If I'm not making as many edits as I did when I first joined, it's because I'm working on completing my second run of my Pearl version and don't have as much time to be on the computer. Welcome to my userpage, I guess. I use this page mainly for experimenting with wikicode. Games Battling My teams in games follow a general structure: Starter, Electric-type, Flying-type, HM Slave, random Pokémon, and after I catch it, version mascot Legend. Yup, I use Legendaries, because it seems like a waste not to... the whole game revolves around them, after all. I tend to use Pokémon with high Special Attack. A notable exception is White, where I used good Physical attackers— Zebstrika, Excadrill, Escavalier, Darmanitan, Bisharp, and Zekrom— at various points in the game. (Troll (my Darmanitan), Zekrom, Escavalier, and my Bisharp stayed on my final team. I'm currently training Excadrill, but I stopped because I got tired of being pwnt by Fire-types). This was also the first game in which I trained a Bug-type. I like to use reliable, powerful moves such as Ice Beam, Dragon Pulse, Thunderbolt, and Aura Sphere. I would post all my teams, but I haven't completed Pearl or HeartGold and I can't remember what my SoulSilver team was— I have so many random Pokémon in that file and I've beat the Elite Four 50 times. I am currently in the process of posting my White team and best Pokémon. My Games My favorite games out of the games I own are Pearl and White. I would like to somehow get a copy of Ruby or Emerald. If Ruby and Sapphire were remade for Gen. V, I would be extremely happy. Hoenn is the best region— the Pokémon, characters, villains, and region itself are really awesome. I've always liked Pearl... the Sinnoh region is cool. For some reason, I don't like Platinum that much. I think Giratina's Origin Forme is weird-looking, and I don't like the redesigns of Lucas and Dawn. I prefer Pearl's graphics for some reason, although they aren't as good. The plotline is interesting in all three Sinnoh games. HGSS has pretty good graphics, the Gym Leaders and Elite Four are cool, there's a huge amount of stuff to explore, and any Pokémon can follow you around. The only department it's lacking in is the plot. Generation IV was awesome! It's weird... I used to hate Black and White, probably because the first things I saw from it were Tepig, the Gym Leaders, and Mr. Dennis Ghetsis. I greatly dislike pigs and was disappointed that Emboar is yet another Fire/Fighting-type starter. I think Unova has some of the weirdest Gym Leaders... I don't like the design of Burgh, Clay, Skyla, and Drayden. Also, anyone that hasn't seen Ghetsis before that looks at a picture of him for the first time is in for a shock. I really didn't like the new Pokémon I looked at... except for Zekrom. I'd been waiting for an legendary, somewhat mechanical-looking Electric/Dragon-type and a Pokémon with some sort of electricity generator as part of it. Zekrom fit those requirements, but I still hated the games. Eventually, though, I took a look at the plotline, and realized just how interesting it was. I studied the new Pokémon, and realized that I liked Sigilyph, Bisharp, Serperior, Darmanitan, Escavalier, Haxorus, Hydreigon, Garbodor (this thing is hilarious!), Volcarona, and Kyurem. I still hate the ice cream, Munna, Musharna, Darumaka, Emboar, and the Kami Trio. Game Freak did a great job on the plotline... N is actually an interesting rival, and he's neither purely good or evil. The whole ending was epic and unexpected... I wonder if the sequels of Black and White are any good. The Kyurem/Reshiram and Kyurem/Zekrom thing look... unpokémonlike. And I have an open mind. For now, I believe I'll stay in Gen IV mode in my own little brain, as I have been for the past five years or so. If a remake is made of RSE, please alert me. I really want to somehow obtain a copy of Ruby or Emerald, because the second I looked Hoenn up on this site, I was impressed. Hoenn is the best region with some of the most-appreciated Legends. The region itself and the Gym Leaders are cool. I