This is a chronological list of significant events in the Pokémon Adventures manga and the chapters which they occurred in, or, for events which happened outside the series, where they happened in relation to the chapters.

Pre-series

2 years prior	Green and Silver flee the Masked Man, with Green stealing the Rainbow and Silver Wings. Crystal undergoes training in Mt. Mortar.

The Secret of Kangaskhan	Blue is revealed to own a Pokédex. Blue is revealed to own a Venomoth. Red and Blue both start their journeys.
Wanted: Pikachu!	Red catches a Pikachu and nicknames him Pika. Blue tells Red about the power of Badges.
Onix is On!	Blue's Charmander is revealed to have evolved into a Charmeleon. Pika collaborates with Red. Red and Blue defeat Brock and win the Boulder Badge.
Gyarados Splashes In!	Red meets Misty. Red recaptures Misty's Gyarados and supposedly gives it back to her. Red joins Misty in her search for Team Rocket.
Raging Rhydon	Red and Misty meet Koga. Red obtains a Moon Stone.
Suddenly Starmie	Misty reveals that she is the Cerulean Gym Leader. Red loses a battle against Misty. Red and Misty train together. Red wins the Cascade Badge.
...But Fearow Itself!	Red meets Bill. Bill agrees to help Red with his Pokémon Storage System. Red catches a Bellsprout and Fearow.
Danger: High Voltorb	Red meets the Pokémon Fan Club Chairman. Red meets Lt. Surge.
Buzz Off, Electabuzz!	Poli evolves into Poliwrath. Red defeats Lt. Surge. All of the Pokémon stolen by Lt. Surge are returned to their original Trainers.
Wake Up—You're Snorlax!	Red is revealed to have obtained a Bicycle. Red catches a Snorlax, which he nicknames Snor.
Sigh for Psyduck	Red reaches Lavender Town. Red meets Mr. Fuji. Red catches up with Blue.
That Awful Arbok!	Red and Blue battle Koga.
Wartortle Wars	Red's Bulbasaur evolves into Ivysaur. Red meets Green. Red learns that Squirtle, the third first partner Pokémon, was stolen. Green steals Red's Badges.
Tauros the Tyrant	Red finds out that Green has stolen his Gym Badges. Red disguises himself as a Team Rocket Grunt and infiltrates their headquarters. Team Rocket tries to capture Green as she had stolen their Mew disc. Green is revealed to own a Jigglypuff nicknamed Jiggly, and a Ditto nicknamed Ditty.
The Jynx Jinx	Green meets Mew. Green gives Red fake Gym Badges.
A Tale of Ninetales	Blue wins a Porygon from the Rocket Game Corner. Blue is revealed to own a Scyther, Golduck, Machoke, and Pidgeot. Red and Blue accidentally trade some of their Pokémon. Red catches a Diglett and a Krabby with help from Blue's Pokémon. Blue's Machoke evolves into a Machamp while being under Red's possession. Red catches a Ninetales, but Blue claims it. Red and Blue return their own Pokémon to each other.
Blame it on Eevee	Red meets Erika. Red finds an Eevee.
Meanwhile...Vileplume!	Red captures the Eevee and nicknames it Vee. Red defeats Erika and receives the Rainbow Badge.
Long Live the Nidoking!	Red enters the Safari Zone. Red captures a Nidoqueen.
A Hollow Victreebel	Red catches multiple Nidoking, Weepinbell, Victreebel, Bellsprout, Parasect and Exeggcute at the Safari Zone.
Make Way for Magmar!	Pre-chapter Red catches a Sandshrew. Red meets Giovanni. Red receives the Old Amber from Giovanni.
What a Dragonite	Red attempts to obtain HM03 Surf, but ultimately fails.
You know... Articuno!	Misty gives her Gyarados, Gyara, to Red and takes his Krabby in exchange. Red arrives at Seafoam Islands and meets Articuno. Red encounters Team Rocket, who are trying to capture Articuno.
Holy Moltres	Red meets Blaine. Red gets his Old Amber revived into an Aerodactyl and nicknames it Aero.
Kalling Kadabra	Pre-chapter Blue's Charmeleon evolves into a Charizard. Red meets Sabrina.
Peace of Mime	Red and Blue enter Saffron City.
Go for the Golbat	Red begins battling Lt. Surge.
Zap! Zap! Zapdos!	Red defeats Lt. Surge. Red obtains the Thunder Badge.
The Art of Articuno	Red and Blue defeat Koga. Blue obtains the Soul Badge and gives it to Red.
A Little Kadabra’ll Do It	Green steals the Marsh Badge from Sabrina. Green gives the Marsh Badge to Red. Red finds out that the Gym Badges he received were fake.
The Winged Legends	Red, Green, and Blue defeat Team Rocket in Saffron City. Red's Moon Stone evolves Green's Clefairy, Clefy, into Clefable. Red's Ivysaur, Saur, evolves into Venusaur.
And Mewtwo Too!?	Red goes to the Cerulean Cave after hearing about the "Cerulean monster". Red meets up with Blaine, who is fighting a Mewtwo.
And Mewtwo... Three!	Red captures Mewtwo in a Master Ball. Red gives Mewtwo to Blaine.
Drat That Dratini!	Red meets Yellow. Yellow captures her first Pokémon, a Rattata.
Golly, Golem!	Red learns who Giovanni really is. Red makes a risky bet with Giovanni.
Long Live the Nidoqueen!?	Red's battle with Giovanni ends with Red winning. Red heads off to the Pokémon League.
Just a Spearow Carrier	Green is revealed to own a Nidoran♀ and a Weedle. Green, Dr. O, Red, and Blue reach the semi-finals of the Indigo League Tournament. Green reveals that she's also from Pallet Town. Green is given the third Pokédex and becomes a Pokédex holder. Green is defeated by Dr. O in the semi-finals, who then withdraws from the competition, leaving Red and Blue to battle in the final round of the Indigo League Tournament.
A Charizard... and a Champion	Red defeats Blue in the finals and becomes the ninth triennial Pokémon League Champion.

After the Red, Green & Blue arc

Do do that Doduo	Yellow arrives in Pallet Town and is revealed to be searching for Red. Professor Oak entrusts Pika and Red's Pokédex in Yellow's care.
Sea Sea Seadra	Yellow meets Bill. Yellow captures a Seadra.
Do Wrong, Dewgong!	Yellow and Bill meet Lorelei. Lorelei reveals that Red has been defeated by Bruno in a battle.
Cloystered	The Kanto Elite Four learn of Yellow's powers and make her their target as well as Pika.
Whacked by Marowak!	Yellow meets Erika in Celadon City. Pika has a dream of what happened to Red. Super Nerd Miles steals Pika.
Purrrr-sian	Yellow attempts to chase down Super Nerd Miles. Erika gets into contact with Blaine.
Paras Sight	Misty, Brock, Erika, and Blaine come to help Yellow against Super Nerd Miles. The five Trainers defeat Miles and free Pika.
As Gastly as Before	A Gastly owned by Agatha of the Elite Four tries to take Super Nerd Miles. Yellow saves a Caterpie from the Gastly. Blue appears and defeats the Gastly. Yellow goes off with Blue to train. Yellow receives Misty's Omanyte and Brock's Graveler. She nicknames them Omny and Gravvy, respectively.
Lapras Lazily	Blue begins to discuss the events that led him to meet Agatha to Yellow.
Electro Magneton	Flashback: Blue meets Agatha. Blue is put to sleep by Agatha's Gengar.
Growing Out of Gengar	Flashback: Blue escapes Agatha's Gengar with the help of Camper Evan.
Can't Catch Caterpie!	Yellow catches the Caterpie she saved earlier. Yellow's Rattata evolves into a Raticate.
Pidgeotto Pick-Me-Up	Yellow names her Caterpie Kitty.
The Primeape Directive	Yellow's training with Blue has been going on for one week now. Yellow and Blue are attacked by a group of Mankey. Yellow decides to train alone and goes separate ways away with Blue.
The Coming of Slowpoke (Eventually)	Yellow meets the Pokémon Fan Club Chairman. The Team Rocket Elite Trio return. The S.S. Anne starts to sink.
Ekans the Ecstasy	The S.S. Anne sinks in Vermilion Harbor due to the actions of the Team Rocket Elite Trio.
The Kindest Tentacruel	Yellow is told about the legend of the Vermilion Harbor by the Pokémon Fan Club Chairman. Yellow rescues a trapped Tentacool after being taken by a Tentacruel.
Hitmonlee, Baby (One More Time)	Green tries to convince Bill to let her use his Pokémon Storage System. Green and Bill are attacked by a Hitmonlee.
Breath of the Dragonair Part 1	Yellow tries to get a Water-type Pokémon to leave Vermilion. Yellow enters in a surfing contest for an injured Swimmer. Green and Bill continue the chase to get the Hitmonlee.
Breath of the Dragonair Part 2	Lance destroys Vermilion. Yellow borrows the Swimmer's Slowpoke. The battle between Blasty and Hitmonlee continues. Lance tells Yellow part of the plan to get rid of humans.
Breath of the Dragonair Part 3	Yellow and Lance conclude their first battle at Vermilion Harbor. Pika learns the move Surf by using Substitute.
Extricated from Exeggutor	Yellow helps a wild Farfetch'd find its nest.
Putting It on the Line... Against Arcanine	Brock contacts Blaine about the ice sculpture of Red he found.
Karate Machop!	Pokémon are destroying the cities of Kanto while some of Kanto's Gym Leaders are trying to fight them. Blue and Yellow reach Cerise Island.
Punching Poliwrath	Misty tries to save her city from the Gengar. Flashback: The battle between Red and Bruno starts.
Can You Diglett?	Flashback: The battle between Red and Bruno continues. Agatha and Lorelei interrupt the battle. Agatha and Lorelei tell Red the reason he was called up.
Jigglypuff Jive	Pika continues its dream of the events on how Red got frozen. Lorelei and Agatha try to recruit Red with them. Red refuses and is turned into ice. Pika escapes from the Elite Four.
Playing Horsea	Bill and Green reach Cerise Island. Bill, Green, and Yellow meet up with the others.
Allied by Alazakam!	Sabrina uses the Spoons of Destiny so the group can fight the Elite Four in different groups. Blue returns Koga's Golbat.
Muk Raking	Koga and Blue fight against Agatha. Koga and Blue get separated.
Weezing Winks Out	Koga and Blue defeat Agatha.
Valiant Venomoth!	Sabrina and Green battle Lorelei after being frozen on the arms by her dolls of the duo. Sabrina defeats one of Lorelei's Pokémon. Bill and Lt. Surge end up in a lake in Cerise Island.
Make Way for Magikarp	Lt. Surge and Bill are challenged to a battle by Bruno. Yellow and Blaine catch up to Lt. Surge and Bill, but are blocked to be noticed.
Electrode's Big Shock	Lt. Surge and Bill battle against Bruno and win.
Take a Chance on Chansey	Super Nerd Miles is still unconscious from being controlled by a Gastly. Agatha has a flashback of her battling Professor Oak, revealing her motivations for considering him an enemy, and Oak's own ambitions in creating the Pokédex.
Striking Golduck	Blue and Koga try to get out of Agatha's maze. Blue and Koga get attacked by Agatha's Gengar. Brock, Erika, and Misty try to protect their cities against the Elite Four's Pokémon. The Elite Four's Pokémon land in the remaining Kanto cities.
Victim of Venusaur	Red returns. Red finds Lt. Surge by using the Spoon of Destiny that he was given.
Airing Out Aerodactyl	Misty and Erika find out the Elite Four's motive. Blaine battles against Lance.
Draggin' In Dragonair	Blaine continues his battle against Lance.
Aerodactyl Redux	Blaine and Yellow try to defeat Lance.
Eradicate Raticate!	Yellow realizes the reason she was chosen to take on the Elite Four: She shares the same powers as Lance.
Bang the Drum, Slowbro	Sabrina battles against Lorelei.
Clefabulous Clefable	Green tells Lorelei her plan to have Yellow find Red. Red's battle with Bruno continues. Bruno loses the battle.
Gimme Shellder	Red is broken free out of the ice by Giovanni and is given a Spoon of Destiny. Red gets his Pokédex back. Blue tries to fight Agatha and her Gengar. It is revealed that Bruno was mind-controlled by the rest of the Elite Four. Agatha reveals some of the plan of the Elite Four.
Double Dragonair	Lance is revealed to come from Viridian Forest.
Rhyhorn Rising	Giovanni appears.
The Beedrill All and End All	Lugia's spirit appears above Cerise Island.
The Might of... Metapod!?	Yellow's Pokémon evolve. Kitty evolves into Metapod and then Butterfree. Dody evolves into Dodrio. Omny evolves into Omastar. Gravvy evolves into Golem.
The Legend	Yellow and Lance conclude their second battle at Cerise Island. Pika is reunited with Red.

After the Yellow arc

Sneasel Sneak Attack	Silver steals a Totodile from Professor Elm's laboratory. Gold and Silver meet for the first time. Gold takes a Cyndaquil from Elm's desk and nicknames it Exbo. The Poké Ball revealing Polibo floats to the river after being tossed aside by Team Rocket Grunts.
Elekid Incorporated	Gold discovers his backpack was stolen by Team Rocket in error and not by Silver. Silver is revealed to own a Pokédex. Silver battles the Rocket grunt and wins.
Stantler by Me	Gold is defeated by Professor Oak. Gold receives his Pokédex.
Number One Donphan	Professor Elm finds out that Gold has taken Exbo. Gold learns that Polibo is missing. Gold stops a thief from stealing Earl Dervish's package. Gold finds out that Silver is at Sprout Tower.
Bellsprout Rout	Gold breaks into Sprout Tower. Gold confronts Silver.
Totodile Rock	Gold's Exbo and Silver's Totodile work together to break a giant metal ball. Silver's Totodile evolves into a Croconaw.
Sunkern Treasure	Gold catches a Sunkern. Falkner catches a Skarmory.
Into the Unown	Gold meets Bugsy
Teddiursa's Picnic	Gold receives an Egg. Silver receives a Heavy Ball. Gold receives a Friend Ball. Gold and Maizie find Teddiursa and confront Silver. Gold twists his ankle trying save Maizie from Teddiursa and Ursaring.
Ursaring Major	Gold catches Teddiursa and Silver catches Ursaring. Gold gives Teddiursa to Maizie. Silver attacks Team Rocket and ties them up.
You Ain't Nothing but a Houndour	Gold goes into the Ilex Forest. Gold meets the Masked Man.
The Ariados up There	The Masked Man disappears. Gold leaves the Ilex Forest.
Smeargle Smudge	Falkner is appointed as Gym Leader. Gold walks in on DJ Mary's show. The race between Gold and Whitney begins.
How Do You Do, Sudowoodo?	Gold catches a Sudowoodo and wins the race.
Gligar Glide	A wild Gligar steals Gold's Egg and his Pokémon get it back. The Egg hatches into a Togepi, which is nicknamed Togebo/Togetaro.
Quilava Quandary	Gold trains his Pokémon on the Pokémon Day Care Center. An earthquake destroys most of Ecruteak City. Gold's Exbo evolves into a Quilava.
Ampharos Amore	Jasmine and Amphy are stuck inside the Tin Tower after an earthquake at Ecruteak City. Silver helps Jasmine from the rubble after being trapped. Gold and Silver are trapped inside the Tin Tower as it starts to sink into the ground. Gold's Polibo evolves into Poliwhirl and then into Politoed. Gold and Silver escape but are surrounded but Team Rocket Grunts.
Piloswine Whine	Gold and Silver fight against Carl and the Team Rocket Grunts.
Tyranitar War	Gold and Silver battle each other and Silver wins. Yellow's uncle comes to tell her to come to Johto.
Raise the Red Gyarados	Silver goes to the Lake of Rage after spotting weird radio waves. Silver captures the Red Gyarados. Silver tells Gold to stop interfering and later leads to a battle.
Delibird Delivery -1	Gold and Silver fight against the Masked Man.
Delibird Delivery -2	Gold and Silver continue their battle against Masked Man, but lose horribly.
Forretress of Solitude	Red is revealed to suffer from numbness on his hands and legs due to being frozen by Lorelei. Red starts the test to become Viridian City's Gym Leader.
Rock, Paper... Scizor	Red passes the test to become Viridian City's Gym Leader but declines the position as Gym Leader. Blue catches Exeggutor, Arcanine, Alakazam, and Rhydon that were rampaging due to the radio. Red leaves Gyara with Blue (off-screen). Blue loans his Charizard to Red. Red leaves Pika with Yellow and departs to Mt. Silver. Yellow, Pika, and Chuchu head for the Johto region.
Slugging It Out With Slugma	Crystal gets a Pokédex and helps with Professor Oak's research to fill up the Johto Pokédex. Raikou, Entei, and Suicune leave the Burned Tower.
Three Cheers for Chikorita	Crystal catches thirty Pokémon in Cherrygrove City. Crystal catches a Chikorita and a Victreebel. She nicknames the Chikorita Megaree/Mega.
A Flaaffy Kerfuffle	Crystal finds out that she cannot transport Pokémon to Professor Oak as the Pokémon Transporter is not working. Professor Oak and Professor Elm speed up repairs for the transporter. Crystal captures a Flaaffy and a Dunsparce.
Surrounded by Staryu	Crystal creates the Pokémon Portable Transporter. Crystal saves Bill from a herd of Staryu.
Off Course with Corsola	Crystal saves Lt. Surge and herself from a herd of Corsola.
Querulous Qwilfish	Crystal encounters Suicune at the Battle Tower.
Debonaire Dragonair	Suicune begins its journey of finding a worthy master. Clair is the first Gym Leader Suicune fights.
Scrappy Skarmory	Suicune battles with Chuck and his friend Walker.
Misdreavus Misgivings	Suicune battles with Morty.
Jumping Jumpluff!	Crystal searches for Suicune. Crystal meets Eusine, another Suicune chaser.
Miltank Melee	Crystal and Eusine encounter Ditto. Team Rocket confront Suicune.
Indubitably Ditto	Crystal and Eusine defeat Ditto. Eusine confronts Team Rocket.
Great Girafarig	Eusine battles with Team Rocket Grunts. Crystal arrives at the Burned Tower.
Suddenly Suicune (Part 1)	Crystal battles Suicune.
Suddenly Suicune (Part 2)	Crystal continues her battle with Suicune.
Suddenly Suicune (Part 3)	Crystal fails to capture Suicune. Eusine carries Crystal from the Tin Tower. Crystal fails to capture a Pokémon for the first time.

