Red is a major character of Pokémon Generations.
History
Nothing is known about Red's background. He started his journey in the Kanto region and somehow received a Bulbasaur. In Viridian Forest he caught a Pikachu that he would subsequently use in many battles during his journey. After traveling through Kanto, Red traveled to the Johto region. In Ecruteak City, he encountered a Lugia while battling a group of Wooper. After traveling to the Hoenn region, he had his Pikachu battle a Vigoroth at the Weather Institute. Following this, Red continued his journey in the Sinnoh region, where he had his Pikachu battle a Probopass in front of Snowpoint Temple. This inadvertently woke up the temple's Regigigas, which Pikachu also battled.
In the Unova region, Red and Pikachu explored the Relic Castle. After falling through a pitfall, Pikachu encountered a Volcarona. White battling it, a Landorus appeared which Pikachu then fought instead. In the Kalos region, Red and Pikachu went inside Terminus Cave, where they fled from a Noivern in a mine cart. Pikachu battled and defeated the Noivern, and as such, they were safely able to proceed through the cave. In a large room, they found a Complete Forme Zygarde. They watched as it took off to the sky.

Nothing is known about Red's personality, although he has been shown to be quite adventurous. He has traveled through at least five different regions and was shown to explore places such as Relic Castle and Terminus Cave.

Pikachu is one of Red's Pokémon and has been used by him in many of his battles. Red encountered Pikachu while in Viridian Forest. He sent out his Bulbasaur against it, but caught it in a Poké Ball without battling. After catching it, Red immediately let it out its Poké Ball and had it battle a Caterpie. In Ecruteak City, Red had Pikachu battle a group of Wooper, but its Thunderbolt had no effect on them. Following this, it was swept away by a Lugia. In the Hoenn region, it battled a Vigoroth at the Weather Institute. The fierce battle caused the rope bridge they fought on to break. After traveling with Red to Sinnoh, Pikachu battled a Probopass in front of Snowpoint Temple. This battle woke up the temple's Regigigas, which Pikachu subsequently began to battle. In the Relic Castle in Unova, Pikachu got separated from Red after falling through a pitfall. It ended up in a room with a Volcarona, that attacked Pikachu with Heat Wave. Pikachu blocked this attack by using a tile in the room as a shield. It then used Volt Tackle on Volcarona, after which a Landorus showed up. After this, Pikachu traveled with Red to Terminus Cave in the Kalos region. They tried to escape from a Noivern by using a mine cart. Pikachu defeated the Noivern with Thunderbolt and it safely escaped with its Trainer. They eventually reached a room where they found a Complete Forme Zygarde. They watched as it took off to the sky. Pikachu's known moves are Thunderbolt, Iron Tail, Volt Tackle and Electro Ball. | ||
