| I didn't exactly know what I was doing when I joined Bulbapedia. First of all, I didn't know that mainspace had high priority over the userspace, so basically, I edited the userspace a lot at first. I had previously contributed to Wikipedia, but I didn't have any idea how different it'd be from Bulbapedia, causing me to break the rules every now and then, even to this day. However, I have quit editing Bulbapedia to give full attention to [[NIWA]] Network Wikis.

| One of the first things I learned on Bulbapedia, was that the preview button is key! I learned that after editing on my userpage a zillion times to just get my signature looking right. Luckily, now they show a preview of what your signature looks like so you don't have to edit a page in order to see it. (See "Fishy Advice")

| [[Ranger Base]] was the first article I have ever made on Bulbapedia, and it was pretty amateur, but a good start. Now when I consider making a page I look at other pages and make myself a rubric and test it out in the userspace, rather than making an amateur page like Ranger Base was in the mainspace that people will SEARCH for an SEE its inmaturity as an article. After I think its ready I create the real article, usually with an admins permission. (See "Fishy Advice")

| Another important thing I learned about on Bulbapedia is too NEVER, MAKE A SOCKPUPPET ACCOUNT. I had done so to vandalise a page to prove that it could be vandalised due to not being protected. I got caught ever so easily and was banned for a while. If you REALLY need to make an alternate account, ask an admin first. (See "Fishy Advice")