Hurray for Heracross	Bugsy battles with Suicune and loses.
Lively Larvitar	Crystal looks back on how she had gotten her Pokémon. Crystal tries to use her feet as her hands after being broken. Crystal and her Pokémon get attacked by a Larvitar that had hurt her Archy before. Crystal's Megaree evolves into Bayleef. Crystal captures the Larvitar.
Crossing Crobat	Janine battles Suicune and loses. Janine tries to find a master.
Really Raikou & Entirely Entei (Part 1)	Falkner battles Raikou and Entei.
Really Raikou & Entirely Entei (Part 2)	Suicune joins the battle. Falkner battles Raikou, Entei, and Suicune but fails to capture them.
Raising Raichu	Lt. Surge battles the Masked Man. Lt. Surge flees.
Do-Si-Do with Dodrio	Lt. Surge finds a Red Gyarados.
Hello, Lickitung	A swarm of Lickitung attack Yellow and Crystal.
Really Remoraid	Yellow, Crystal and Wilton encounter Lugia. Morty finds where Gold and Silver are.
Irked Igglybuff and Curmudgeonly Cleffa	Whitney battles Suicune.
Savvy Swinub	Whitney continues her battle with Suicune while Pryce helps her. "Suicune" is revealed to be merely an ice sculpture, controlled by Pryce.
Sandslash Surprise	Gold and Silver escape from a herd of Sandslash. Lt. Surge finds Gold and Silver.
Lively Lugia (Part 1)	Crystal, Gold, and Silver try to fight a Lugia that was attacking them. The three Pokédex owners finally meet up.
Lively Lugia (Part 2)	Crystal, Gold, and Silver try to fight a Lugia which was attacking them.
Lively Lugia (Part 3)	Crystal, Gold, and Silver try to defeat the Lugia attacking them at the Whirl Islands. Exbo, Megaree, and Croconaw evolve to their final stage. Gold tries to catch Lugia, but it escapes.
Curious Kingdra	Crystal, Gold, and Silver try to look for the Lugia that attacked them. Silver goes to Lance to get the Pokémon he needs to fight Lugia.
Chinchou in Charge	All of the Gym Leaders of both Kanto and Johto are called to Goldenrod City. Misty falls off the bridge over Tohjo Falls on her way to Goldenrod City. Misty battles against Suicune.
Lovely Lanturn	Misty catches Suicune. Misty, Brock, and Erika find out that they have to fight the Johto Gym Leaders in the upcoming Pokémon League.
Buzz Off, Butterfree!	Yellow lifts Suicune, Entei, and Raikou's curse and opens the exit to the real world.
Oh, It's Ho-Oh!	The 10th Pokémon League begins. The Masked Man begins his battle with Ho-Oh.
Yikes, It's Yanma!	The 16 Gym Leaders find out who they are battling against.
Capital Kabutops	Jasmine defeats Brock in the first round, resulting in Kanto: 0 and Johto: 1.
Notorious Noctowl	Misty defeats Whitney in the second round, resulting in Kanto: 1 and Johto: 1. Falkner defeats Janine in the third round, resulting in Kanto: 1 and Johto: 2.
Magnificent Magnemite	Morty and Lt. Surge begin their battle.
Silly Scyther	Morty's and Lt. Surge's battle ends in a draw. Bugsy loses to Sabrina, resulting in Kanto: 2 and Johto: 2.
Popular Pupitar	It is revealed how Silver obtained Tyranitar. Silver confronts Lance.
Playful Porygon2	Yellow wakes up in a Day Care. Pika and Chuchu create an Egg. Red has revealed that he lent Gyara to Blue. Silver arrives for the Indigo League. A sudden heat wave appears.
Entranced by Entei	Blue and Silver battle Entei. Blue battles Chuck. Silver looks for Entei. Blaine is revealed to have Entei.
Heckled by Hitmontop	Blue beats Chuck, resulting in Kanto: 3 and Johto: 2.
Bringing up Bellossom	Pryce defeats Erika, resulting in Kanto: 3 and Johto: 3.
Slick Slowking	Crystal and Gold battle against Sham and Carl in the Control Room of Indigo Plateau. They end up winning but are locked in.
Lugia and Ho-Oh on the Loose, Part 1	Team Rocket members arrive by using the Linear Motor System at Indigo Plateau and attack the Gym Leaders. The Masked Man appears with Ho-Oh and Lugia.

Yellow is forced to reveal her true identity to everyone in order to free Gold. The Johto Pokédex holders go into the Crack in Time to face Pryce. Gold manages to defeat Pryce, who willingly lets himself fall deeper into the Crack in Time. Koga and Bruno invite Will and Karen into a new Elite Four. Gold makes Red train him at Mt. Silver. The Kanto Gym Leaders are declared the winners of the tournament. The Pokémon League is suspended due to the damages it suffered.

PSs1	Red and Gold continue their Mt. Silver training. Hirō attempts to interview Red, much to Gold's annoyance. Pibu is kidnapped by someone, who proceeds to knock the wind out of Gold. Red and Pika attempt to rescue Pibu. The attackers are revealed to be a wild Poliwrath and Venusaur.
PSs2	Red and Pika battle the wild Poliwrath and Venusaur that kidnapped Pibu. Due to their high level and being same species as Poli and Saur, Pika has trouble facing his opponents. After calming him down, Red has Pika defeat the two Pokémon and rescue Pibu. Sometime later, Red reveals that the Super Rising Thunder technique Pibu used to defeat the Masked Man is actually named Volt Tackle. To help master the technique, Red lends Gold his gloves. Red and Pika go off to meet up with Blue.
Eight years prior to the Diamond & Pearl arc	Diamond and Pearl see the comedy show that inspires them to become comedians.

It All Ends Now I	September 17 Ruby goes out to fight with Courtney. Due to the energy of Kyogre and Groudon being trapped, it slowly rises to the sky. The reason why Ruby teamed up with Courtney is revealed.
It All Ends Now II	September 17 Ruby and Courtney attempt to stop Kyogre and Groudon. Rayquaza arrives to battle with Kyogre and Groudon.
It All Ends Now III	September 17 Courtney tries to tell Ruby that the person controlling Rayquaza is Norman. A tentacle pulls Courtney inside the Cave of Origin. The Cave of Origin collapses, with Courtney inside. Courtney's past is revealed. A dying Courtney reveals to Ruby everything she knows.
It All Ends Now IV	September 17 Ruby learns the truth on why Norman didn't retake the Gym Leader test five years ago. Ruby teams up with his dad and stops Kyogre and Groudon. Kyogre and Groudon return to their slumber. Steven and Norman suddenly become unresponsive.
It All Ends Now V	September 17 Steven dies from exhaustion. Groudon and Kyogre leave to sleep once more. Regirock, Regice Registeel, and Rayquaza leave. Ruby learns that he was the reason why Norman had to wait to take his Gym Leader test again. Archie and Maxie reappear to take revenge on Ruby.
It All Ends Now VI	September 18 Maxie and Archie attack Ruby. Wallace rescues Sapphire from his aircar. Sapphire tries to help Ruby, but is blocked by a barrier surrounding Sootopolis. Plusle and Minun, with the help of the Robot King, create a hole in the barrier. Wallace goes to fight Maxie and Archie.
It All Ends Now VII	September 18 Wallace faces Maxie and Archie. By using Winona as a hostage, Maxie and Archie defeat Wallace. Feefee returns to defend Ruby, but is defeated. Ruby gets a Ribbon from Wallace. Ruby decides that Feefee is beautiful, despite outwardly appearances. Ruby's Feefee evolves into Milotic.
It All Ends Now VIII	September 18 Ruby and Sapphire defeat Maxie and Archie. September 19 Ruby is revealed to have captured Celebi prior to moving to Hoenn, and releases it. Celebi uses its powers to revive Norman, Steven, and Courtney. September 20 Ruby wins all Ribbons, while Sapphire gets her last Gym Badge. Peace returns to the Hoenn region. The Red and Blue Orbs turn into gems, which are found by Giovanni.

Old Ultima Puts Them to the Test	Red and Blue arrive on Two Island. Red and Blue go train with Ultima to defeat Deoxys. Red and Blue get through Ultima's first two trials and start their third.

A Vicious Cycle of Possibilities	On Three Island, a gang of Bikers attempt to destroy the area, but are stopped by a mysterious Pokémon, later revealed to be Deoxys. Giovanni is revealed to be at the Sevii Islands.

A Beastly Cold Reception	Red, Blue, Bill, and Lorelei encounter Carr, Orm, and Sird of the Three Beasts. Lorelei manages to get everyone away from the Three Beasts. Carr, Orm, and Sird send out a hit-list for Red, Blue, and Green.

Dealing With A Koffing Fit	Silver arrives at the Whirl Islands looking for Lance. Silver encounters Clair, who is also looking for Lance. They are attacked by a gang of Koffing, but Silver drives them off and steals an item one was holding. Silver is revealed to own an upgraded Pokédex. Silver's Sneasel and Murkrow evolve into Weavile and Honchkrow, respectively. Carr is revealed to have taken over Team Rocket, but is stopped by the four Executives, Archer, Ariana, Proton, and Petrel.
Weavile Wobbles But It Won't Fall Down	Silver travels to the Safari Zone to search for clues to Lance's disappearance. Silver encounters Eusine at the Safari Zone. Petrel attacks Silver. Silver defeats Petrel and steals his Plates.

Raising the Stakes with Rhyperior	Silver reveals that he obtained a Rhyperior from Blue via trade. Crystal is left behind to face Ariana alone. Silver goes to Ecruteak to meet up with Morty. All About Arceus V	Petrel reveals that Carr told him that Silver was Giovanni's son. Petrel reveals that he intends on betraying Archer when they find Giovanni. In an attempt to silence Silver, Petrel blinds and mutes him. Silver sacrifices himself to distract Team Rocket. Gold and Crystal use the Ultimate Moves to destroy Dialga, Palkia, and Giratina. Arceus completes itself and sends the Executives flying. Crystal cures Silver's blindness. Dialga, Palkia, and Giratina quickly reform, as they cannot be destroyed once the creation process starts. When Petrel tries to escape by disguising as Giovanni, he is defeated by the real one. Giovanni, along with Lance and Pryce, comes to help.
All About Arceus VI	Ken, Al, and Harry are revealed to be guarding the Ilex Forest for Giovanni. Giovanni, Pryce, and Lance battle Giratina, Dialga, and Palkia, respectively. The Sinjoh Ruins are revealed to exist in an alternate dimension that links up the Johto and Sinnoh regions. Pryce reveals that it was Celebi who brought him back.
All About Arceus VII	Pryce reveals that it was Celebi brought him back because it sensed that Arceus would cause the destruction of Johto. Archer, disappointed that Giovanni wasn't like he expected to be, tries to capture Arceus himself, but is easily defeated. Giovanni, Pryce, and Lance take their battles outside. Gold stays behind to combat Arceus.
All About Arceus VIII	Giovanni, Pryce, and Lance continue their battles outside the Sinjoh Ruins. Celebi is revealed to be gathering the cure to Giovanni's disease with Pibu's assistance. Giovanni's disease begins to affect him again, forcing Silver to take his place in the battle against Giratina. Gold's team is defeated, sans Togebo. Gold manages to fully connect with Togebo, allowing him to evolve twice, first into Togetic and then into Togekiss. Togebo attacks Arceus, not doing any damage, but manages to calm it down.
All About Arceus IX	Gold's Pibu and the Spiky-eared Pichu help Ken, Al, and Harry by gathering the herbs for Giovanni's cure. Several Team Rocket Grunts attack Ken, Al, and Harry because they don't believe that Giovanni had returned. Giratina is forced to return to the Distortion World while Dialga and Palkia go somewhere else. Lance reveals that Petrel defeated him by disguising himself as the person who disturbs Lance the most, Yellow. Giovanni is given the cure to his disease by Celebi. Giovanni decides to continue leading Team Rocket and invites Silver to join. Silver refuses, and instead promises to defeat Giovanni himself. Pryce decides to return to his Gym. Silver returns the Glacier Badge to Pryce. Cynthia meets Palmer, who is revealed to have captured Regigigas but plans on returning it to the Snowpoint Temple. The Radio Director reveals that he intends on creating a TV show, Proteam Omega. Red's Snor and Emerald's Snorlax are revealed to have made an Egg. Silver decides to watch the Radio Director's show. Whitney is revealed to have a crush on Bruno and sends him gifts. Silver returns the Plain Badge to Whitney. In the Sinnoh region, Johanna gives Diamond some food, only to see that he's gone to a comedy competition.

