whole page devoted to it actually. its not hard if you know HTML. also, Pokemaniac102 makes signatures for people. but hes on vacation right now. i could probibly whip somthing up real quick if you want. MAGNEDETH 03:30, 7 February 2008 (UTC)

yea, he is lucky. also, when you want to resond to somthing, put a ":" before your words to indent. (you can see this when you edit) also, heres somthing i made.

Templates

Remember to categorize them (REMEMBER THE TAGS AS WELL, AROUND THE CATEGORY...) and close up the table, too. Also, not all tags are violet-blue with a lighter background. Tina^☆♫ 04:11, 14 February 2008 (UTC)

Usertags

When creating new usertags, please put the word "User" after "Template:" and before anything else. For example, if you were to create a tag indicating a Youtube user (not that I'd recommend such an action), it would best be created at "Template:User Youtube". --Shiningpikablu252 03:01, 5 March 2008 (UTC)

Well, I was responding to Z. But for you, I gotta say, put the cards on the TCG disambig pages in the order of their release, with the names that are on the card lists. Well, first of all, you don't need all of those links in your signature, only the Userpage and talk page are really needed. So something like Cool Pikachu! would do. The code's Template:Code. Tina ^δ♫ 00:52, 4 April 2008 (UTC)

After that, copy that code, go to 'my preferences', and make sure that 'Raw signature' is turned on. Paste the code into the 'Nickname' field and save. Now it should show up if you type Template:Code. Tina ^δ♫ 00:54, 4 April 2008 (UTC)
