Introduction

Okay, for those of you who don’t know me (meaning everybody basically), I am User Lapras because I just love the pokémon Lapras. I have two on all my games and they all have the same moveset: Attract, Ice Beam, Body Slam, and Thunderbolt. I have been playing pokémon for thirteen years now, and have gotten pretty good at it. Even though I am new here, I have had some editing experience on Wikipedia, so yes, I have been trained. I hope that I and the other editors have a fun time making this site as up to date and cool as possible! Now that I am an official Bulbapedia User, I would like to introduce a new section to my user page called the pokémon of the day! No, I will probably not update this every day of the week, just three or four. I prefer to stay in Generation Three with my pokémon, but I will go to Generation Four, too. I will suggest a moveset, and why that moveset is what it is. Once I really get into the swing of things, then I can start going daily.

Now that I am an official Bulbapedia User, I would like to introduce a new section to my user page called the pokémon of the day! No, I will probably not update this every day of the week, just three or four. I prefer to stay in Generation Three with my pokémon, but I will go to Generation Four, too. NEW POKéMON OF THE DAY

Today’s Pokémon of the Day is

- ***Gengar!***

I like Gengar because they have sky-high special attack and can employ the annoy strategy. Most people just want to get a battle over, but I on the other hand like to play around with my opponent a little. As you can see, the SUGGESTED moveset below is an advanced form of an “Annoy and Drain Life Slowly” strategy. Here goes...

- 1. Thunderbolt
- 2. Dream Eater
- 3. Sludge Bomb
- 4. Hypnosis

As you can see, there are many possible strategies to be employed here. If you are up against a pokémon that is immune to Shadow Ball (Rattata, Pidgey, Girafarig, etc.), you could use Hypnosis, then Dream Eater to make up for the health you may have lost due to the wasted turn. Pokémon such as Magneton would be immune to Sludge Bomb. If you forget, use the strategy listed above. Thunderbolt is a Special Attack that will take advantage of Gengar’s increased Special Attack. Click herefor a list of moves that Gengar can learn in Generation Three. I hope this moveset helps you should you decide to use Dewgong on a pokémon team you may be composing.

******Some Other Great Pokémon Sites******

Here are some other sites that could further enhance your understanding of pokémon. Remember, if you have any questions about my page, or about how pokémon work, ask me. I have been studying pokémon for thirteen years now.

** 1. Serebii's official website **

** 2. The official pokémon website **

I hope my site will be helpful to all in the future!
