I love Pokémon more than anything, my main interests are that in the IT area, most specifically; Programming. I can use C++ and PHP moderately well, as well as smaller, less well known languages.

I had no idea of your so-called "idea", but if you'd like to have any sort of talk with me about it, my contact information is in my User Profile.
I have an extremly good knowledge of PHP, CSS, HTML and web development in general. I also have a very good working knowledge of C/C++, the Allegro C++ API and Dark Basic. Along with an almost (Heh) complete knowledge of DIV Games Studio and it's imitator Fenix.

I was only jesting. I just thought it was strange that this thing appeared a while after mine with a slightly similar name, but using meta-wiki, mine is coded entirely by myself.

*<s>http://haruka.ferretgames.com</s> - Large fansite for the character May.
Although the chances are we both just had the same idea, Pokémon is the perfect subject for a Wiki-like website, aye we're probably not the first.

Sorry for sounding a bit too hostile before, I didn't mean it and I wish you all the best of luck, you never know, we most-likely both have information to share. :D - Ferret

In the interest of cooperation, you may be interested in knowing what public domain really means. It means you give up all the rights as the creator of the work - meaning anyone can take it, modify it, and legally be permitted to claim copyright on that whole modified work and licence it as they see fit. You may wish to reconsider licencing.

Our licence, the Creative Commons BY-NC-SA Licence], basically requires 3 things for reproduction of our work:
# Attribution - you must credit the work, even if modified, to Bulbapedia.
# Non-commercial - you cannot reproduce or modify the work for commercial purposes.
# Share alike -  you must licence the reproduced or modified work under the same licence.

I knew exacty what public domain meant. I have no qualms about what people do with the data on the website at all. I feel that the internet should be a place where information is free and without restrictions so my decision reflects this.

However, I was not aware of the rules for the Creative Commons liscence... Hmmm.. Thanks for filling me in. - Ferret

I am the creator of Poképedia, a different Pokémon encyclopedia project.

With the emergence of Bulbapedia I decided to close Poképedia and merge the info with Bulbapedia, for the greater good. :D

I love Pokémon more than anything, my main interests are that in the IT area, most specifically; Programming. I can use C++ and PHP moderately well, as well as smaller, less well known languages.