Ruby's Rara evolves into a Gardevoir while Sapphire's Kiruru evolves into a Gallade.
Latias Flies	It is revealed that Ruby has a Mega Bracelet and Latios and Latias have their respective Mega Stones. Steven contacts his father and sends him the strange murals found in Granite Cave.
Claydol Unleashes	Ruby and Latios travel to the Sky Pillar after using Mega Evolution for the first time. It is revealed that Steven has the Mega Stones for the respective Hoenn first partner Pokémon evolutions. Ruby meets Zinnia and battles her. Ruby manages to beat Zinnia and asks for her help to stop the crisis about to hit Hoenn. An asteroid is expected to hit Hoenn in 10 days.
Salamence Evolves	Ruby and Zinnia continue and finish their battle. It is revealed that the Salamence that attacked Ruby and Sapphire was Zinnia's Salamence. Both Sapphire and Emerald master Mega Evolution.
Gorebyss Changes Color	Ruby reveals that he and Emerald learned about the meteoroid from Steven prior to asking Zinnia. Ruby is revealed to own an upgraded Pokédex. Mr. Stone tells everyone to head to Sea Mauville. Amber returns to the Team Aqua Hideout and finds Blaise, who proposes they team up.
Beedrill Prepares	Blaise reveals he saw Giovanni taking the Ruby and Sapphire after the battle on Sootopolis City. Blaise tells Amber that the Red and Blue Orbs have returned to Hoenn. Gabby tells Ty that she intends on investigating Ruby's strange statement from earlier. Absol appears in front of Gabby and Ty and asks them to come with it. Sapphire and Emerald's group arrives at Sea Mauville. Sapphire meets Plusle and Minun again. Ultima and Mr. Briney talk about the Absorber that Mr. Stone used. As Emerald goes to relieve himself, a mysterious ring appears behind him.
PS602	Emerald encounters a mysterious Pokémon and battles it. Steven assists Emerald and reveals that he can use Mega Evolution as well. The Pokémon escapes. Ruby and Latios leave the Sky Pillar. Ruby reveals he learned about Zinnia through Courtney's memory lighter. Zinnia is revealed to have been the one who told Team Magma about Groudon. As Ruby and Latios head back, they are attacked by three Draconids.
PS603	The Draconids attack Ruby. The Draconids reveal that a person named Aster was destined to stop the meteoroid, but her death led Zinnia into taking up her role in her place. Pieces of the meteoroid fall onto the planet and knock Ruby and Latios into the sea. Ruby wakes up in a cave and is told by Latios that a Diancie rescued them. Latios and Latias show Ruby where Sapphire and Emerald are. Mr. Stone and Steven begin using the Absorber to drain the energy from Chic and Sceptile's Mega-Evolved states. Ruby decides to not side with Devon or Zinnia and instead aims to take up the role of controlling Rayquaza and stop the meteoroid by himself.
PS604	Ruby and Latios continue heading off. Zinnia and a small army of Team Magma and Team Aqua Grunts arrive at Sea Mauville. Zinnia reveals that in addition to Team Magma, she infiltrated Team Aqua and made friends in both teams who agreed to stop the Devon Corporation. Zinnia sends the Grunts to battle in order to steal the dimensional shifter. Sapphire attempts to keep the dimensional shifter away, but has her Mega Bracelet taken away by Zinnia. Zinnia reveals everything about the meteoroid to Sapphire. During the commotion, the mysterious Pokémon takes Sapphire away. Ruby arrives at Sea Mauville to stop the fighting and Mega Evolves Mumu into Mega Swampert. Gabby and Ty continue their investigation, and have discovered meteors falling in six different locations.
PS605	Sapphire ends up in the rocket shuttle in Mossdeep City. Sapphire hands Professor Cozmo the dimensional shifter. The battle against Zinnia continues. Steven reveals that his Metagross also had its life energy drained for the dimensional shifter. Emerald reveals the culprit to Sapphire's disappearance is the Pokémon he encountered before: Hoopa. Zinnia goes after Steven's Key Stone, but Ruby stops her. Ruby gives his and Emerald's Mega Bracelets to Zinnia to convince her to leave. Zinnia leaves, but Ruby reveals he took her scroll. Blaise and Amber spy from afar and aim to obtain Hoopa for its ability to summon Legendary Pokémon. The Lumiose Press editor-in-chief releases the information about the meteoroid to the press, causing the entire Hoenn region to know about it.
PS606	Ultima looks at the scroll Ruby took from Zinnia and discovers it will teach the move Dragon Ascent. Steven contacts Professor Cozmo and learns Sapphire is in Mossdeep City, but isn't able to speak. Steven and Mr. Stone head to the Mossdeep Space Center. Amber and Blaise attack Hoopa. Archie and Maxie steal the Red and Blue Orbs and return to Hoenn.
PS607	Red and Green battle Archie and Maxie. Bill reveals that the Ruby and Sapphire have been regenerating back into the Red and Blue Orbs and believes them to be the embodiment of Hoenn's natural energy. Red, Green, Archie, and Maxie are revealed to be able to use Mega Evolution. Groudon and Kyogre fully emerge from Hoopa's ring and begin heading towards the Red and Blue Orbs. Blaise and Amber are discovered by Ruby and Emerald, but manage to escape. Blaise and Amber meet with Archie and Maxie, but ask who they are. Jinga, Renza, and Tomatoma head to Meteor Falls, where they talk with an old woman about Groudon and Kyogre's awakening.
PS608	Maxie and Archie team up with Groudon and Kyogre, respectively, and turn them into their Primal forms. Ruby and Emerald defeat Blaise's Slugma and escape the illusions. Groudon defeats Red and Green while Kyogre traps the S.S. Tidal in a whirlpool. Steven and Mr. Stone arrive at Mossdeep City. Sapphire tells Steven that Zinnia has arrived to attack the rocket and sets off to stop her.
PS609	Sapphire and Zinnia continue their battle. Rono is revealed to have been present during the incident where Zinnia's Salamence attacked. Four new Aqua and Magma Admins reveal themselves, revealing that the names of Tabitha, Shelly, Matt, and Courtney are codenames given to multiple different generations of Admins. The rocket is successfully launched, but Zinnia follows after it with Sapphire following her. After battling on the rocket, Zinnia attacks Sapphire with her Salamence. Ruby and Emerald attempt to get into Meteor Falls, but are unable to get past Primal Groudon and Kyogre. Archie and Maxie use Groudon and Kyogre to defeat Ruby and Emerald. Archie and Maxie reveal their reappearance is all for the sake of saving the world from destruction.
PS610	Ruby and Emerald wake up inside the Meteor Village. The village Elder, an old Draconid woman called "Grannie", reveals that the Draconids rescued Ruby, Emerald, Mr. Briney, Ultima, and Drake. Grannie reveals that Maxie and Archie are teaching Groudon and Kyogre Precipice Blades and Origin Pulse in order to stop the disaster. Tomatoma reveals that Zinnia defeated Sapphire and destroyed the dimensional shifter. Norman arrives and helps determine that Rayquaza is currently in Johto and may be heading to the science building where it was held captive in the past. Emerald is revealed to own an upgraded Pokédex. With Hoopa's rings, Ruby and Norman head to Johto to find Rayquaza. Rayquaza flies over Goldenrod City.
PS611	Ruby and Norman arrive at the old Pokémon Association building. Norman reveals that the operation to capture and study Rayquaza was funded by the House of Berlitz. Norman uncovers footage of the operation to capture Rayquaza, which was headed by Mr. Stone. In the footage, Mr. Stone leads a group of men to the Embedded Tower, where Rayquaza was located at the time. Rayquaza appears and begins attacking the men, but Ruby notices a person standing on top of Rayquaza's head that causes it to Mega Evolve. Norman reveals that he was given the Green Orb core from Emerald and uses a machine to change its color to jade and increases its power to control Rayquaza. Rayquaza appears outside of the facility and begins feeding on meteoroid shards that have fallen into Johto. Ruby and Norman attempt to battle Rayquaza in order to capture it, but Ruby gets captured. Ruby uses the scroll to teach Rayquaza Dragon Ascent, but is unsure if it worked. Ruby reveals that he plans on destroying the meteoroid with Sapphire.
PS612	The Hoenn Frontier Brains defeat the Admins of Neo Team Magma and Neo Team Aqua. Sapphire wakes up inside a Secret Base on Route 120, where she meets Aarune. Aarune reveals that he rescued Sapphire after her defeat and healed her Troppy at a Pokémon Center. Emerald locates Sapphire through Hoopa's ring. Maxie and Archie emerge from their training space, having finished their training with Groudon and Kyogre. Ruby and Norman use Hoopa's ring to return to the Meteor Village. When Rayquaza sees Groudon and Kyogre through Hoopa's ring, it goes wild and throws Norman off of its back. Rayquaza attempts to attack Groudon and Kyogre, only for Hoopa to use its rings to send Rayquaza to Sapphire's location. Ruby is thrown far away by Rayquaza, but is saved by Wally. Wally battles Rayquaza in an attempt to subdue it, but is stopped by Ruby. Ruby attempts to reason with Rayquaza, only to notice that Sapphire has appeared in front of him.
PS613	Ruby apologizes to Sapphire. Sapphire agrees to help Ruby ride with Rayquaza. Emerald, Maxie, and Archie arrive at Route 120. Hoopa is left injured due to Maxie and Archie forcing their way through its ring. Ruby, Sapphire, Maxie, and Archie combine the powers of Rayquaza, Groudon, and Kyogre to attack incoming meteoroids. Red wakes up on the Team Rocket airship, where he meets with Green, Blaise, and Amber. Giovanni appears and reveals he came to help destroy the meteoroid.
PS614	Ruby, Sapphire, Maxie, and Archie continue attacking the small meteoroid, but are unable to fully destroy it, causing pieces to crash into Groudon and Kyogre. Maxie and Archie's bodies begin breaking apart. Blaise and Amber go to help their leaders, only to find their bodies crumbling away. Maxie and Archie reveal how they returned from their supposed deaths. Sapphire tells Ruby that Rayquaza needs power in order to Mega Evolve and destroy the meteoroid. Zinnia attacks Ruby and Sapphire.
PS615	Zinnia attacks Ruby and Sapphire in order to get Rayquaza away from them. Using a Noivern that belonged to Aster, Zinnia lures Rayquaza away. Sapphire regains the use of her voice. Zinnia attempts to convince Rayquaza to join her, but is rejected and sent flying. Ruby and Sapphire meet with Emerald. Emerald reveals that Rayquaza is in a rage above Sootopolis City and that Latios rescued Zinnia. Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald meet up with Steven and Mr. Stone in Sootopolis. Mr. Stone attempts to apologize for his misdeeds, but Zinnia rejects his words. Believing that she can't take Aster's place, Zinnia gives up on saving the world. Angered by her words, Emerald says that there's still something they can do to help save the world.
PS616	Zinnia reveals that the Lorekeeper's will not survive the mission to ride Rayquaza into space. Red, Green, Giovanni, Blaise, and Amber arrive to help. Giovanni reveals he is in possession of a Key Stone, while Blaise and Amber are revealed to have taken their Leaders' Key Stones and Mega-Evolving Pokémon. By using Mega Evolution, Giovanni reveals that the meteoroid may be housing a Pokémon inside of it. The Hoenn Gym Leaders, Elite Four, Frontier Brains, and scientific minds come to assist in stopping the meteoroid. Emerald contacts the Johto Pokédex holders to ask for assistance from Kanto and Johto. Gold reveals that Norman is safe with him and the others. Ruby introduces Sapphire to the Elder, who gives them a Gardevoirite for Rara and a Galladite for Kirly. Steven gives Zinnia a jar of Key Stones that used to belong to Aster that were taken from the Embedded Tower. Steven reveals that his Key Stone was given to him from Gurkinn. Zinnia collapses from her injuries. When Ruby wonders who should go on Rayquaza, Sapphire asks if he's going to back to his old ways. Wallace, Juan, Tate, Liza, and Lisia arrive at Sootopolis. When Sapphire sees Ruby talking to Lisia, she assumes Ruby is flirting and leaves in a huff. Ruby attempts to explain himself, but Sapphire attacks by Mega Evolving Kirly, forcing Ruby to Mega Evolve Rara to defend himself. Ruby tells Sapphire that he wishes to become Lorekeeper and stop the meteoroid together with her. Professor Cozmo discovers that the meteoroid is the same as the Grand Meteor shard he found four years ago. One of Professor Cozmo's assistants decides to name the meteoroid Grand Meteor Delta. Ruby and Sapphire tell Zinnia about their plan to take over as Lorekeeper, which the latter reluctantly accepts. Later, Emerald and the Trick Master tell Ruby and Sapphire that the Magma and Aqua Suits are finished, only to find the two in Contest outfits.
Omega Alpha Adventure 21	Ruby and Sapphire are outfitted with the Magma and Aqua Suits. Rayquaza takes Ruby and Sapphire to confront Grand Meteor Delta in space. Ruby and Sapphire Mega Evolve Rayquaza and have it attack Grand Meteor Delta. Back on Earth, Steven commands the three regions to attack Grand Meteor Delta at once. Grand Meteor Delta is destroyed, but a Deoxys that was contained inside emerges from a Delta Shield. As Ruby and Sapphire confront the Deoxys, Giovanni confirms that the Deoxys is Organism No. 1 that was disposed of by Team Rocket. Ruby and Sapphire defeat Organism No. 1 by shattering its core, sending it back to the depths of space. Ruby and Sapphire return safely to everyone with Rayquaza. Ruby has Hoopa use its rings to find a Diancite for him. Diancie is revealed to be departing for the Kalos region with Steven. Ruby and Sapphire perform in a Contest Spectacular together, where Ruby has Diancie Mega Evolve into Mega Diancie.

Pokémon Ranger the Comic: Double Mission Episode Four	Solana and Lunick battle the Go-Rock Quads. Professor Hastings figures out that the Go-Rock Squad wants the Sea Crown.

Altru Inc. Mystery	Kate gets her Vatonage Styler and is named a Top Ranger. Erma appoints a mission to investigate an anomaly atop Altru Tower to Kellyn, Kate, Crawford and Barlow. Kellyn rescues Professor Hastings from falling off of Altru Tower. Team Dim Sun is revealed to have returned with a new leader.
Team Dim Sum	Kellyn and Kate meet the Sinis Trio. The Sinis Trio reveal that they removed the Three Gems to allow them control over the Shadow Crystal. Kellyn and Kate retrieve two of the Three Gems and rush to help Darkrai. Kincaid is revealed to be a member of Team Dim Sun.
Mission Complete	Darkrai is freed from the Shadow Crystal's control. Kincaid is defeated and the Sinis Trio abandons him. The Shadow Crystal is turned back into the Luminous Crystal. Darkrai leaves to the Sinnoh region.

Brash Bronzong I	The group finds out that the two scholars missing are Professor Rowan and Platinum's father. The group meets Byron. Roark's Cranidos evolves into a Rampardos. It is revealed that the odd Trainer that had lost his Psyduck on Route 210 was Mr. Foreman. The group find Professor Rowan and Platinum's father in a cube in the Canalave Gym.
Brash Bronzong II	October 23 The group finds out that Byron is the Canalave Gym Leader. Platinum, Professor Rowan and Platinum's father find out that Diamond and Pearl are not really bodyguards. Platinum runs off.
Startling Staraptor	October 23 Platinum recovers from the truth and learns of Team Galactic's plan. October 24 Platinum reveals her full name to Diamond and Pearl. Diamond and Pearl return their Pokédexes, but are allowed to keep them.
Hurrah for Rapidash	October 24 Platinum's Ponyta evolves into a Rapidash. Byron gives Platinum the Mine Badge. The group have permission to investigate Team Galactic and the Galactic Bomb. Diamond and Pearl have permission by Platinum's father to help her on her journey. The group now all have an upgrade on their Pokédexes and Diamond and Pearl get Pokétches from Professor Rowan. The trio is separated for the first time. Diamond finds out that he will be going on the S.S. Sinnoh with Byron to do some special training with the Shieldon he befriended. Lucky Lucario II	Diamond finishes his second task and succeeds. Diamond's final task is to retrieve a Pokémon Egg in the cavern from ambushing Pokémon. Diamond runs into the Steelix he battled on his first day of special training.
Vexing Vespiquen & Unmanageable Mothim I	Diamond and Riley investigate who had defeated the powerful Steelix even after using Rock Polish. Diamond battles two Cue Balls for the Pokémon Egg that they had stolen. Diamond learns the ability to use one single leaf from Tru's Razor Leaf to pin a Pokémon down.
Vexing Vespiquen & Unmanageable Mothim II	The Pokémon Egg hatches into a baby Riolu. Diamond befriends the wild Steelix that he had battled twice earlier. Diamond passes Riley's special training mission. Tru knocks down one of Team Galactic gadgets that was caught spying on them. Diamond gives Don the Metal Coat that Byron told him he could have if he passed. Diamond leaves Iron Island and gets back on track with his mission.
Winning Over Wingull	Pearl, Chatler and Chimler find the Fuego Ironworks and realize that it is being used by Team Galactic. Pearl sees a familiar face.
Maddening Magby	Pearl is reunited with a Luxray he had met several weeks ago. Pearl rescues Mr. Fuego and his Shellos from a bricked up wall. Pearl suddenly steps on the transfer belt heading straight to the blast furnace.
Showdown with Houndoom	Luxray saves Pearl from the molten furnace, burning its back in the process. Pearl and Luxray battle a Houndoom and win. Pearl captures the wild Luxray and names it Rayler.
Disagreeable Graveler	Platinum meets Candice. Platinum receives winter clothing.
Striking Out Snover	Platinum meets Candice. Platinum switches to her winter clothing however she quickly takes it off when traveling to her upcoming Gym Battle. Platinum meets up with Maylene. Platinum and Candice begin their Gym battle.
To and Fro with Froslass	Platinum wins against Candice, earning her the Icicle Badge. Platinum is revealed to have caught a Lopunny along the way.

