Welcome to Bulbapedia, BurgundyUnicorn!

By creating your account you are now able to edit pages, join discussions, and expand the community-driven Pokémon encyclopedia. Before you jump in, here are some ground rules:

  • Be nice to everyone. It's in the code of conduct.
  • Make good edits. Preview them before you save to make sure they're perfect the first time around.
  • Use wikicode and link templates when adding content to a page.
  • Use proper grammar and spelling, and read the manual of style.
  • You can't create a userpage until you've added to the encyclopedia. It's a privilege. See the userspace policy.
  • Use talk pages to resolve editing disputes. Don't "edit war," or constantly re-edit/undo the same thing on a page.
  • If you have a question about something, be proactive. Take a look at our FAQ. If you're still stuck, ask for help. The staff won't bite.
  • Sign all talk page posts with four tildes (~~~~). This will turn into your name and the time you wrote the comment.
  • For more handy links, see the welcome portal.
Thank you, and have a good time editing here!

Block

I am going to summarize a few things here. I was not specifically available at the time of your blocking, but Jo the Marten told me that "a user was making highly questionable edits" and that they were the first edits that said user was making. When I usually hear things like this, it sounds like either a vandal, or someone who didn't read the rules. Now I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt and hope you aren't a vandal, however, you still made some highly questionable edits (specifically adding two sections of "quotes" containing literal gibberish), so I am inclined to believe you indeed did not read the rules.

The good news is I am reducing your block from one month to a week. The bad news is you are still blocked. I want you to take some time to read the rules before you continue editing. Specifically, you should realize that before making such a drastic change to a page, you should bring it up on the talk page first. Also, make sure to use the preview button. If you would like to contact me specifically, you can e-mail me at "[email protected]" or send me a personal message (PM) on the forums. -- MAGNEDETH 20:19, 4 February 2012 (UTC)

Code of conduct + Talk page comments

Hi, I regretfully must inform you that your recent contributions have not followed the Code of conduct stated in Bulbapedia. You seem to have taken a dislike to a fellow admin but above all, another user. We're meant to coexist peacefully in this site, so please try and treat others the way you wish to be treated. She's not trying to pick you on nor pick a fight with you, or anything of the sort. She's undoing edits that don't meet the Manual of Style, she is enforcing the rules, don't take it as personal. In addition, you're not allowed to remove any talk page comments on any talk page, not even yours. Even much less to edit certain comments to involve personal attacks to the aforementioned person. If you wish to remove these comments off your talk page, you may move it to an archive talk page instead and start from zero. Let this be the last time I catch you trying to fight with someone else. Yes, sir. It won't happen again.

Burgundy's talk page

Hi, as per the talk page policy states, nobody is allowed to remove talk pages comments unless they're spam or old comments, yours was neither. In this case, the section you replied on is now to be kept for historic purposes, and as such, the removing of anything after having signed is forbidden. Thank you. I know nothing about Pokemon.

I am being followed by these admins. I swear it.

I have only watched one episode. It is Burgundy's. I will be the keeper of Burgundy's lovely page.
