Foresight

Foresight and Odor Sleuth do not remove all resistances. They only set evasiveness back to normal and make Ghost-types vulnerable to Normal- and Fighting-type attacks. They have no effect on the effectiveness of Electric on Ground. --DarkfireTaimatsu 21:39, 9 August 2007 (UTC)

Pokémon availability

Don't take the text straight from Serebii, honestly. TTEchidna 21:40, 9 August 2007 (UTC)

I've never heard of that website. I'm just adding it based on what I've seen from games, Koffing seems easier to find in Red than in Blue, vice versa with Grimer. Babyg 21:42, 9 August 2007 (UTC)

Help

I need help with the syntax on Template:Availability. Here is an example of what I mean:

http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/w/index.php?title=Rhydon_%28Pok%C3%A9mon%29&oldid=163368

Notice how under "Game locations" it turned out wrong? I need an explanation for this. Babyg 20:05, 13 August 2007 (UTC)

You must've missed a vertical pipe. It happens sometimes. Just make sure that after each thing you enter there's one of these: |. TTEchidna 08:56, 14 August 2007 (UTC)

& and and.

Don't use ampersands instead of and, unless it's something official like EX FireRed & LeafGreen. Ampersands are usually not in anything but a title.

Also, Generation I is essentially defined as Red, Blue, and Yellow, and Pokémon is spelled with the accented é, in the character map below the editbox. Please. Use it. TTEchidna 09:11, 14 August 2007 (UTC)

Sysop Reverts

It's not a good idea to undo a reversion by a sysop. While the sysop isn't always 100% right (nobody is), the sysops know what they're doing. We have a manual of style and notability requirements that are there for the good of all users. --Shiningpikablu252 20:25, 15 August 2007 (UTC)

Slowbro: Holding Shell?

It looks like Slowbro is holding it, but it is really on his tail which, because he is sitting, is in front of him! Ryguy 21:43, 15 August 2007 (EST)

STAB

It's been proven that the same-type attack bonus works the same way regardless of the Pokémon's type and whether it's a single-type or a dual-type. The STAB bonus is 50% regardless of whether it's a Seviper or Crobat using Poison Fang. Either you have a bad copy of the game, or the effects of a move such as Growl or Harden were in play causing the damage to be reduced. --Shiningpikablu252 20:25, 20 August 2007 (UTC)

Or the fact that the Attack power of the Pokémon using it differs. Either way, STAB's +50% if the Pokémon's of the same type as the move, no matter what. TTEchidna 00:18, 21 August 2007 (UTC)

Question for Diamond & Pearl

Does any trainer use a Riolu or would I have to hatch the egg to see one? Babyg 16:28, 22 August 2007 (UTC)

There's an Expert in the basement of the Oreburgh Gate who has a Riolu. He's in the part to the left that you have to Surf to get to. --Shiny Noctowl 16:34, 22 August 2007 (UTC)
Thanks, didn't want to have to get the egg since my team is full and has really great Pokemon. Babyg 16:36, 22 August 2007 (UTC)
You could just dump one in the PC, ride around for five minutes, and you could dump the Riolu and get your good team member out. It doesn't take forever to hatch an egg... TTEchidna 00:38, 23 August 2007 (UTC)

Swarms?

I have another question. I was getting lots of swarms in my Japanese Diamond, but since Friday, they have stopped working. Also, they did not start appearing after I got the National Dex in my English Diamond. Why is this? Babyg 21:16, 27 August 2007 (UTC)
