Route 7 (Japanese: 7ばんどうろ Route 7) is a route in western Unova, connecting Mistralton City to Twist Mountain. The Celestial Tower is located at its center.
This route is notable for having raised walkways, and very tall grass.
After the player has earned the Legend Badge, there will be a big storm on Route 7. Going to the second house on the route during the storm will cause a lady to come out and invite the player into her house. She will then start talking about a Pokémon that causes great storms named Tornadus or Thundurus in Pokémon Black or White, respectively. Upon exiting the house, the Pokémon will confront the player. It will then roam around Unova.
Route description
Long grass can be found on the route, and several Trainers hide there. There are several raised walkways that the player can use to avoid the tall grass. Standing on the same position on a walkway for about five seconds will cause the player to fall off. Some walkways contain Harlequins, who will battle the player. There are two ways leading out of this route. Celestial Tower is in the northwest, while Twist Mountain is in the northeast.
Two houses can be found on this route. One house contains a Lass and a Hiker. The Hiker wants to trade his Emolga with the player for a BoldoreBW or trade an Emolga for his GigalithB2W2. Living in the other house is a family who tell tales of TornadusB/ThundurusW or add Kami trio to the PokédexB2W2. A woman will heal the player's Pokémon.