Getting Past Gastrodon	Diamond arrives at Lake Verity and finds his mother kidnapped by Mars. Platinum, Maylene, and Candice are defeated by Jupiter.
Outwitting Octillery	Diamond rescues his mother and attempts to attack the Galactic airship but is stopped by Mars. Pearl arrives at Lake Valor but is attacked by Saturn. Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum are powerless to stop the Galactic bomb from exploding.
Tackling Tangrowth	The Galactic bomb's target is revealed, Lake Valor. The Lake Guardians rise from their lakes as a response to Lake Valor being blown up. Uxie is captured. Platinum, Maylene, and Candice are completely defeated by Jupiter.
Mixing It Up with Machamp	Mesprit is captured. Pearl tries to protect Azelf from Saturn but fails.
Bogging Down Quagsire	Diamond infiltrates the Galactic airship that is holding Mesprit. Platinum, Candice, and Maylene are left stranded in the freezing cold. Crasher Wake arrives and saves the dying Magikarp with a Rain Dance.
Besting Buizel I	Pearl begins his training with Wake.
Besting Buizel II	Pearl captures a Buizel along with two other Pokémon.
Cleaning Up Grimer	Diamond is revealed to have sneaked onto the Galactic airship. Diamond is revealed to be a fan of Red. Pearl reveals his full team.
Encountering Elekid	Platinum wakes up at the Pokémon Center in Snowpoint City. Candice tells Byron they need some training. Byron calls Volkner to help train Platinum, Maylene, and Candice.
Shorting Out Electivire	Candice, Maylene, and Platinum arrive at the meeting place after being beaten by Jupiter. Platinum starts her last Sinnoh Gym battle with Volkner.
Halting Honchkrow	Pearl arrives at the Galactic HQ Building with the help of his old friends, Grumpy and Flaky. The Red Chain is completed. Saturn, Jupiter, and Mars arrive at the Spear Pillar and wait for Cyrus. Cyrus is attacked by Cynthia.
Chancing Upon Chingling	Diamond infiltrates the Team Galctic HQ but is confronted by the Advanced level Grunt. Platinum is revealed to have won the Beacon Badge.
High-tailing It from Haunter	Diamond battles the Advanced level Grunt and finds the room holding Uxie, Mesprit, and Azelf. Don evolves into a Bastiodon and learns Metal Burst in the process. Pearl and Platinum slowly look for each other.
Shunning Spiritomb	Cynthia and Cyrus battle each other. Cyrus escapes from the battle with Cynthia too exhausted to follow.
Creeping Away from Cradily	The Sinnoh Pokédex holders reunite. At the cost of their Pokédexes, the Sinnoh Pokédex holders free Uxie, Azelf, and Mesprit. Jupiter, Mars, and Saturn are confronted by the Gym Leaders. Cyrus summons Dialga and Palkia.
Double Trouble with Dialga and Palkia I	Cynthia finds Pearl, Platinum, and Diamond unconscious and takes them to the Spear Pillar. Platinum gives Diamond a Mamoswine.
Double Trouble with Dialga and Palkia II	Cyrus commands Dialga and Palkia to fight each other, causing Time and Space to distort. Roark and Fantina defeat Saturn. Crasher Wake and Gardenia defeat Mars. Candice and Maylene defeat Jupiter. The Sinnoh Gym Leaders destroy the first Red Chain. Sird returns.

Double Trouble with Dialga and Palkia IV	Diamond and Pearl continue battling Dialga and Palkia but are attacked by Cyrus. Sird reveals how she petrified Red, Yellow, Green, Blue, and Silver. Sird is revealed to own a Darkrai, the same Pokémon she used to petrify the Kanto Dex Holders and Silver. Riley attacks the Galactic Commanders. Platinum receives a Froslass from Candice, a Cherrim from Gardenia, and a Pachirisu from Maylene, who got it from Volkner.
Double Trouble with Dialga and Palkia V	Time and Space begin to distort all around Sinnoh, causing people to end up in a different, random location. Looker attempts to interrogate the two scientists from Lake Valor while Dr. Footstep ends up at the Spear Pillar. Diamond returns Drifblim to Fantina. A black hole begins to suck everyone in the Spear Pillar into it. Diamond attempts to stop it by himself but is saved by Regigigas.
Double Trouble with Dialga and Palkia VI	Diamond obtains a Regigigas. Cyrus is finally defeated and Dialga and Palkia are freed from his control. Platinum's journey is completed. Mysterious tentacles pull Dialga, Palkia, and Cyrus into the Distortion World. Charon introduces himself. Diamond's Kit manages to steal a report from Charon. Volkner calls Flint to tell him about the mysterious portal he found in the Spring Path.

Unplugging Rotom (Heat, Wash, Mow, Fan, Frost)	Diamond, Pearl, the Sinnoh Pokémon Association Chairman, and Dr. Footstep set out to find Sinnoh's rare and Legendary Pokémon. Diamond and Pearl successfully find Rotom and has it join them. Marley appears at the Sendoff Spring. Paka and Uji are revealed to be alive in the Distortion World. Giratina exits the Distortion World and attacks the Eterna City statue.
The Final Dimensional Duel I	Cynthia starts her training to master Draco Meteor from scratch with her grandmother. Paka and Uji attempt to escape the Distortion World, but fail. Dialga and Palkia are revealed to have been defeated and trapped by Giratina. Diamond and Pearl encounter Giratina and begin battling it.
The Final Dimensional Duel II	Diamond continues his battle against Charon. Mars, Saturn, and Jupiter plan to find Cyrus in the Distortion World. Thorton finishes fixing the camera machine, although exhausting himself in the process. Riley, Mira, Cheryl, Platinum, and Palmer leave to trace the camera's aura.
The Final Dimensional Duel III	Platinum and Palmer continue riding to the Distortion World. Volkner and Flint make their way to the Distortion World as well. Diamond pushes Pearl out the way of a Shadow Force and falls to the ground unconscious. Reg, after seeing its Trainer effectively dead, leaves the area.
The Final Dimensional Duel IV	Pearl, furious, attacks Charon for what he did to Diamond. Reg returns, having actually gone to retrieve the appliances for Rotom. Rotom switches between its forms to attack Charon. Reg defeats Giratina, forcing it to retreat into the Distortion World with Charon following it. Diamond's body disappears. Marley appears on Route 224 and meets Shaymin.
The Final Dimensional Duel V	Palmer reveals he obtained Cresselia on Fullmoon Island. Platinum's group arrives at the Spring Path. Upon arriving, they find Marley held captive by the Advanced level Grunt. The Advanced level Grunt reveals that he is freed from his mind control and wishes to be free from Team Galactic. Diamond finds himself in the Distortion World.
The Final Dimensional Duel VI	Platinum's group enters the Distortion World. Platinum meets Paka and Uji for the first time. Volkner and Flint face off against Giratina. Saturn, Mars, and Jupiter encounter Charon, who lies to them about wanting to meet Cyrus. Mira, Cheryl, and Marley face Saturn, Mars, and Jupiter in battle.
The Final Dimensional Duel VII	Mira, Cheryl, and Marley continue to face Saturn, Mars, and Jupiter in battle. Palmer is attacked by Darkrai. Diamond finds Cyrus in the Distortion World. Pearl, the Pokémon Association Chairman, and Dr. Footstep arrive at Turnback Cave and go inside.
The Final Dimensional Duel VIII	Diamond and Cyrus free Dialga and Palkia. Pearl encounters his father. Palmer and Pearl face Darkrai. Diamond and Pearl reunite with Paka and Uji.
The Final Dimensional Duel IX	The Advanced level Grunt returns the stolen Pokédexes. Darkrai knocks out the Advanced level Grunt. The Legendary Pokémon begin fighting. Platinum's Pokémon are revealed to have caught Pokérus.
The Final Dimensional Duel X	Darkrai puts everyone else to sleep. Shaymin manages to wake everyone up and turns into its Sky Forme to attack Giratina. Charon attempts to escape, but is attacked by Cynthia upon exiting the Distortion World.
The Final Dimensional Duel XI	Charon is completely defeated and arrested. Cyrus disbands Team Galactic. Looker gets a mission related to the Seven Sages in Unova. Looker gives Diamond a Manaphy Egg from Fiore.

- Giallo is tasked to capture Tornadus, Thundurus, and Landorus.
- Gorm is tasked with finding information about Reshiram and Zekrom so that they may recruit one of them on Team Plasma's side.
- Bronius is tasked with the spreading of Team Plasma's ideals to the general public.
- Rood is tasked with finding Victini so that it may use its powers to bring victory for Team Plasma.
- Ryoku is tasked with finding Volcarona and protecting it from humans.
Zinzolin finds and captures Kyurem.
Hugh obtains a Pidove, a Tynamo, and a Purrloin from his grandfather. He gives the Purrloin to his younger sister.
Hugh swears vengeance on Team Plasma after losing the Purrloin to Team Plasma Grunts.

Fussing and Fighting	Professor Juniper prepares to give three Pokémon to three upcoming Trainers. Tepig and Snivy get into a fight, causing havoc. Oshawott gets angry at the two and begins attacking them. Professor Juniper stops the fight and worries if the three can get along with their Trainers.
Choices	Black receives the package containing the first partner Pokémon, and chooses Tepig. Black gets his Pokédex. Bianca chooses Snivy for Cheren; and Oshawott for herself. Cheren and Bianca get their Pokédexes; however, they are broken, leaving Black with the only working Pokédex. Black and Tepig defeat a Sewaddle who attacked them in the trees.
A Nickname for Tepig	Black nicknames his Tepig, Tep.
Black's First Trainer Battle	Black meets Hiker Andy. Black helps Andy start his dream of beating the Pokémon League once again.
Lights, Camera...Action	A mining company finds a mysterious stone at the Desert Resort. Black meets White, the president of the BW Agency. A wild Galvantula attacks a commercial shooting only to be defeated by Black. White hires Black to her company in order to pay his debt for destroying the recording equipment.
An Odd Speech	Black and White meet Team Plasma and Ghetsis. White says she made Gigi debut a year ago.
Letting Go	Black reveals that he had caught the Galvantula from before. Black begins to battle N.
Listening to Pokémon	Black defeats N. Tula joins Black.
Welcome to Striaton City!!	Black, White, Cheren, and Bianca arrive in Striaton City. Cheren and Bianca catch up to Black.
Their First Gym Battle	Black, Cheren, and Bianca defeat Cress, Chili, and Cilan and earn Trio Badges.
Battle at the Dreamyard	Black and White meet Fennel and Amanita.

