To fix the save problem on a Pokemon Gold Silver or Crystal: Cut a 2-1/4" peice of electrical tape and place it center under the bottom tab. Put the battery on top and wrap around. Be sure the "+" is facing up and the tabs are on the proper sides making contact. Then get another peice of tape and wrap around the circuit board partly.
