This card was included in the English {{TCG|EX Ruby & Sapphire}} expansion, first released in the Japanese {{TCG|Torchic Constructed Starter Deck}}, with artwork by Ken Sugimori. The Holofoil version found in the {{TCG|Torchic Constructed Starter Deck}} was printed in English as one of the {{TCG|Nintendo Black Star Promos}} and awarded through various European POP tournaments in July 2004. It was later reprinted as another Nintendo Black Star Promo with different artwork by [[Atsuko Nishida]] and was awarded through the [[Pokémon League]] in September 2003. The Japanese version was later released as part of a McDonald's campaign in January 2003. The print released through POP tournaments in Europe has a foil Poké Ball symbol in the bottom right of the illustration.

Release information

This card was included in the English EX Ruby & Sapphire expansion, first released in the Japanese Torchic Constructed Starter Deck, with artwork by Ken Sugimori.