Defeating Stoutland	Black defeats Lenora. White tells Black about her successful talk to the mayor of Nimbasa City. Clay informs Lenora about a mysterious stone he found at Twist Mountain, later revealed to be the Dark Stone. Clay is spied on by the Shadow Triad.
The Mystery of the Missing Fossil	The Dragon Fossil is stolen by a group of Team Plasma Grunts. Black meets Burgh. Black and Burgh get the Dragon Fossil back from Team Plasma.
A Direct Attack and a Daunting Defense	Black and White are attacked by a Virizion on the Skyarrow Bridge. Black battles Janitor Geoff and wins. Black and White arrive in Castelia City.
Lost in the Big City	Black gets lost in Castelia City. Tep encounters a mischievous Zorua that causes trouble for him.
Big City Battles	Iris debuts. Tep begins his evolution process but White forcefully stops it. Black battles against Burgh at the Castelia Gym. Bianca is attacked by a Team Plasma Grunt and has her Litwick stolen.
The Case of the Missing Pokémon	Black defeats Burgh and obtains the Insect Badge. Tep evolves into a Pignite and is renamed Nite. Black rescues Bianca's Litwick from Team Plasma.
At Liberty on Liberty Garden	Black and White arrive on Liberty Garden. Black encounters Victini and saves it from Team Plasma.
Sandstorm	Black and White arrive at Route 4, but are unable to pass because of a violent sandstorm. Black meets Elite Four member Grimsley. Grimsley combats a Team Plasma Grunt that had sneaked into the working area.
To Make a Musical	Black falls unconscious after straining his head. Sage Ryoku is revealed to be searching for Volcarona.
Special Delivery	The Pokémon Musical begins. Because of a mishap involving the Driftveil Drawbridge, supplies for the Musical are unable to be sent to Nimbasa in time. White manages to get the supplies on time with the help of the Mistralton Cargo Service. Black goes to start his Gym battle with Elesa. N traps White in one of the Ferris Wheel cars.
Battle on a Roller Coaster	Black has his Gym battle against Elesa. Black defeats Elesa and encounters the Legendary Pokémon Thundurus.
Gigi's Choice	N reveals to White that he is Team Plasma's king. N convinces Gigi to join his cause, making her betray White. White falls off of the Ferris Wheel, and falls unconscious at Gigi's betrayal. N gives White his Servine.
Unraveling Mysteries	White is found by Marshal. Black takes White to the hospital and learns what happened to her. Black and White learn about the Battle Subway.
A New Perspective	Alder and Marshal battle on the Battle Subway. White decides to help test the Battle Subway.
Growing Pains	White becomes a Pokémon Trainer. The Servine N gave White is revealed to obey White's orders. With the help of Black, White captures a Deerling. Black captures a Tirtouga, which Marshal reveals used to belong to him before he released it. Black and White meet Alder, the Unova Champion. White leaves Black to go and train on the Battle Subway. Black lends White Brav so that she will have three Pokémon on her team.
Drawing Bridges	A Zorua causes havoc on the Driftveil Drawbridge, making people unable to cross it. With help from Elesa, Black gets past the drawbridge. Black faces and defeats the trouble-making Zorua on the drawbridge, causing it to flee. Black meets Clay.
A Stormy Time in the Battle Subway	White continues her travel on the Battle Subway, which heads to Anville Town. White meets Shauntal. Tornadus and Thundurus battle each other, causing havoc on the train. Landorus arrives to stop Tornadus and Thundurus from fighting. Giallo captures the Forces of Nature.
Fight in a Cold Climate	Black meets up with Cheren again. Team Plasma steals Cheren's Snivy. Together, Black and Cheren defeat Team Plasma and rescue Snivy.
Mine Mayhem	Black arrives at the Driftveil Gym. Black tries to get his Tirtouga to listen to him. After learning that Tirtouga evolves into Carracosta, Black names his Tirtouga "Costa". Black begins his Gym battle against Clay. Chili, Cress, and Cilan prepare to head to Nacrene City. Lenora wonders why the people spying on her haven't acted yet.
Underground Showdown	Black battles Clay and wins. Clay reveals that Team Plasma is planning to steal the Dark Stone. Black and Clay go to Mistralton City to meet with the other Gym Leaders.
Up In The Air	Black and Clay arrive at Mistralton City. Black meets up with the other Gym Leaders. Skyla decides to battle Black in order to test him. The Shadow Triad prepare to steal the Dark Stone.
The Battle Within	Black defeats Skyla, earning the Jet Badge. Lenora intercepts the Shadow Triad. The other Gym Leaders head to Nacrene City to help Lenora fight.
Museum Showdown	The Gym Leaders face the Shadow Triad. Although the Triad are defeated by Brycen, they gain the upper hand with the power of Tornadus, Thundurus, and Landorus. Nite evolves into an Emboar. N and Gigi arrive at Dragonspiral Tower.
Finding Truth	The Gym Leaders and Hawes are captured by the Shadow Triad, but Brycen manages to escape. Black is tricked by a Team Plasma Grunt into revealing the Dark Stone's location. Ghetsis takes the Dark Stone to N, who then uses it to revive Zekrom. Lenora is revealed to have had the Light Stone the entire time. Reshiram chooses Black as its "hero". Brycen takes the unconscious Black and the Light Stone with the intent to train him.
Decisions, Decisions	Black wakes up on the Tubeline Bridge and finds out what happened to him. Black begins his training with Brycen. While Musha, Tula, and Costa train with Brycen's Vanillish, Black and Nite train with Brycen's Cryogonal. Black renames Nite Bo. After some difficulty, Bo manages to defeat Brycen's Cryogonal with a Fighting-type move instead of a Fire-type move.
School of Hard Knocks	Brycen discovers that Zekrom has been awakened. Black meets the Opelucid Gym Leader, Drayden. Black discovers that Iris is being trained by Drayden. Iris has a quick battle with Drayden, but loses. Black faces the Black Empoleon biker gang and defeats them.
With a Little Help from My Friends	White continues her training with Ingo and Emmet and has become a strong enough Trainer to tie in a battle with Ingo. The Battle Subway train arrives in Anville Town. White is revealed to have captured a Stunfisk named Dorothy, an Alomomola named Nancy, and a Solosis named Sally. White attempts to nickname Servine Amanda, only to be attacked in response. White encounters Bianca, who's depressed because all she's been able to accomplish on her journey is running away from her overprotective father. White takes Bianca to the Café Sonata in Castelia City to help her with her musical talent. Upon entering, White and Bianca discover the place in shambles while a wild Vullaby attacks a wild Meloetta.
A Lost Melody	Bianca takes the Guitarist's guitar so that she help perform with Meloetta in his place. Bianca helps Meloetta remember the move Relic Song and helps it defeat the wild Vullaby group with its Pirouette Forme. White captures the leader Vullaby with the intention on having her star as a villain in movies and names her Barbara. Professor Juniper reveals that she has fixed Bianca's Pokédex and sends her father to send it to them. Bianca gives up her Pokédex to White so that she can be Professor Juniper's assistant. Bianca reveals that she hasn't heard from Cheren in weeks and is worried about his unusual behavior. With her training finished, White goes to return to Black.
The Beginning	Flashback from nine years prior: Black manages to convince Bianca's father to let him study Pokémon so that he and Cheren will be allowed to play with Bianca. Black learns about the Pokémon League and tries to find a way to get a Pokédex. Bianca decides to help Black capture a Pokémon, only to disturb a then-wild Brav. A then-wild Musha is attracted to Black's dreams and eats them for the first time.
Tooth and Claw	Flashback: Thanks to the wild Munna's help, Black saves Bianca from the wild Rufflet. Black decides to capture the wild Rufflet and name it Brav. With Munna's help, Black captures the wild Rufflet. The wild Munna joins Black's team and is named Musha. Black starts his challenge of the Icirrus Gym.
The Cold Hard Truth	Black continues his challenge of the Icirrus Gym. N attempts to convince Zekrom to join his cause. Drayden reveals to the press that the Pokémon League's date has been pushed up from three months to one week.
A Cold Reception	Black continues his challenge of the Icirrus Gym. Costa evolves into a Carracosta and wins the battle for Black. Black obtains the Light Stone. Black attempts to summon Reshiram, but fails. Black learns that the League's date has been pushed up and becomes worried that he won't be able to compete in the League without eight Badges. Brycen tells Black about the Swords of Justice. Iris suggests that he try to awaken Reshiram, but Black claims that it's impossible and runs off.
A Week to Go and Old Wounds	Black decides to capture some Legendary Pokémon in hopes that it will get him access into the League without an eighth Badge. Black travels to the Mistralton Cave, where he encounters Virizion and Terrakion. Black meets Shoko of the Marvelous Bridge Patrat Show and her friend Trish of the Riches family. Iris meets up with Cedric Juniper.
A Misunderstanding	Trish attempts to capture the Swords of Justice. A fire breaks out in Mistralton Cave, which Black and the Swords of Justice put out. The Swords of Justice capture Trish and Shoko's Pokémon, but Black convinces them to let the Pokémon go. Black meets Cedric Juniper.
The Lesson Ends Here	Alder reveals that he intends on giving up his Champion title. Alder meets N and challenges him to a battle. N is revealed have tamed Zekrom. White returns to Black and returns Brav back to him. Amanda is revealed to have evolved into a Serperior. Black, White, and Iris discover Alder and N's battle.
Will the Truth Come Out?	N defeats Alder. Reshiram awakens from the Light Stone, only to return to its stone form. White tells Gigi that she is free to choose whatever goal she desires. Cedric Juniper arrives to have N reveal where Team Plasma's castle is.
A Wretched Reunion	Black, White, and Cedric Juniper defeat Gigi and Zorua. Professor Juniper and Fennel arrive. Cedric Juniper reveals that he and his daughter both had a set of first partner Pokémon. Cedric Juniper reveals that N liberated his set of first partner Pokémon, Oshawott stayed with him, Snivy went with N, then went to White, and Tepig ran away. No longer liking the taste of Black's dreams, Musha decides to leave Black. Black falls unconscious from Musha's leaving. N escapes and destroys the third Pokédex meant for Cheren.
Dream a Little Dream	The Pokémon League begins. The Elite Four question about what to do with Team Plasma. Cedric Juniper deduces that Gigi was the Tepig that was liberated by N. Without eight Gym Badges, Black decides to go back home. After seeing his Pokémon sad about not entering the League, Black decides to challenge Drayden for his final Badge.
Hallway Hijinks	Black challenges Drayden for his final Gym Badge and entrance into the League. Caitlin uses her powers to relay information between the kidnapped Gym Leaders and Black. Black defeats Drayden, earning him the Legend Badge. Black enters the League and makes it to the Best 8. Iris, Cheren, a disguised Zinzolin, a mysterious man in a mask, a young boy, a swimmer, and a disguised Looker all join Black in the Best 8.
Into the Quarterfinals!	Brycen continues looking for Team Plasma's castle. Black faces Lou Karr in the first round of the quarterfinals and wins. Lou Karr is revealed to be a disguised Looker who aims on finding any members of Team Plasma infiltrating the League.
The Tournament Continues	Cheren faces Leo in the second round of the quarterfinals and wins. Hood Man faces Marlon in the third round and wins. Iris faces Gray in the fourth round and wins. Brycen enlists White in helping him search for Team Plasma.
The Shadow Triad	Cobalion, Terrakion, and Virizion head to the Pledge Grove to meet with their student, Keldeo. The Shadow Triad attempt to capture the Swords of Justice, but fail. Keldeo trains how to use its sword and succeeds. Team Plasma is revealed to be training a secret project and are aware that Drayden pushed the Pokémon League up to lure them out. Cilan, Cress, and Chili attack the Shadow Triad. Cobalion decides to track down the Shadow Triad to stop whatever evil goal they have planned.
One Way or Another	Black and Iris battle each other in the first round of the semifinals. Iris reveals that she is from Blackthorn City, the Village of Dragons. Black defeats Iris and advances to the finals.
Something Suspicious	Cheren defeats Hood Man and advances to the finals. White investigates Marlon and Leo. Angered at Cheren's strange behavior, Black demands to battle his friend in the finals immediately. Team Plasma's castle begins moving from beneath the earth.
True Friends	Black and Cheren battle in the finals. Cheren reveals that he has been influenced by Team Plasma and has chosen to follow their ideals so that he can gain strength. He also reveals that he has forsaken his Pokédex. White finds out that Zinzolin is with Team Plasma and Hood Man is assisting him. Looker captures Zinzolin. White attempts to warn Black about Team Plasma, but Hood Man captures her and takes her away. Black defeats Cheren. Musha returns to Black, now evolved into a Musharna. Angered at Team Plasma's manipulating his friends, Black awakens Reshiram and challenges Team Plasma to come out of hiding.
Something Suspicious	Cilan, Cress, and Chili continue their battle with the Shadow Triad. Cilan, Cress, and Chili evolve their Pansage, Panpour, and Pansear to gain an advantage. The Swords of Justice arrive and witness the battle. Keldeo decides the Gym Leaders are on the side of good and jumps in to stop the Shadow Triad. The Shadow Triad attempt to capture Keldeo, but are stopped by Cobalion, Terrakion, and Virizion. Cobalion, Terrakion, and Virizion defeat both the Striaton Gym Leaders and the Shadow Triad. As the Swords of Justice leave, the Shadow Triad unleash their secret weapon on the quartet. Keldeo is almost hit by the weapon's attack, but is protected by its three seniors, who are frozen and sink into the waters below.
Cold Hard Truth	Black demands that Zinzolin tell him where Hood Man took White. Brycen digs down to find Team Plasma's castle, but is defeated and captured by Ghetsis. Zinzolin summons N's Castle from beneath the Pokémon League. Team Plasma begins marching out. The captured Gym Leaders are hoisted up on crucifix-like objects as a display of Team Plasma's power. Reshiram senses Zekrom and leaves Black behind to fight its counterpart. The Elite Four attempt to face Team Plasma, but they are interrupted by Hood Man, who uses Tornadus, Thundurus, and Landorus in an attempt to figure out their Therian Formes. Black attempts to rescue the Gym Leaders, but Ghetsis stops his every move. Black is assisted by Andy, Shoko, Trish, Geoff, Logan, Chris, and Jeremy, who decide to rescue the Gym Leaders themselves.
Triple Threat	The Seven Sages attempt to stop Black's friends from rescuing the Gym Leaders. Black sends out all of his team except for Brav to help his friends face the Seven Sages. Black and Reshiram face N and Zekrom. Cedric Juniper, Leo, and Looker assist Black in facing N. With Cedric's help, Black figures out the secret to Reshiram and Zekrom's Overdrive states. Black uses a powered-up Fusion Flare from Reshiram to deal heavy damage to Zekrom.
Homecoming	Andy's group frees the Gym Leaders from their bindings. The Gym Leaders help battle Team Plasma. The Elite Four chase after Tornadus, Thundurus, and Landorus, who have escaped. Grimsley continues battling Hood Man, but he escapes on a mysterious Pokémon. The Seven Sages escape, but Ghetsis sneaks into where N and Black are battling. White awakens in N's room, where she meets Anthea and Concordia. Anthea and Concordia reveal that N has released all of the Pokémon he had on his team except for Zekrom. Anthea and Concordia tell White about N's past and how he met Ghetsis. Gigi chooses to return to the BW Agency. White and Gigi leave to tell Black about what they learned. Zorua helps N in battle despite it being released. Black and Reshiram defeat N and Zekrom. Black reveals that Zorua wants to stay with N.
The Power Of Dreams	The Elite Four track down Tornadus, Thundurus, and Landorus and continue their battle with them. Having found peace, N and Zorua fall asleep. Ghetsis reveals his full name to be Ghetsis Harmonia Gropius and that N is his son. Ghetsis attacks Black in order to keep the public ignorant about N's defeat. Using Musha, Black figures out that Ghetsis is using a Volcarona as a secret weapon. Black defeats Ghetsis and traps him in a cage of stones. Hood Man learns that a mirror is the key to turning Tornadus, Thundurus, and Landorus into their Therian Formes. Hood Man goes to assist Ghetsis. Black and White reunite.
A Difficult Parting	N learns the error of his ways and bids his former enemies farewell, leaving Zorua behind in the process. Reshiram begins reverting into the Light Stone with its counterpart gone. The Hood Man helps Ghetsis escape, and uses his Beheeyem to throw Black at Reshiram. Black and Reshiram become the Light Stone, which flies away when White tries to grab it. As they both escape, Ghetsis thanks Hood Man, who takes off his disguise and reveals himself to be Colress. Several Team Plasma Grunts manage to escape being captured and go into hiding. One of the Grunts receives a Foongus from Anthea and Concordia that was liberated by N and a locket containing N's photograph.