pay a lot of attention to battle music... Best music from Pokémon games: Category Theme Reason Pokémon Weather Trio Battle It is epic. Pokémon (2nd place) Regis Battle Very fitting, repetitive, awesome... and catchy. Pokémon (3rd place) HGSS Ho-oh battle I like the Japanese-style music. Champion Cynthia's battle theme EPIC. Elite Four Unova Elite Four battle Highly unique and cool. Gym Leader HGSS Johto Gym Battle I just like this music; not sure why. Evil Team Grunt Galactic Grunt battle Unique and it's not annoying to keep hearing it over and over. Evil Team Leader Cyrus Good. Evil Leader (2nd place) "Mr. Dennis*" There is voices... but I like the drums. This theme is actually awesome. DEEEENNNNIIIIISSSSS Overworld location Spear Pillar This is too epic for words to explain. File:Regis.png Opinions "The only good Pikachu is a possessed Pikachu." —me I dislike the anime for many reasons, one of which is the fact that I can't stand Ash or his Pikachu. The anime was actually OK until they got rid of Misty, after which things went downhill. And when they got rid of Brock in Best Wishes, that just killed it. I now dislike all anime episodes except Gaining Groudon and The Scuffle of Legends!, which were great. Favorite Pokémon This section is under construction. I do not like... Ash Ketchum. Ice cream that stares back at me when I stare at it. Clowns (especially Mr. Mime and the Harlequin sprite from BW), and Jynx. (It's worth noting that I consider Jynx to be Mr. Mime's female counterpart, although Mr. Mime can be female. Hmm... I thought Mr. = male.) Several of the Pokémon from BW, especially Floaty Pig and Mega Floaty Pig Munna and Musharna. Skyla. She makes you climb the Celestial Tower to save a hurt Pokémon and then you climb it and she's all like "Hee hee! Don't I have great eyesight?" And then you challenge the Gym and PWN her and she's all happy! I 1-hit KO'd her entire team with my Zebstrika, which was Level 34 at the time. Winona is cooler and needs some strategy to defeat— you can't just spam Spark or something. Glitching I think glitches are cool. Not for cheating purposes, but just for error purposes. MissingNo., ZZAZZ, Glitch City, the Mew glitch, Dokokashira Door... Red and Blue certainly have some strange things inside them. I must find a way to get into the Mystery Zone in Pearl... my game seems to resist the spinning-around-on-the-Bicycle method. Tiers The concept of tiers is a controversial one, to be certain. I know which Pokémon are uber and know that people get laughed at for using major legendaries in Wi-Fi battles. But my philosophy for the non-uber Pokémon is this— with the right moveset, pretty much anything can kill stuff. A good Trainer can win with any Pokémon that has reasonably good stats. Also, I won't hesitate to use uber Pokémon without warning. Villains! I am a member of Team Magma. On the topic of other teams... Team Rocket is OK, Team Aqua is weird, Team Galactic is a lot weird, and Team Plasma is flat-out insane. Giovanni is OK in the games— I think he could be more gangster-boss-like in his personality, and he disbanded Team Rocket for no reason. He looks evil, though. Archie is a weirdo... But then again, all pirates are weirdos. I believe that Cyrus belongs in an asylum for the criminally insane— he tried destroy the universe, and was emotionless while trying. I suppose we'll never know what's wrong with "Mr. Dennis." Although I hate his appearance, it must be said that he is the most villainous evil dude, and biggest jerk yet. To quote PowerPlantRaichu, "...he is a bigger jerk that the ones who tried to destroy the universe." The only plan that I did not wholeheartedly agree with was the rocket-fuel-into-the-volcano plot. I dislike Team Aqua because A) I am a member of Team Magma; B) Flooding the Earth usually results in a large number of deaths; and C) I don't like pirates. Moar to be added later. I also added the Red Orb and Blue Orb section to the Legendary Artifacts page, and wrote the paragraph on what happened to the orbs in Gaining Groudon and the Scuffle of Legends.
