Welcome

Welcome to Bulbapedia, Brats817!

As a new user, you may wish to learn a few things that will be useful in your editing:

  • For a basic overview of wiki code, see this page.
  • The manual of style is very important. Make sure to read it. It outlines all official policies of Bulbapedia.
  • The word Pokémon is spelled with a capital P and an accented é. The P, of course, is accessed easily by holding Shift and pressing the P key, while the é can be accessed using Alt + 130 or Alt + 0233 on a Windows computer, and Option + e, then e again on a Mac. Otherwise, you can click it in the character palette below the editbox.
  • The word Poké Ball is spelled as two words. The "Poké" part is identical to the four beginning letters in "Pokémon"; "Ball" is spelled with a captial B (which is, again, accessed by holding Shift and pressing the B key). The spelling "Pokéball" arises frequently, but is incorrect.
  • On talk pages, please sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).
  • The use of link templates is official policy. For an explanation on their use, see the page on shortlinks.
  • If you happen to spot a vandal in the recent changes that has not been dealt with, please see this page for how to deal with it.
  • A list of pages that are linked to, but have not been created, can be found at this page. A list of short articles that may require more information can be found here, while a list of articles that need improvement can be found here.
  • A list of the admins that you can contact in case of a problem, can be found here.

Thank you, and have a good time editing here! TTEchidnaFire echyGSDS! 10:00, 24 January 2008 (UTC)

Dusknoir

It's not odd that Dusknoir is able to learn Charge Beam, but not Thunderbolt or Thunder. Other Pokémon also unable to do this are: Abra, Kadabra, Alakazam, Remoraid, Octillery, Duskull, Dusclops, and possible others. - Kogoro | Talk to me - 07:00, 25 November 2008 (UTC)

Well.......it still seems odd. The fact they can learn one electric beam but can't learn another is weird to me. {{--Brats817 07:22, 18 January 2009 (UTC)|Brats817}}

Stop it

Stop adding to Lopunny's trivia that Finneon looks feminine. It is an opinion. Finneon does not look feminine to me and probably some other users. Don't put it in again. --ケンジガール 06:33, 18 January 2009 (UTC)

So does that mean you want your opinion supported, but I have no right to state mine? Lots of people see Finneon with a feminine appearance. The black mark near it's eye looks like eyelashes and the colors are pink and light blue, which is distinctly feminine colors. {{--Brats817 07:23, 18 January 2009 (UTC)|Brats817}}

Uh no... they are not... Lickitung is pink. Does that mean it looks like a girl? That's you're opinion... And sign your comments with ~~~~. --ケンジガール 07:22, 18 January 2009 (UTC)

Yes but Lickitung isn't a male only Pokemon either. And even though it's pink, it's physical appearance isn't girlish. Finneon looks nothing even remotely close to Lickitung. It also depends on the pattern and physical appearance of the Pokemon. Heck there are some people out there that don't always think of feminine Pokemon as such. I've seen plenty of masculine Lopunnys and male Milotics on the web. And Clefairy's, like Lickitung, are all pink but Clefairys look physically feminine, Lickitung doesn't.--Brats817 07:29, 18 January 2009 (UTC)

Look we are not having it. There are plenty more Pokémon than look girlier than Finneon. End of discussion. --ケンジガール 07:31, 18 January 2009 (UTC)

There are plenty of Pokemon that are girlier than Lopunny too. That doesn't make Finneon any less girly than it looks. I'm not trying to fight with you. I'm just trying to prove a point.--Brats817 07:36, 18 January 2009 (UTC)

Talk Page Comments

Please don't erase talk page comments for no reason. Trust me, you do NOT want to end up like Big Johnno, who got into an edit war with a sysop over comments the former had erased and was trying to keep erased. That user ended up blocked and subsequently had every erased comment restored. --((Marton imos)) 06:42, 18 January 2009 (UTC)

I did erase them for a reason. I already read them, so I felt no use for them to litter my talk page. And I don't know alot about the site, so if there's a reason these should stay up and I'm informed of why, I'll leave them alone.{{--Brats817 07:20, 18 January 2009 (UTC)|Brats817}}}

Please sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~)--RexRacer -talk 07:05, 18 January 2009 (UTC)
You could use them for a reason, You can read them again if you forgot one's advice.--FF(edits-talk) 07:09, 18 January 2009 (UTC)

Ummm do I just paste those tilde things there or something? I never signed something here before. {{--Brats817 07:30, 18 January 2009 (UTC)|Brats817}}
