I have been informed by other staff members that you can go ahead and create the article for the Unova Pokédex toy. However why can't you upload pictures to the archives? :Sorry for the late reply, but editing was locked because of the server move. Anyway, ok, thanks for the info, and at one point when I was fairly new to Bulbapedia someone told me that only staff members can upload pictures. Besides, I don't really know how to. Sure, thanks, but I'm not sure where to get pictures from without being accused of stealing them, and I don't actually have the toy myself. ([[User:Charizard101|Charizard101]] ([[User talk:Charizard101|talk]]) 00:22, 8 October 2012 (UTC))

Welcome to Bulbapedia, Charizard101!

By creating your account you are now able to edit pages, join discussions, and expand the community-driven Pokémon encyclopedia. Before you jump in, here are some ground rules:

  • Be nice to everyone. It's in the code of conduct.
  • Make good edits. Preview them before you save to make sure they're perfect the first time around.
  • Use wikicode and link templates when adding content to a page.
  • Use proper grammar and spelling, and read the manual of style.
  • You can't create a userpage until you've added to the encyclopedia. It's a privilege. See the userspace policy.
  • Use talk pages to resolve editing disputes. Don't "edit war," or constantly re-edit/undo the same thing on a page.
  • If you have a question about something, be proactive. Take a look at our FAQ. If you're still stuck, ask for help. The staff won't bite.
  • Sign all talk page posts with four tildes (~~~~). This will turn into your name and the time you wrote the comment.
  • For more handy links, see the welcome portal.
Thank you, and have a good time editing here!

Reverting & Edit Wars

If someone reverts an edits you have made, do not immediately restore your changes to the article(s) in question. Doing so is considered an edit war and is a violation of Bulbapedia policy. Instead of getting into edit wars, like you have on the pages Pokémon Ranger: Guardian Signs‎ and Hey You, Pikachu!, bring the changes up on the talk page & allow discussion. Further edit wars may result in your account being temporarily blocked from editing Bulbapedia. - Kogoro - Talk to me - 22:58, 11 February 2012 (UTC) Okay, thanks. I'm sorry about that. I did not mean to start a editing war. It will not happen again, I promise. (Charizard101 23:02, 11 February 2012 (UTC))

Preview Button

Please use the preview button, instead of editing a page several times
Preview button is right next to Save Changes--Jaison Clinton Castelino 16:02, 12 February 2012 (UTC)

This is a second warning. Please use the preview button. There's no need to edit a page multiple times for no reason when we have the preview button. -- MAGNEDETH 02:12, 20 February 2012 (UTC)

Card pages and editing tags

Quit adding the editing tags to card pages unless there is a legitimate reason. An article isn't incomplete just because it is short. This article already has all the information that exists on it. No more information can be added if it doesn't exist. So, unless there is a legitimate reason for a card to be incomplete, such as missing one of the artwork reprints, you cannot add incomplete of cleanup or stub tags to them. MaverickNate 17:37, 19 February 2012 (UTC)

Also, don't add anything to the card origin sections unless the Japanese name of the attack is the same or very similar to that of a move in the games. Additionally, all sections of the card articles should be written with proper linking and wording.--Den Zen 00:42, 20 February 2012 (UTC)

Unova Pokédex

I have been informed by other staff members that you can go ahead and create the article for the Unova Pokédex toy. However why can't you upload pictures to the archives? Lady Ariel 21:05, 30 September 2012 (UTC)

Sorry for the late reply, but editing was locked because of the server move. Anyway, ok, thanks for the info, and at one point when I was fairly new to Bulbapedia someone told me that only staff members can upload pictures. Besides, I don't really know how to. I can upload the images for you, if you provide the links. Lady Ariel 00:15, 8 October 2012 (UTC)
