Greetings.
'Bout Me
I write. I read. I draw. I Photoshop the heck out of stuff. I speak Japanese and really poor French. I play copious amounts of EarthBound, Brawl, Fire Emblem and Pokémon. I watch a bit too much in the way of 007 films, Digimon and NCIS. I am thorougly fascinated by etymology.
That doesn't guarantee that I'm any good at any of these things, though. :P
I only really play the games in terms of the extent of my Pokémon interest. I'd love to read Adventures, but it's so damn hard to come by around here, and the anime just pisses me off largely because it strikes me as why people think Pokémon is for children, and as such is somewhat responsible for all the crap I've gotten for liking the franchise over the years.
...Okay, any scene in the anime that happens to have a Mudkip is okay by me, I admit it.
I was actually something of a latecomer to the Pokémon franchise (and to Nintendo stuff in general; damn Sony snared me first). Sure, I was perfectly aware of the series beforehand, but with the exception of one anime episode and figures of Psyduck and Golduck, I neither knew nor cared anything for the franchise until I came across a friend's copy of Ruby in 2004. Following that, I got my own Sapphire (since lost) and I've been following the series sorta closely since then.
