Torkoal (Explorers of Time, Darkness, and Sky)

Torkoal is a non-player character in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time and Explorers of Darkness. He is first met when the player and their partner clear Waterfall Cave for the first time. They wash up at the Hot Spring and meet Torkoal, the town elder, who is relaxing there. Later in the game, he comes to the Wigglytuff's Guild and tells the Guild about a pattern. After that, he examines the partner's Relic Fragment and tells the Guild that the pattern on the Relic Fragment is the pattern. After that, Wigglytuff then remembers a similar pattern at the end of Brine Cave, which Chatot, who was with Wigglytuff at the time, also recalls.

Torkoal is the town elder and the wisest of all Pokémon in Treasure Town and can usually be found relaxing at the Hot Spring, which is where he is found before and after he is asked about the location of the Hidden Land.