The Transfer Student	Blake breaks up with Yancy. Cheren is revealed to have become a teacher at the Aspertia City Trainers' School. Whitley transfers into the Trainers' School. Blake and Whitley receive Pokédexes. Looker returns to Unova after having failed to find the Seven Sages in other regions. Whitley is revealed to be a former member of Team Plasma. Blake reveals to Looker that he is a member of the International Police, and is his superior.
Mr. Perfect	Cheren and Bianca discuss the earlier Pokédex distribution. Drayden calls Cheren to inform him about Kyurem, the third Pokémon born at the same time as Reshiram and Zekrom. Drayden reveals that Iris has been made Gym Leader, although he plans on returning to his former position later. Blake and Looker head to the Aspertia City alleyways. Blake meets with the Magician to get specialized Poké Balls. A flying saucer begins attacking the city.
Flying Type	Blake attacks the flying saucer and reveals it to be a Pokémon named Genesect. Blake battles Genesect through the Aspertia alleyways. Blake and Looker learn the creator of Genesect is Colress, who disguised himself as Hood Man two years ago. Blake realizes that Colress is controlling Genesect through a machine, which means it is still technically wild. Blake prepares to capture Genesect.
Innocent Scientist	Blake begins his attempt to capture Genesect. Blake flashes back to when he first met Dewott at the International Police headquarters. After a struggle, Blake successfully captures Genesect. Colress commends Blake's efforts and reveals that Ghetsis has given up his leadership of Team Plasma to him. Colress escapes before Looker can arrest him. Blake reveals his womanizing personality is a front so that he can find a former member of Team Plasma that is carrying a microchip containing important data on the Pokémon stolen by Team Plasma. Blake heads back with Looker and prepares to have Genesect sent back to headquarters.
Pokédex Lecture	Blake takes Whitley to the Pledge Grove to register Pokémon on the Pokédex as a way to get closer to her. Whitley accidentally attracts Keldeo, who proceeds to attack the duo. Blake manages to get out of the way, but Whitley is knocked unconscious. Whitley's Foongus is revealed to have the nickname Foongy. Blake takes Whitley back to the school.
Movie Panic	Cheren takes the class on a trip to Pokéstar Studios. Blake attempts to use the trip as a way to get closer to Whitley. Brycen is revealed to quit his job as a Gym Leader to return to acting. Sabrina is revealed to have become a famous actress. Whitley participates in a movie, only for the Mecha Tyranitar to attack everyone in sight. Blake defeats the Mecha Tyranitar, much to Whitley's frustration. Brycen suggests that Cheren become the Leader of the Aspertia City Gym. White is revealed to have had a part in Pokéstar Studios's creation.
Unforgettable Memories	Hugh finds a microchip in the pendant he found. Hugh checks the microchip and sees that it contains data on Pokémon that were liberated by Team Plasma. Hugh realizes that the owner of the pendant must be a member of Team Plasma and swears to find her. Colress checks up on the new Grunt uniforms. Colress talks to Ghetsis about going to get Zinzolin.
Legendary Tornadus	Blake reveals that Giallo has been sighted around Route 20. Blake takes Whitley to Route 20 and has Looker watch to see how Whitley reacts to Giallo in order to confirm her relation to Team Plasma. Blake and Whitley are attacked by Tornadus, which proceeds to turn into its Therian Forme. Blake is revealed to have caught Keldeo, nicknaming it "Kelden".
New Sword Player	Blake battles against Tornadus with Dewott and Kelden. Tornadus reveals that its true target is Giallo, who refuses to accept Colress as Team Plasma's new leader. Dewott and Kelden freeze Tornadus, forcing the Team Plasma Grunts to recall it and retreat. Looker arrests Giallo. Whitley is revealed to have fallen asleep, preventing her from being able to recognize Giallo. Blake takes Whitley to a concert performed by Roxie and her band. After returning home, Whitley receives the gift she was given to by Blake, which she finds out is a telescope.
Choir Tournament	The Trainers' School performs in the Autumn Choir Tournament. Roxie participates in the tournament as a judge, having been requested to by Blake. Blake and Whitley's team wins the tournament, awarding them to participate in another tournament in Castelia City. Roxie has her father take Cheren's class to Castelia City. Blake reveals to Looker that Bronius and Ryoku were spotted in the Castelia Sewers, and their task is to go and investigate the area.
Angry Boy	Hugh finds that his sister managed to sneak onto Pop Roxie's boat. Leo befriends Hugh's sister and promises to help Hugh keep her out of sight from everyone else. After arriving at Castelia City, Roxie discovers an injured man that was attacked by a group of villains who "liberated" his Karrablast. Blake, Whitley, Hugh, and Roxie travel to the Castelia Sewers, where they find the culprits were Team Plasma, including Bronius and Ryoku. Hugh attacks the Team Plasma Grunts, but is swarmed by their Pokémon, forcing the group to scatter. Looker contacts Hugh via his Croagunk, but Hugh mistakenly believes that Croagunk is the one who is talking. At the Cold Storage, Colress confronts Zinzolin about information about Kyurem.
Cold Storage Battle	Zinzolin reveals he managed to capture Kyurem two years ago. Colress tells Zinzolin to give him Kyurem, but Zinzolin refuses. Whitley drives off the Team Plasma Grunts and proceeds to call her mother. Looker attempts to get Hugh to explain his connection to Team Plasma, but Hugh refuses and runs off. Blake successfully arrests Bronius and Ryoku, but soon feels a chill in the air. Blake has Looker take care of Bronius and Ryoku while he sets off on Genesect to the Relic Passage.
Colress Machine	Zinzolin continues his battle against Colress. Blake exits the Relic Passage and arrives next to the Pokémon World Tournament construction site. Blake is revealed to have captured a Kabutops named Kabutott and a Gliscor named Glisott. Blake finds Zinzolin defeated by Thundurus and Landorus, who proceed to transform into their Therian Formes. Colress reveals he is in possession of the Reveal Glass. Whitley's mother tells Whitley everything about the black-suited Team Plasma Grunts, the Colress Machine, and the microchip in her pendant. Whitley decides to find her missing pendant so that she may give it to Rood or Gorm.
Therian Forme III	Hugh meets up with his class and reveals that one of the female students is a member of Team Plasma. Hugh decides to leave the school to confront Team Plasma, but Whitley stops him. Finding her behavior suspicious, the class begins to piece together Whitley's true identity, but Foongy puts them to sleep with the exception of Hugh. Hugh realizes that Whitley is a member of Team Plasma. Blake continues battling Colress. Blake attempts to arrest Zinzolin, but he is taken away by Colress. Ghetsis reveals himself and the Plasma Frigate. Blake attempts to stop Ghetsis, but is attacked by the Shadow Triad. Colress takes control of Kyurem and puts it in the Plasma Frigate. The Plasma Frigate is activated and takes to the skies.
Frozen World	Blake sneaks aboard the Plasma Frigate with Kelden, leaving his other Pokémon behind to battle the Shadow Triad. Colress realizes that Blake has snuck on board, but decides to pretend like he didn't notice. Hugh agrees to return Whitley her pendant if she takes him to Team Plasma's hideout. The Plasma Frigate appears above Castelia City. Castelia City is frozen over by the Plasma Frigate's Kyurem Cannon. Hugh protects Whitley from the cannon's blast, causing him to get knocked out. Rood appears and tells Whitley about the Plasma Frigate. The memory card from Whitley's pendant is revealed to not be in Hugh's possession, meaning that it must be back in Aspertia City. Rood leaves N's Zorua to impersonate Whitley while they return to Aspertia to get the memory card. Ghetsis orders Colress to capture Rood, but Whitley protects him, causing her to be captured instead. Blake sneaks into Whitley's cabin aboard the Plasma Frigate, pretending to have been captured as well. Whitley realizes that Blake is a member of the International Police. Whitley confesses her Team Plasma membership to Blake, confirming his suspicions about her. Blake handcuffs Whitley and confirms his affiliation with the International Police to her.
Flying Ship	Blake tells Whitley about his job as well as the Kyurem that Colress has under his control. Whitley agrees to tell Blake about the memory card, but only after they work to free Kyurem from Colress's control. Blake and Whitley fight their way through the Team Plasma Grunts protecting the machine imprisoning Kyurem. Blake has Kelden destroy the machine containing Kyurem, only to find that the machine was empty. Colress reveals that the machine has already absorbed enough of Kyurem's energy to power the Plasma Frigate and freeze all of Unova. Colress has Kyurem freeze Blake, Whitley, and Kelden, and then has the Grunts toss them into the ocean. Colress reveals that Kyurem appeared before Zinzolin two years earlier because it was responding to the energy released by Zekrom's awakening, and that the opposite has also now happened. Somewhere, N, Zekrom, and the Light Stone fly through the ocean.
Pink Slip	Cheren awakens at the Marine Tube alongside his students and Roxie. Benga, another student at the Trainers' School, is revealed to have rescued everyone from Castelia City alongside Marlon. Marlon and Benga ask Cheren and Roxie to join them and Iris to combat Team Plasma. Rood's subordinate Team Plasma Grunts and a disguised Zorua help the class warm up from the cold. In Aspertia City, Looker searches for the missing Blake, but runs into the Magician. The Magician reveals that Blake has been fired from the International Police due to him having given the Magician illegal access to the International Police database. Blake's Pokémon are defeated by the Shadow Triad and Forces of Nature. The Shadow Triad leave to meet up with the Plasma Frigate at Undella Town. The Plasma Frigate continues to freeze over Unova's cities. Fennel reveals that the Light Stone is connected to the Dream World, where Black must also be. White's Solly is revealed to have evolved into a Duosion. White finds the Light Stone at the Entralink, but is then confronted by N.
N Returns	White asks N why only Reshiram reverted to a stone, but he is unable to provide her with an answer. White and N take off to confront Team Plasma. Ghetsis takes Kyurem to face N. Fearing that he might lose, N has White run away while he fights Ghetsis alone. Blake awakens at the Abyssal Ruins, where he meets with Kelden. Kelden takes Blake to the frozen bodies of Cobalion, Virizion, and Terrakion. Assuming that since Techno Blast was what froze the three Pokémon to begin with, Blake sends out Genesect to free Kelden's mentors. Whitley reveals herself and tells Blake not to use the Fire-type Techno Blast, as it is dangerous for Genesect to use. Blake reveals that he is incapable of feeling or understanding emotions like "fear" or "pity", and thus sees no problem with putting his Pokémon in serious harm, as it could just be healed later. Blake has Genesect free Kelden's mentors from their ice prison. Cobalion knocks the incomplete Burn Drive off of Genesect's back, after which it explodes. Blake discovers he has been fired from the International Police.
Abyssal Ruins	Blake catches a Shelmet. Blake has Whitley catch a Karrablast, which he then has her trade for his Shelmet, causing them to evolve into Escavalier and Accelgor, respectively. The Abyssal Ruins start flooding due to a safety mechanism. Blake and Whitley escape from the Abyssal Ruins with Kelden and the Swords of Justice. Hugh wakes up in Aspertia City, having been brought back there by Rood. Rood agrees to take Hugh to his sister's Purrloin if he helps stop the Plasma Frigate and the Colress Machine. A group of Team Plasma Grunts arrives to eliminate Rood. Hugh stays to battle the Grunts while telling Rood that the memory card he's looking for is hidden in his and Leo's room. Rood takes the memory card. Blake is revealed to have the DNA Splicers, which are stolen by Ghetsis. Kyurem uses the DNA Splicers to revert Zekrom back into the Dark Stone.
Dream World	White and N enter the Pokémon Dream World, which is linked to the Light Stone. White reunites with Black. Kyurem successfully absorbs Zekrom and changes into Black Kyurem. Kyurem freezes Undella Town. Black and White exit the Light Stone. Black attempts to fight Ghetsis and Kyurem, but is defeated. N is revealed to have been forced out of the Dream World alongside Black and White. Seeing that N poses a threat to the stability of Kyurem's Absofusion, Ghetsis throws him into the sea. Team Plasma escapes thanks to a smokescreen. Black and White meet Blake and Whitley for the first time. Blake asks for Black's assistance in locating the Plasma Frigate.
Deduction Time	Black figures out that Team Plasma is headed for the Giant Chasm. Since N disappeared along with Team Plasma's smokescreen, Blake deduces that he must've been captured. The Unova Pokédex holders and the Swords of Justice head to the Giant Chasm as well. Leo and Hugh's sister meet Elesa, Skyla, and Looker at the PWT construction site. Hugh and Rood escape to White Team Plasma's hideout in Driftveil City with the memory card required to stop the Colress Machine. Kyurem is revealed to be heading for the Giant Chasm without Ghetsis or Colress's orders. Ghetsis sends the Shadow Triad and the Forces of Nature to attack the pursuing Swords of Justice. Alder is revealed to have passed his Champion title on to Iris.
Giant Chasm	In Opelucid City, Clay and the Striaton Gym Leaders help free people from their frozen homes. The Unova Pokédex holders arrive at the Giant Chasm and meet Gorm and Iris. Iris reveals the over the last two years, she regathered the eight Badges, challenged the Elite Four, and defeated both Alder and N. Learning of Iris's Champion status, Black swears to defeat her someday. Colress attacks everyone with Kyurem, but suddenly loses control of it. Rood appears, informing Colress that the Colress Machine's effect has been nullified. Kyurem ejects the Dark Stone from its body and absorbs Reshiram instead, transforming into White Kyurem. Realizing that his plans have failed, Colress decides to quit Team Plasma and escapes. Blake pursues Colress while Black, White, and Iris try to stop Kyurem from destroying the Plasma Frigate. Learning that Blake is no longer a member of the International Police, Colress challenges him with his Red Genesect. Sensing that the Red Genesect is the one who froze its masters, Kelden changes into its Resolute Forme.
The Final Battle: Crushed Ambition	Looker returns Blake's Pokémon to him. White entrusts Gigi to Whitley to help her find N, before teleporting her into the Plasma Frigate. Whitley encounters Hugh, who apologizes to her and tells he's come to find N as well. Whitley and Hugh find N and free him. N agrees to return the Purrloin that was stolen from Hugh's sister after Ghetsis is defeated. In Undella Town, Cedric Juniper and Bianca help Cheren and Benga to break out of the frozen Marine Tube. Cheren's Snivy is revealed to have evolved into Servine. Kelden attacks Colress, but its attack instead hits the Reveal Glass, breaking it. With the Reveal Glass broken, the Forces of Nature revert to their Incarnate Formes and are defeated by the Swords of Justice, along with the Shadow Triad. The Forces of Nature escape, freed from Team Plasma's control. Hugh stays to battle the Team Plasma Grunts who stole Purrloin, while N and Whitley head to face Ghetsis. N and Whitley find Alder and Looker, who have defeated most of Ghetsis's Pokémon. N confronts Ghetsis in a storage room full of Poké Balls containing the Pokémon liberated by Team Plasma and swears to return all the "liberated" Pokémon to their Trainers. Looker tries to arrest Ghetsis, but he says he'll rather go down with his dream than be taken captive. An explosion tears the Plasma Frigate open, causing all the Poké Balls inside to fall out. Hugh saves a Snivy from the Team Plasma Grunts he chased. N tries to save Ghetsis from falling from the Plasma Frigate, but Ghetsis attacks him and calls him a monster. Ghetsis is saved from his fall by Zekrom. Kyurem separates Reshiram from itself and leaves. Black, White, and Iris pursue the Plasma Frigate on Reshiram. Colress is revealed to be controlling the Red Genesect through an improved Colress Machine held by his Beheeyem. Blake's Pokémon destroy the Colress Machine, and Blake defeats Colress with the help of Victini. Kyurem briefly returns to freeze Colress solid, allowing Looker to take him into custody. The Plasma Frigate collides with N's Castle, setting it on fire. The Unova first partner Pokémon families gather and combine their pledge moves in order to put out the fire. Ghetsis is taken into custody. Kyurem freezes over the Giant Chasm in order to rest peacefully. Hugh's sister gets her Purrloin back. Reshiram and Zekrom leave Black and N, respectively.

X & Y arc

An X-cuse to Come Out and Play	Y attempts to get X to leave his house, but to no avail. Alexa and Viola attempt to interview Y, but are met with anger instead. Trevor picks up three first partner Pokémon in hopes of getting X out of his house. Xerneas and Yveltal appear in Vaniville Town and begin fighting.
X-actly What They Wanted	Y gets her friends out of Vaniville Town to escape the destruction from Xerneas and Yveltal's fight. Trevor loses one of the first partner Pokémon and its Pokédex and Shauna loses her Furfrou. Team Flare begin their plan to capture Xerneas and Yveltal to fuel their ultimate weapon. Aliana and Mable attack X to steal his ring. Seeing X and her mother in peril allows Li'l Kanga to transform into a stronger form. Aliana and Mable are defeated and forced to retreat. With their homes destroyed and things missing, X and his friends leave to find some answers to their current situation.
Inn-teresting Developments	Y and her friends arrive in Aquacorde Town to stay the night at an inn. The first partner Pokémon that Trevor lost is revealed to be Fennekin. Tierno suggests that Chespin and Froakie should go to X and Y. The inn's innkeeper reveals herself to be a member of Team Flare and traps Y, Trevor, Tierno, and Shauna inside. Y breaks free, only to find Aliana and Mable attempting to steal Li'l Kanga. X demands that the Team Flare scientists let go of Li'l Kanga.
They Have a Flare for a Li'l Kanga-Napping	X attempts to have Li'l Kanga transform, but it fails. With no choice, X teams up with Chespin and defeats Aliana and Mable. X and Y receive Pokédexes. The group escapes and goes to camp out in the forest for the night. Trevor discovers a strange stone in Kanga's pouch. Professor Sycamore shows Lysandre the footage of the Vaniville Town incident.
Sylveon Enchants	Y is revealed to have caught an Eevee, nicknamed Veevee. After playing various games together with Y, Veevee evolves into Sylveon.
Kangaskhan...Kangascan't	Lysandre and Professor Sycamore review the footage of the Vaniville Town incident that Trevor sent. X and his friends arrive in Santalune City. Y comes up with a set of rules the make sure that her friends are safe. X and Trevor attempt to try and figure out the transformation that Li'l Kanga can use. The group is approached by Viola, who offers to help them. When Y accepts Viola's offer, Shauna runs off in anger because everyone decides to trust her so easily. Celosia tricks Shauna into being put under mind control.
The Aegislash Agenda	Viola challenges X to a battle and loses. Trevor, Tierno, and Y go over Viola's photos to find clues. Y finds Shauna , but notices her strange behavior. X reveals how he obtained his Mega Ring. Under the control of Celosia, Shauna steals Kanga's stone. After being caught, Shauna attacks Y, only for Viola to push her out of the way and take the attack. The strain of the mind control causes Shauna to faint. With the stone in hand, Celosia escapes with X pursuing her. X is helped by a girl and her Lucario.
Lucky Lucario Was Here	Korrina and her Mega Lucario come to help X and his friends. Trevor learns the transformation Li'l Kanga went through is called Mega Evolution. Viola awakens and reveals that she called Korrina to help after seeing the Key Stone on X's Mega Ring. With Viola's help, Li'l Kanga retrieves the Kangaskhanite, allowing her to Mega Evolve. X learns that the man who gave him his Mega Ring is Korrina's grandfather. Mega Lucario and Li'l Kanga defeat Celosia, forcing her to retreat. Back at the Gym, Shauna awakens and apologizes for not following Y's orders. Korrina gives Tierno a pair of Roller Skates. When X states he doesn't care about being a Mega Evolution Successor, Korrina decides to not tell him anything about Mega Evolution and leaves.
What Does Charmander Do When It Dozes	X and his friends arrive at Route 4. Trevor has X test Mega Evolution on Chespin, but it fails. Chespin and Froakie notice a Charmander sleeping in the flowerbeds and recognize it, confirming that Charmander belongs to Professor Sycamore. A disguised Sina and Dexio mistake X's group as thieves stealing Professor Sycamore's missing Charmander and takes it from them. Tierno uses his Roller Skates to retrieve Charmander and clears up the confusion. X's group arrives at Lumiose City, where they meet Professor Sycamore in person. Professor Sycamore challenges X to a battle after he notices that X hasn't picked Chespin as his Pokémon yet. Trevor and the others meet Lysandre to get the Holo Caster fixed, but Trevor gets scared after seeing Lysandre's silhouette in one of the photos Viola took. Xerosic finds Xerneas, who has reverted to the form of a tree.
Chespin Sows the Seeds of Change	Lysandre begins fixing Trevor's Holo Caster. Trevor tries to ask Lysandre about the photo, but is too scared to speak. When Lysandre notices, he sends his Pokémon out to coerce Trevor into giving him the photo. X battles Professor Sycamore with Chespin, but shows no interest. Chespin's refusal to back down impresses X enough to battle with it, but they end up losing to Charmander. X decides to keep Chespin and names it Marisso. X tells Professor Sycamore to give him Charmander as well. X senses his friends are in trouble and heads off to Lysandre Café. Y and her friends are protected by Diantha, who tells Lysandre to back off of his threats. Lysandre gets a call from Xerosic about Xerneas and leaves to do other business. Y recognizes Diantha as a famous movie star. After Diantha leaves, Trevor falls unconscious from stress. Lysandre tells his Gyarados that it will also be able to Mega Evolve as he looks at its Mega Stone. Y's group meets up with X.
Pangoro Poses a Problem	Alexa finishes her report of the Vaniville Town incident. Alexa learns from Viola what happened in Santalune City. Alexa heads off to Prism Tower to have an interview with Professor Sycamore. X reveals he decided to keep Marisso and nicknamed Charmander Salamè. Upon arriving, Alexa finds that the Lumiose Press editor-in-chief has already done the interview in her place. Sensing that something is wrong, X heads into Prism Tower and finds Alexa being attacked by the editor-in-chief. X rescues Alexa, but the editor-in-chief captures Heli and holds it hostage. Y takes Alexa to safety and promises that X will rescue Heli. Alexa realizes that some force must be controlling the media to ensure the truth about Vaniville Town does not become public knowledge.
Charging After Elektrike	X beats the Lumiose Press editor-in-chief and rescues Heli. Alexa gives the group a document that may help their adventure. Alexa leaves to meet with Viola. Trevor awakens. An Electrike from the Prism Tower begins following the group. Bonnie discovers the editor-in-chief unconscious, and finds that one of the Pokémon powering the Gym has gone missing. Grant and Clemont notice Grace being captured by Team Flare.
Fast-Thinking Froakie	Y decided to add Froakie to her team and named it Croaky. An Electrike attacks Y and steals her clothes. Croaky defeats the Electrike and retrieves Y's clothes. Team Flare locks Grace into a cell. Clemont introduces himself to the group and reveals the Electrike was from his Gym. The Electrike evolves into a Manectric. X realizes that Manectric was leading them to something that it wanted on top of a tree. The item is revealed to be another Mega Stone, which a Team Flare Grunt is also aiming for.
Overthrowing a Tyrunt	Clemont helps search for the Mega Stone in the tree, only to find the Team Flare Grunt watching them. The Grunt is exposed, but has his Tyrunt chew the tree and knock it down to collapse onto Clemont. Clemont is crushed by the tree and the Mega Stone is taken. X and Trevor chase after the Grunt while Y, Tierno, and Shauna combat the Grunt's other Pokémon. Clemont tells Y that her mother has been captured by Team Flare. X and Trevor arrive at the Parfum Palace, where the Grunt also steals Kanga's Kangaskhanite. X decides to keep Manectric and names it Élec. Cassius overhears the commotion and decides to intervene.
Morphing Manectric	X continues his battle against the Team Flare Grunt. Trevor helps X battle the Grunt. Clemont tells Y more about her mother's kidnapping. Cassius arrives and defeats the Grunt's Espurr. Clemont is sent flying by Psychic energy after he opens the Grunt's Espurr's ears to see the organs under them. At the cost of its flower, Trevor's Flabébé retrieves Li'l Kanga and Élec's Mega Stones and gives them back. X Mega Evolves Élec into Mega Manectric, allowing it to defeat the Grunt. The Grunt escapes, but drops a document containing a list of various Pokémon and the Mega Stones required to Mega Evolve them. X and Trevor return to their friends, only to find Y depressed from the news about her mother. Cassius introduces himself and his friends to X's group. Cassius introduces Emma, who has adopted one of the Grunt's Espurr.

