In the anime
Anabel appeared in the episodes Talking a Good Game! and Second Time's the Charm!, battling against Ash.
Palmer has a cameo appearance at the beginning of Arceus and the Jewel of Life, battling against Cynthia. He made his debut appearance in Historical Mystery Tour! where he meets up with his son, Barry. In Challenging a Towering Figure!, he battled with Ash and won.
Trivia
- Though the word "tycoon" is actually derived from the Japanese word 大君 taikun (a title for the shogun), it is converted into katakana as an English term to match the names of the other Frontier Brains' Trainer classes, rather than using the hiragana たいくん or its respective katakana タイクン (without the lengthening chōonpu).
