The Unown Notebook (Japanese: アンノーンノート Unknown Notebook) is a key item in HeartGold and SoulSilver Versions.

The Unown Notebook records the different forms of Unown the player has caught, and is thus quite similar to the Unown Dex expansion of the Pokédex in Gold, Silver, and Crystal. It is given to the player by a researcher when the player solves the first tile puzzle in the Ruins of Alph.
