Lana's Poké Ride Lapras (Japanese: スイレンのポケモンライドラプラス Suiren's Poké Ride Laplace) is a Pokémon that Lana uses for when she fishes.

History

Pokémon the Series: Sun & Moon

Lapras first appeared in Alola to New Adventure! alongside Lana, fishing for wild Pokémon.

In Yo, Ho, Ho! Go, Popplio!, Lapras was seen in a flashback fishing with Lana. They quickly noticed a wild Popplio having sand kicked at by Team Skull Grunts. It rushed over and attacked the group with Ice Beam, freezing them, allowing Lana to rescue the scared Sea Lion Pokémon. In the present, Lapras was later seen helping Lana fish up many Water-type Pokémon. Near the end of the episode, it was captured by Team Rocket, along with the other Ride Pokémon, and was saved by Popplio attack Team Rocket with its Balloon technique.

Lapras was used again in So Long, Sophocles! where Lana took Sophocles and Togedemaru out to sea so that they could see a Wailord breaching out of the water.

Pokémon Journeys: The Series

Lapras appeared in That New Old Gang of Mine! when Lana and Sandy saved Goh from drowning by falling into the sea.

Personality and characteristics

Lapras is a very calm Pokémon, but it has shown to be agitated in Yo, Ho, Ho! Go, Popplio! during a flashback, when it angrily attacked some Team Skull Grunts, on Lana's orders, by freezing them with Ice Beam. It was also shown to be startled in the same episode, when it heard Lana, her sisters, Ash, Lana's Popplio, Ash's Rowlet, and the Rotom Pokédex being electrocuted by Pikachu's Thunderbolt.
