Hi! My name's Betakiller! I'm a Russian Pokémon fan. It's hard to be a Pokéfan in Russia...
How I become a Pokéfan
Pokémon conquered my mind when it was a short Pokémon age in Russia. I remember that good old time with nostalgia. When I was a kid, ORT used to broadcast Pokémon. The most interesting thing was that many Russian Pokéfans didn't know about games. Despite it, some had an Internet and learned about games. The newest were Pokémon Gold/Silver which is thought by many fans that's it's the best Pokémon game ever. Every child wanted to discover a portal to Kanto or Johto. Pokémon were popular and nobody thought that Pokémon would leave Russia...
Some guy registered as Panikovskii at Russian Pokémon League. He said that he's an ORT manager. It's unknown if he was an ordinary troll or he really was a manager, but he played his role - two months later they showed another stupid show instead of Pokémon. Panikovskii said that it's new children's programming director's fault. The new director changed Sergey Suponev (God rest his soul). Panikovskii also said that ORT finished airing Pokémon because some Japanese channel made an offensive video about ORT and Russia. I don't believe him.