Dancing Vivillon	X and his friends travel with Cassius and his gang to avoid their enemies. Emma nicknames her new Espurr Mimi. Y refuses to move due to the shock of what happened to her mother. Team Flare is revealed to have captured Clemont. Malva returns to active duty as a member of Team Flare and takes back the Pyroar she lent to Aliana. Malva finds the missing Fennekin's Poké Ball and takes it for herself. The third Pokédex is accidentally smashed under Malva's heel. Cassius decides to travel by air via the Battle Chateau's helicopter. A group of Sky Trainers surround the helicopter.
Burning Fletchinder	The Sky Trainers attack the helicopter. Y goes to battle the Sky Trainers, only to find they are her classmates from the Vaniville Town Sky Trainer academy. Yvette, the leader of the Sky Trainers, taunts Y about her issues with her mother. Angered by Yvette's statements, Y manages to get over the events of what happened to her mother. Fletchy evolves into a Fletchinder and defeats Yvette's Vivillon. X defeats the Aegislash that Malva used to control the Sky Trainers.
Shooting Frogadier	The damage done to the helicopter causes it to break down. A propellor breaks off of the helicopter and hits Y in the head, knocking her to the ground. Y lands safely due to Croaky's Frubbles. Y overhears Celosia and Malva talking about their plans to move Xerneas to Team Flare's base. Malva returns Celosia's Aegislash. Sensing Y's presence, Celosia attacks with her Honedge and manages to cut off a chunk of Y's hair. Croaky evolves into a Frogadier to save Y and escape Celosia. Cassius manages to land the helicopter, but is yelled at by Grant for the damages done to Cyllage City's cycling track. X and his friends leave Cassius behind to go find Y.
Gathering Klefki	Clemont awakens at the Team Flare Secret HQ. Xerosic holds Clemont's Heliolisk hostage to force him to build a machine for Team Flare. Essentia returns to have her Expansion Suit upgraded. Grace manages to get the captured Vaniville Town residents freed with the help of a wild Klefki. X, Trevor, Tierno, and Shauna continue looking for Y. They find a passerby Rhyhorn racer that Y has left Yvette in the care of. Y follows Celosia and Malva to where Xerneas is resting. Malva reveals her Fennekin has evolved into a Braixen. Celosia and Malva part ways to begin their plans. Y reunites with X and the others. Grace frees all the Vaniville residents, only for Celosia to arrive as they are leaving. Celosia possesses the Vaniville residents with her Aegislash and begins the operation to move Xerneas.
Tying Trevenant	Y and the others group and discuss how to deal with Team Flare's plan. X suggests watching Team Flare, following them to their base, and then attacking them with his Mega-Evolved Pokémon. Celosia begins the operation to move Xerneas. Celosia's Honedge presents Celosia a piece of Y's hair that it chopped off earlier. When Grace notices the hair, she briefly regains slight control of herself and tries to take the hair only to be knocked to the ground. When Y sees this, she immediately attacks Celosia, only to fall due to her damaged Sky Suit. X leaps in to help Y, but his attempts to simultaneously Mega Evolve Li'l Kanga and Élec fail and he is captured by Essentia's Trevenant. Essentia captures everyone with her Trevenant's vines. Celosia attempts to finish X off, but a Gengar stops her Aegislash from killing him. Korrina, Diantha, and Gurkinn arrive to save X and his friends.
Changing Gengar	The battle against Team Flare continues. Gurkinn frees X from his bindings and teaches him about Mega Evolution. X battles Essentia while Korrina goes after Celosia. Malva reveals herself and seals Diantha inside a Magic Room. Gurkinn gives X his Gengar, which is given the nickname Garma. X Mega Evolves Garma into Mega Gengar and defeats Essentia's Trevenant. Korrina arrives at Celosia's location and begins attacking her.
Surrounding Braixen	Korrina begins attacking Celosia. Essentia attempts to fool X's group with her suit's camouflage abilities, but the wild Klefki stops her. Xerosic has Essentia retreat. Diantha and Malva continue their battle. The Magic Room sinks into the ground, despite Y and Shauna 's efforts to stop it. Korrina defeats Celosia, but her Lucario is knocked out as well. As she celebrates her victory, Celosia's Honedge sneaks behind Korrina and attacks. Trevor finds Korrina on the ground, unconscious and her Key Stone removed from her Mega Glove.
Quilladin Stands	Korrina, the Vaniville Town residents, and Sky Trainers are taken to a hospital in Laverre City to recuperate. Valerie, Olympia, and Grant come to visit Korrina, but soon leave to meet with Wulfric and Ramos. Y, Tierno, and Shauna train with Gurkinn. X, blaming himself for what happened to Korrina, holes himself at the base of a large tree. Marisso and Salamè evolve into Quilladin and Charmeleon, respectively. Xerosic presents Lysandre with a Mega Ring fitted with Korrina's Key Stone and the Lysandre Machine created by Clemont. Having no more use for him, Xerosic throws Clemont down a garbage incineration chute. X receives a telepathic message from Xerneas assuring him to not give up and aim to fix his mistake. Klefki presents X with Clemont's glasses, which show an image of Geosenge Town. X realizes that Clemont is in Team Flare's Secret HQ, and sets off to Geosenge Town to stop Team Flare.
Gyarados Changes	X arrives in front of the Team Flare Secret HQ in Geosenge Town. X is approached by Emma, who reveals she followed him and offers to help infiltrate the building. Bryony sends Aliana and Mable away and knocks Celosia unconscious due to the effect of using her Aegislash too much. Bryony opens the HQ's doors for X and Emma. X gets separated from Emma after stepping on a warp tile, sending him into the ultimate weapon's control room with Lysandre. Lysandre reveals his Mega Ring with the Key Stone fitted from Korrina's Mega Glove and uses it to Mega Evolve his Gyarados. Y, Tierno, and Shauna finish their training with Gurkinn. Gurkinn begins wondering if he should give Y his Key Stone. Trevor informs everyone that X left. Emma continues exploring the building, and ends up in front of the cell of a giant man.
Pyroar Breathes	X continues his battle with Lysandre. During the battle, Xerneas turns back into its normal form. Y, Trevor, Tierno, Shauna, and the Kalos Gym Leaders set off to Geosenge Town. Y adds Rhyhorn to her team and names it Rhyrhy. Despite Xerneas taking back most of its energy, Lysandre decides to continue activating the ultimate weapon. Y and the others arrive in Geosenge Town as the ultimate weapon is being unearthed. Y and the Gym Leaders use their bodies to try and keep the ultimate weapon's petals from blooming.
Flabébé Blooms	Y and the Gym Leaders continue to try and keep the ultimate weapon from blooming. Bryony attacks the Gym Leaders to stop them from interfering with the ultimate weapon. Olympia tells Trevor, Tierno, and Shauna to head to the ultimate weapon's control room. As they travel, Trevor's group meets with Clemont again. Trevor's group passes by the cell of AZ, who was befriended by Emma. AZ tells the group the story about how he fired the ultimate weapon after using it to revive his deceased Floette. After freeing AZ, Trevor's group arrives at the control room, where they find X defeated. Trevor confronts Lysandre and attempts to remove the ultimate weapon's control room. Tierno and Shauna assist Trevor, but the ultimate weapon fires on Kalos despite them successfully removing the key. Xerneas tells AZ that despite the ultimate weapon firing, there is a human that it wishes to join forces with.
Rhyhorn Charges	AZ has Xerneas take everyone back to the surface while he is captured by Xerosic. Y reveals that she and the Gym Leaders survived the blast due to the barriers created by Valerie and Olympia's Pokémon. Xerosic informs Lysandre that despite the ultimate weapon firing, only buildings were damaged and no lives were taken in the blast. After Xerneas lands on the surface, it begins searching for a human to capture it. Bryony and a group of Team Flare Grunts attempt to capture Xerneas. Y decides to take Xerneas for herself and names it Xerxer. Y and Xerxer easily defeat Bryony and the Grunts. Y attempts to destroy the ultimate weapon, only to be stopped by the arrival of Malva, who has captured Yveltal. Malva reveals that Yveltal went dormant in its cocoon form buried in the ground under Xerneas's tree form. Malva attacks Y, but Xerosic tells her to stop as Lysandre stated that Xerneas and Yveltal are equal in strength, which means that battling will only lead to an endless fight between the two. Xerxer decides that retreating is the best option and flies off with everyone on its back. Blue watches the incident unfold from afar and wonders if "Z" is the key to ending the battle between Xerneas and Yveltal.
Pinsir Glares	Blue helps Diantha out from underground and is revealed to have taken back Rhyperior. Blue tells Diantha that he is searching for Zygarde, also known as "Z", in order to stop the battle between Xerneas and Yveltal. X and his friends rest at the Lost Hotel, where they have a meal cooked by Siebold. Ramos reveals that Team Flare blamed the destruction caused by the ultimate weapon on the Vaniville group and the Gym Leaders. The Kalos Gym Leaders help rebuild the damaged done by the ultimate weapon. Y has Shauna cut her hair shorter and receives a Mega Ring from Gurkinn. Y takes X out to capture a Pokémon capable of Mega Evolution. Y flashes back to the day she first met X. X decides that Y should capture an Absol while he decides to get a Pinsir. As they search, a wild Pinsir watches X and Y from afar. While traveling with Blue, Diantha wonders about the true identity of Essentia.
Scizor Defends	Team Flare is revealed to have gone into hiding at Pokémon Village. Y captures an Absol. The group comes across an unconscious Scyther that is guarded by a wild Pinsir. X attempts to capture the Pinsir, but fails due to a lack of skill in throwing Poké Balls. X's group meets Blue and learns that Diantha is safe. Blue assists X in capturing the wild Pinsir and reveals the Scyther is unconscious due to its life energy being drained. After battling Blue together, X convinces Pinsir to join his team until Scyther recovers from its condition. Trevor receives a call from Professor Sycamore, who asks everyone to meet him in Anistar City.
Hawlucha Attacks	As Professor Sycamore waits, Zygarde appears behind him. Blue and Diantha meet with Gurkinn at the Lost Hotel. Blue is revealed to be a Mega Evolution Successor. X and his friends arrive in Anistar City, only to find Professor Sycamore under attack. X's Pinsir is revealed to be named Rute while Y's Absol is named Solsol. Together, X and Y rescue Professor Sycamore. Sycamore reveals that due to the ultimate weapon firing on Kalos, X and Y are now able to search for Mega Stones between 8 PM and 9 PM. X and Y give their Mega Rings to Tierno and Shauna so that they may find the Mega Stones for Rute and Solsol. Essentia watches the event from afar, but is spotted by Y.
Pinsir Changes	Tierno and Shauna search for the Mega Stones for Rute and Solsol. Y battles Essentia on the rooftops of Anistar City. Essentia uses her suit's Poké Ball Jack function to try and take control over Xerxer. Essentia, disguising herself as a Nurse, knocks Y out and steals Xerxer. Tierno and Shauna come across a large pile of Pokémon drained of their life energy. Essentia attempts to trick X while disguised as Y, but her plan is easily seen through. Tierno and Shauna return with a now-conscious Y. Tierno and Shauna hand X and Y their Mega Rings back and give them the Mega Stones they found. X and Y Mega Evolve Rute and Solsol into Mega Pinsir and Mega Absol, respectively. Essentia prepares to use Xerxer to battle X and Y.
Zygarde Appears	Xerosic discovers that the stones on Route 10 are primitive Absorbers, which will allow the ultimate weapon to be powered again. Xerosic reveals he is aware of Zygarde's existence, having been told that Team Flare was under its surveillance after AZ escaped from being captured. Xerosic checks on Essentia's vitals, only to find that she is in battle in Anistar City. X and Y battle against Essentia, who struggles to fully control Xerxer due to its Legendary status. The battle is interrupted by the arrival of Zygarde, forcing Essentia to attempt to capture it. Blue and Diantha arrive, but are too late to stop Essentia from taking Zygarde and escaping. The damage done to Essentia's suit prevents Xerosic from communicating with or controlling her anymore. Professor Sycamore receives a call from Sina and Dexio, who inform him that Team Flare has gone into hiding at Pokémon Village.
Malamar Traps	X and his friends stay the night at Route 18 before heading to Pokémon Village to confront Team Flare. Diantha introduces X to Wikstrom and Drasna, who are also assisting the heroes. Xerosic reports the recent events to Lysandre, who orders that he stop the Expansion Suit project. The next day, X and his friends set off to the Pokémon Village alongside Diantha and Blue. Y reveals that Xerxer has reverted to its tree form while Salamè refuses to leave its Poké Ball. As they travel, Croaky senses something and evolves into a Greninja. Croaky attempts to warn the group of an attacker, but everyone falls asleep before fully understanding its intentions. The culprit reveals himself to be Xerosic, who used his Malamar's Hypnosis to put everyone to sleep. X reveals that he didn't fall asleep and has Croaky defeat Malamar. X interrogates Xerosic and asks why he didn't just ambush them at the Pokémon Village. At the Pokémon Village, multiple Team Flare members report being attacked by Wikstrom, Drasna, and Siebold. Inside a cave at the village, Mewtwo lies in wait.
Chesnaught Protects	X continues to interrogate Xerosic, who refuses to give a straight answer. Xerosic reveals how he met Lysandre. Croaky is defeated by Malamar, leaving X with only Salamè, who still refuses to leave his Poké Ball. Xerosic attempts to attack Salamè's Poké Ball, but is stopped by Marisso, who evolves into a Chesnaught to protect Salamè. Seeing his friend protect him gives Salamè the courage to come out and fight. X reveals the reason Salamè refused to come out was because he was scared that he couldn't handle Mega Evolution. Despite Xerosic's confidence that Charizard doesn't have a Mega Evolution, Salamè blows on his tail to reveal a Charizardite X.
Charizard Transforms	Blue wakes up and reveals that he is a Mega Evolution Successor with a Key Stone. Salamè evolves into a Charizard. Y, Trevor, Tierno, and Shauna go on ahead to the Pokémon Village while X and Blue fight Xerosic. With their Key Stones, X and Blue Mega Evolve Salamè and Charizard into Mega Charizard X and Y, respectively. The remaining Team Flare Scientists pick one member of Y's group to fight alone. Aliana chooses to battle Y, Mable chooses Tierno, Celosia chooses Shauna, and Bryony chooses Trevor. X and Blue defeat Xerosic and leave to go help their friends. Malva's Yveltal appears and attacks Blue, but it is blocked by Y and Xerxer. Xerxer decides to stay behind and fight Yveltal while Y, X, Blue, and Trevor go on ahead. Y and Trevor decide to stay behind and help Tierno and Shauna while X and Blue head to the village. Malva's Braixen is revealed to have evolved into a Delphox. On Route 10, Team Flare Grunts tie captured Pokémon to the ancient Absorbers, and one of the Pokémon turns out to be Shauna's Furfrou, who recognizes Delphox and calls out to it.
Yveltal Steals	Xerxer continues its battle against Yveltal. Y and Trevor decide to stay behind and help Tierno and Shauna while X and Blue head to the Pokémon Village. Diantha is revealed to have awakened, but is intercepted by Malva. X and Blue arrive at the village, but are attacked by Mewtwo. Lysandre appears and reveals that Mewtwo is the protector of the Pokémon Village. Mewtwo Mega Evolves into Mega Mewtwo Y. Blue notices another person in the distance who was responsible for Mega Evolving Mewtwo. Lysandre uses a device to summon Zygarde.
Mewtwo Angered	Lysandre's Pokémon continue to battle Mewtwo. Lysandre reveals that he has complete control over Essentia. The person who Mega Evolved Mewtwo is revealed to be Blaine. Lysandre has Essentia command Zygarde to attack everyone with Land's Wrath. Diantha blocks Malva's attack, but finds that Malva stole her Mega Charm. Y and Trevor are attacked by Aliana and Bryony. Trevor's Flabébé evolves into a Floette. Trevor decides to stay behind and fight while Y goes to help X and Blue. Blaine reveals that Mewtwo has two Mega-Evolved forms and their bond allows them to utilize Mega Evolution more than once per battle. Mewtwo Mega Evolves into Mega Mewtwo X in order to fight Zygarde. X attacks Essentia in order to sever Lysandre's control over Zygarde, only to find that Emma is the one in the suit. Y finds Diantha and Malva battling in the air and knocks the Mega Charm out of Malva's hand. Blue finds the Mega Charm and realizes that it may be the key to victory. X tries to help Emma out of the suit, but she refuses. Y attempts to help Diantha, but is rejected.
Zygarde Agitated	Diantha and Malva continue their battle. Trevor is unable to defeat Bryony, but is assisted by Croaky, who was left behind to help. Blaine and Mewtwo are defeated. Emma reveals she is helping Team Flare to get money to help Cassius. Cassius arrives and destroys the device keeping Emma under Lysandre's control. Emma attempts to have Zygarde attack Lysandre, but is attacked and has Zygarde's Poké Ball stolen. Y has Solsol take back the Key Stone that was stolen from Korrina. Lysandre announces to all of Kalos that he plans on activating the ultimate weapon to wipe the slate clean. Blue, Emma, and Cassius are defeated by Zygarde's attack. X takes the Key Stones from Blue, Korrina, Diantha, and Y in order to activate simultaneous five-times Mega Evolution for all his capable Pokémon. X's Mega-Evolved team set out to battle Zygarde. On Route 10, the process of draining the life energy is interrupted by the arrival of Alexa, Viola, Clemont, Bonnie, and Yvette.
Xerneas Gives	Clemont's team work together to free the captured Pokémon, but are attacked by Delphox. Chalmers attempts to call for backup, only to find the Gym Leaders have already defeated the other members of Team Flare. Tierno, Shauna, and Trevor defeat the four Team Flare Scientists. Trevor's group goes to help the others, only to find Xerxer and Yveltal returning to their dormant forms. Xerxer reveals that with it and Yveltal gone, Zygarde would have no reason to remain there. X's team continues attacking Zygarde, which begins splitting into pieces. After a combined attack, Zygarde is fully separated after Xerxer and Yveltal fully revert. With nothing to stand on, Lysandre falls to the rubble below. Malva attempts to save Lysandre, but both end up falling onto the ground and are defeated. With Team Flare defeated, X and his friends head back to Lumiose City and say farewell to their allies. Despite their hard work, the townspeople treat X and his friends as if they were dirty street urchins. AZ then approaches the group and asks how they plan on living in Kalos with the knowledge they had just learned.
Floette Returns	AZ reveals that he was the one who made the ultimate weapon and retrieved the key from the Team Flare Secret HQ. AZ states that Team Flare's goals weren't wrong and goes to reactivate the ultimate weapon. X and his friend battle AZ to stop him, which ends with the key being destroyed. AZ reveals the whole ordeal was an act to convince X and his friends to not take the same path Lysandre did. With his mind at ease, AZ thanks the kids, but is shocked to see the return of his Floette. AZ and Floette go their separate ways from X's group. Professor Sycamore, the Kalos Gym Leaders, Alexa, Bonnie, and Yvette arrive to greet X and his friends. Clemont returns Tri-P to Shauna and gives Trevor the Delphox he fought at Route 10. Professor Sycamore proposes to have a parade to celebrate the victory of the Vaniville children, but they decline. X and his friends head back to Vaniville Town, where Y reunites with Grace. Blue and Blaine reveal they saw a strange creature from where Zygarde once stood. Professor Sycamore reveals that similar creatures were sighted in the Alola region and sends Sina and Dexio to Alola to investigate. Three months later, Shauna has become a Furfrou stylist, Tierno made a name for himself as the leader of a dancing group, and Trevor has become Professor Sycamore's assistant. X removes the tent from on top of Rhyrhy now that his house is rebuilt. X reveals that he will go to Shalour City to become an official Mega Evolution Successor while Y goes to start her next semester at the Sky Trainer academy.

