About myself Howdy all! My name is not Trom. But that is what I like to be called. So, please do. I am an eighteen-year-old male living in the southern paradise that is New Zealand. Somehow or other, I find the time to call in here almost every day; hopefully this won't change in the immediate future. If you're wondering what I do in my real life, I'm a student, like most people here. My field of study is mathematics, but I've got a couple of other papers in there too. Next year I'm hoping to pick up some computing papers as well. If you see this username anywhere else on the internet, it's probably me. If not, then we may have a problem on our hands. I'm registered on almost every Pokémon-related wiki under the sun, but if you find one without me be sure to let me know. A wiki isn't a wiki without a Trom, after all. My interest in wiki software stems back to 2005, when I discovered Wikipedia for the first time. The following year, I created my first account, and made a few changes. Six months later, with password down the toilet, my second account was created. I'm sure you can find it if you look hard enough—there are more than enough hints on this userpage. While I still edit there occasionally—mainly during lulls here—I am not as active as I once was. Once an article writer, I am reduced to reverting vandalism and tagging "bad" newpages for deletion. Through acquisition of Pokémon Diamond, followed by Sapphire, Emerald and FireRed, I slowly made my migration to this wiki. Now, it is where I spend most of my time. I am almost always active between 20:00 and 11:00 UTC: feel free to bother me during this time period. As an administrator, I can edit some pages you probably can't, and am happy to lend a third ear in disputes. I don't attach myself to any projects here, but will help out with anything: including those boring, mindnumbing, repetitive updates. Anyway, all questions, complaints, insults, tasks and praise you may have for me can be left on my talk page, in a new section. Most importantly, don't forget to sign!

Here, to illustrate the effect of blacking out, I took my level 9 Magikarp to Route 204, where I rather unfortunately faced off against a level 8 Magikarp. Forty Splashes and a few Struggles later, I had my three screenshots... one of which I subsequently lost, thus requiring me to start over.

File:Early093.png Mai Pogeymanz I have lots of them, and am awaiting Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver in 2010 so I can complete my Pokédex; I lack the required side games and Wifi to get the last few, unfortunately. I typically rotate my team around 20 or so Pokémon, some of them EV trained, and some not. I'm not a huge competitive battler, but can hold my own in the Battle Tower, and against my brother. Haunter is awesome. Arms! Body! Not attached! Don't lecture me about an alleged in-battle suckiness, the ghost just looks awesome. Plus Morty has one. Write that backwards, and you get...

In closing Yeah, my page is boring now. All purple, no changing colors. Sorry, but I had reports that some users were spending too long trying to see every single option (estimated at 1x1019 different combinations), and not editing our encyclopedia. So: get back to it!
