From Bulbapedia, the community-driven Pokémon encyclopedia.
Finishing up the current party, it's everyone's favorite donutboy, Brock. Surely he'll be a bit more difficult than May.
AssAsh's first Gym, and he's gonna have a hard time. Brock faces the world's biggest moron with two Pokémon.
Then Ash loses once and quits the second time. Brock follows him and gives him the Boulder Badge for being a good sport and not cheating. Then Brock's loser dad comes back and Brock follows Ash around until they're both 90.
Brock makes his first capture! Offscreen. Great. It's one of the Zubat swarming near Mt. Moon's entrance. And it goes unused FOREVER.
Susie the idiot gives Brock her Vulpix. Brock takes care of it by letting it do nothing.
And... that's it? That's it?! Damn.
Brock sticks by Professor Ivy. He stays there doing absolutely nothing for a whole season, then gets found by Ash's mom, rejected.
Brock follows Ash to Johto. The original trio is reunited... in almost the same condition as when they parted ways. Only Misty's party is different.
Brock makes his first capture in forever in one of the Apricorn Balls.
One of Brock's Pokémon evolves! About damn time! Only took them about 160 freaking episodes. Oddly, it's one of his Gen I Pokémon into another Gen I Pokémon.
Uh-oh, Brock has too many Pokémon, and the writers can't let him have as many as Glorious Ash does. Or give Ash badges at any intelligent rate. So Susie shows up, and takes Vulpix back.
So Brock's hitting on women trying to find stuff with supersonic waves again. Golbat becomes useful! And evolves!
Pineco fun. The little bomb evolves.
And that's the end of Johto and the original series.
Brock's left some of his Pokémon back at home. Whee. Everyone's starting back over this time.
Brock makes an early capture! And it's... another non-Rock-type. Why does he keep doing that if he's a Rock-type specialist? If he hates that his mom uses Water-types? Hypocrite.
Brock lieks something.
Another evolution for Brock. Much earlier than last time.
And a second one. It's finally paced well.
And Hoenn's over, so we go...
Back to Kanto
The kids love crazy dancing pineapples. Brock leaves his at the Pewter Gym because of this.
Three evolutions for Brock? Damn, they got generous in AG.
And another capture? A Generation IV Pokémon? Ash has to wait to get to Sinnoh before he gets one, and May got hers a while ago.
Wait. It's Rock-type. FRICKING FINALLY.
...four. FOUR evolutions for Brock. Onix finally evolves when it's almost Generation IV time, and it becomes a Generation II Pokémon. What a waste of marketing back in Johto. It'd at least have been ONE LESS FILLER. Note that it may have become Steelix any time between AG134 and this episode.
And that's AG.
So again, Brock leaves fricking everything at Pewter Gym. Well, except for his Generation IV bundle of joy.
Never fear, though, Brock fans. He makes a quick capture and... wait. Rock-type starting out... then... Poison-type as the first capture. Again?
Wait. WHAT. An evolution, FOR BROCK? THIS EARLY?! None of Dawn's Pokémon even evolved yet!
And they lose their Generation IV marketability with Bonsly... for... wait. Generation II marketability? Hmmmmmmmmmmmm...
Hey, they finally give the Pokémon Breeder an egg. FINALLY.
Dawn didn't steal it... May didn't steal it... Misty didn't steal it... Brock's egg hatches, and it's a Happiny!
...seriously, it's been this long since Brock had a change to his team? Jeez. Ah well, Happiny finally evolves! Donutboy gets one last hurrah!
BROCK'S LEAVING. NO MORE DONUTS. I'm so sad...