The Grand Entrance and Delivery Boy Sun	Moon arrives in the Alola region to make a delivery. Moon meets Sun, a young man working to gain $1 million. Sun attempts to get paid for his services from Team Skull, but ends up having to fight them. Sun offers to help Moon with her delivery.
The Delivery of Rotom and the Girl	The Team Skull Grunts report to Guzma about their loss to Sun. Guzma tells the Grunts to bring Sun to him so he can teach the boy a lesson personally. Sun sets out to take Moon and Rotom to Professor Kukui as part of his delivery. Moon reveals that she is a pharmacist and a skilled archer. Sun and Moon meet the guardian deity of Melemele Island, Tapu Koko, who attacks them. After a brief battle with Sun, Tapu Koko flees, leaving behind a Sparkling Stone. Sun and Moon arrive at Professor Kukui's laboratory. The island kahunas reveal that the guardian deities have been angered, and begin planning on how to appease them.
Pokémon Move Specialist Professor Kukui	Sun delivers Moon and Rotom to Professor Kukui. Moon gives Rotom to Professor Kukui. Professor Kukui reveals he needed a Rotom to have it combine with the Pokédex he gave to Sun. Due to Sun's mishandling of the Pokédex, Rotom refuses to enter the device. The island kahunas plan to host a tournament at a festival to determine who will travel the islands and calm the Guardian deities. Professor Kukui enters Sun in the festival.
The Decision and the Tournament of Six	Sun and Moon arrive at Iki Town, where the festival commences. Moon is enlisted by Olivia to help decide the placement of the tournament entrees. Moon meets Lillie. Lillie's Cosmog, Nebby, runs off, forcing Moon, Lillie, and Olivia to chase after it to Mahalo Trail. Moon discovers a strange crack in the sky. Moon saves Nebby from a flock of wild Spearow, but Nebby causes the bridge they were standing on to be destroyed. Moon and Nebby are saved by Tapu Koko. After learning that Lillie was entered in the tournament as a mistake, Moon decides to take her place instead. The final participant in the tournament is revealed to be Gladion. Sun starts his battle against the Masked Royal.
The Announcement and the Prize	Sun battles the Masked Royal. Hala reveals the prize for winning the tournament is an island challenge amulet. Sun defeats the Masked Royal and advances to the next round. Gladion battles against Hau in the next battle. Guzma arrives at Iki Town and announces that he is taking Grunt A's place in the tournament.
The Party Crasher and Guzma the Destroyer	Gladion defeats Hau and advances to the next round. Sun battles against Guzma and wins, advancing him to the final round. Moon is revealed to have obtained a Grubbin, a Mareanie, and an Alolan Grimer. Moon and Gladion begin their battle against each other.
The Final Match and a Surprising Finale!	Moon and Gladion continue their battle. Moon learns about Regional forms from Samson Oak. Gladion defeats Moon and advances to the final round. Sun and Gladion begin their battle against each other. A mysterious energy shoots from the crack in the sky and hits the Sparkling Stone on Sun's wrist. The energy allows Dollar to fire a powerful attack that defeats Gladion's Type: Null. Sun passes out from exhaustion. Gladion leaves and reveals that his goal is to defeat the Ultra Beasts. The next day, Sun awakens on a boat with the island challenge amulet, where he meets the Rotom Pokédex.
Going Ashore and Neighboring Akala Island	Moon receives Rowlet from Professor Kukui. Sun receives a task to deliver special Mirage Berries to each of Alola's guardian deities, which he accepts after learning he will be paid. Hala is revealed to have taken Sun's Sparkling Stone in order to fix it into something. The Rotom Pokédex is revealed to be the Rotom Moon transported to Alola after it combined with a spare Pokédex. Moon takes the Rotom Pokédex for herself while Sun is given his usual Pokédex back. Gladion travels to the Ruins of Conflict, only to find Guzma there instead of Tapu Koko. Guzma enlists Gladion as a member of Team Skull as an Enforcer. Sun, Moon, and Professor Kukui arrive at Heahea City on Akala Island. Professor Kukui heads off to talk to his wife, Professor Burnet. Sun and Moon meet Lana, Kiawe, and Mallow, the Trial Captains of Akala Island. Kiawe challenges Sun to a battle to see if he's worthy enough of doing the island challenge. The battle ends without a winner, but Kiawe accepts Sun. Lana, still unconvinced about Sun, tells everyone to follow her to Brooklet Hill.
True Identity and the Totem Pokémon of Brooklet Hill	Sun is tasked by Lana to defeat the Totem Pokémon of Brooklet Hill. Sun and Lana head off to Brooklet Hill, Kiawe goes to work, while Moon and Mallow go to Lush Jungle to collect Berry samples. At the Dimensional Research Lab, Professor Kukui learns from Professor Burnet that Nebby is a Legendary Pokémon named Cosmog. At Brooklet Hill, Sun befriends a wild Wishiwashi, which he nicknames Quarter and asks to help search for the Totem Pokémon. After Dollar scares Quarter out of anger, it summons other Wishiwashi to form a School Form Wishiwashi, the Totem of Brooklet Hill. At Lush Jungle, Moon and Mallow witness Tapu Lele in battle with a Xurkitree.
Defeat and the Commander of the School of Fish	Moon tries to capture the Xurkitree, but it manages to escape. Without a name to call the Ultra Beast, Moon and Mallow give it the codename "Lighting". Sun defeats the Totem Wishiwashi. Sun officially adds Quarter to his team. Hala is visited by Kahili.
Homecoming and the Brilliant Professional Golfer	Kahili reveals she was attacked by a Buzzwole and Kartana shortly after arriving in Alola. Moon is revealed to be from Sinnoh and worked under Mr. Berlitz. With Mallow's help, Moon finds the Mirage Berry. Mallow receives a call from Kiawe, who was attacked by someone. Sun and Lana meet up with Moon and Mallow at Memorial Hill, where they find Kiawe, lying on the ground defeated. A group of Team Skull Grunts attack, claiming that they were the ones who defeated Kiawe. Kiawe reveals that Dollar is in possession of a Firium Z.
The Wild Full-Power Pose of Fire	Lana and Mallow stay back to fight the Team Skull Grunts while Sun, Moon, and Kiawe head to the Ruins of Life to protect Tapu Lele. Kiawe teaches Sun how to perform the Z-Move Inferno Overdrive. Gladion is revealed to be Kiawe's attacker and has managed to capture Tapu Lele. Kiawe tries to lend his Z-Ring to Sun, but it is destroyed by Gladion's Type: Null. Kahili appears and delivers Sun his Z-Ring that was created by Hala. With the Z-Ring, Sun and Dollar activate Inferno Overdrive.
Unleashing the Incredible Z-Move	Sun successfully activates Inferno Overdrive and has Dollar use it on Gladion's Type: Null. Type: Null's mask begins to break, forcing Gladion to return it out of fear of what will happen. Deciding that Tapu Lele is too weak, Gladion retreats and tells everyone that Ultra Wormholes exits and that something is trying to break free from them. After Tapu Lele awakens, Sun successfully delivers the Mirage Berry to it, completing his task. Tapu Lele challenges the group to a battle to test their resolve. Despite Tapu Lele's strength, Dollar manages to land a hit on it after evolving into a Torracat. Worried about what Gladion said, Moon consults the Rotom Pokédex as Ultra Beasts could be trying to appear in Alola. The only answer it can provide is "Necrozma". At Aether Paradise, Lusamine watches as a new Aether Foundation commercial is filmed.
Flash and Cosmog's Secret	Moon battles and defeats a Totem Lurantis for training. Sun and Moon meet Professor Kukui's wife, Professor Burnet. Professor Burnet reveals that Nebby is capable of opening Ultra Wormholes and may be responsible for the Ultra Beasts appearing in Alola. Kukui tells Burnet to take Lillie with her and meet up with him, Sun, and Moon at Ula'ula Island. Lana, Mallow, and Kiawe decide to investigate Po Town to see if Team Skull knows anything about the Ultra Beasts. Mallow decides to call Ilima and Acerola for their assistance. Gladion arrives at Po Town for the first time, where he meets Plumeria, a Team Skull Admin. A Zygarde Core spies on Gladion.
Shipwreck and "Oh, What Sharp Teeth You Have, Bruxish!"	Professor Kukui takes Sun and Moon to Ula'ula Island on his yacht. Using Mantine Surf, Professor Burnet and Lillie meet up with Kukui's group. A wild Bruxish attacks everyone, causing the group to get knocked out. Sun defeats Bruxish with Quarter and rescues Lillie, but the two end up separated from the others and end up on an Ula'ula beach. Acerola finds Sun and Lillie and takes them to the Aether House to recuperate. After Sun and Lillie properly introduce themselves to each other, Sun realizes that Acerola is a Trial Captain. Moon, Kukui, and Burnet end up rescued by the Aether Foundation and are taken to Aether Paradise to rest up. Moon's group is greeted by Faba and Wicke, who offer to give them a tour of Aether Paradise.
A Photoshoot and the Abandoned Thrifty Megamart	Faba and Wicke give Moon, Professor Kukui, and Professor Burnet a tour of Aether Paradise. After hearing the Trial Captains are going to meet with Team Skull, Faba heads off to inform Lusamine. Acerola properly introduces herself to Sun and Lillie. Acerola tells Sun that if he wants to meet with Tapu Bulu, he'll need to complete her trial first. Sun is given the task of photographing the Totem Pokémon that lives inside of the abandoned Thrifty Megamart and gives him a camera to complete the task. After finding the Totem, a Mimikyu, Sun battles against it, but the camera ends up getting destroyed. Rotom reveals that it got dragged along when Sun went to rescue Lillie earlier and lets Sun use its Poké Finder function to replace the broken camera. At the Trainers' School, Ilima agrees to help Mallow and the others meet with Team Skull. Hau appears at the Trainers' School to meet with Ilima and is revealed to have obtained a Popplio. Sina and Dexio arrive on Ula'ula Island to find someone that can help with their search for Zygarde's Cores and Cells scattered across Alola. Sun has Dollar use Inferno Overdrive on Mimikyu to stun it long enough to take its photo, but the attack doesn't work, allowing Mimikyu to easily retaliate.
A Raid and Po Town	Hau asks if he can join Ilima and the other Trial Captains to meet with Team Skull at Po Town. Sun realizes that Totem Mimikyu is angry that he insulted its appearance earlier. After Sun apologizes, Mimikyu joins Sun's team and is nicknamed Penny. Rotom takes a photo of Sun and Penny, successfully completing the trial. Realizing the Mirage Berry for Tapu Bulu was left behind on Professor Kukui's yacht, Sun uses Stoutland Search to look for another one. Sina and Dexio spot Sun and decide to have him assist in finding the Zygarde Cores and Cells. After discovering that Nebby knows about the guardian deities and Rotom can translate it, Sun decides to ask Nebby directly how to calm the deities down without the need for Mirage Berries. Nebby is revealed to have evolved into a Cosmoem, which is completely unresponsive. The Trial Captains and Hau arrive at Po Town, but are accosted by several Team Skull Grunts. Guzma appears and, after hearing they only want to talk, agrees to the Captains' demands, but only if they're able to make it to him first. A Guzzlord, Pheromosa, and Celesteela appear to surround the Captains and Hau. At the Aether House, Sun counts his money and discovers he only needs ten million yen more to complete his goal.
Confusion and Monsters from Another World	Sina and Dexio meet with Sun and ask for his help in finding the Zygarde Cores and Cells scattered across Alola. Sina and Dexio offer to pay Sun one hundred thousand yen for each of the forty Cores and Cells remaining, leaving Sun with only six million yen left to save if he completes the task. Sun agrees to help and tells Lillie to stay behind while he goes to Po Town to begin his search. Sun arrives at Po Town, only to find the Trial Captains and Hau easily defeated by the rampaging Ultra Beasts. Guzma reveals he is in possession of another Cosmog, which he uses to open more Ultra Wormholes to summon more Ultra Beasts. Gladion appears and demands that Guzma tell him where he received Cosmog from. On the outskirts of Ula'ula Island, Professor Kukui, worried about what might be happening at Po Town, drives his yacht to find a place to dock. Moon tells Kukui to drive as close to Ula'ula as he can so she can use Rowlet to fly her to Po Town.
Truth and the Mastermind Behind Team Skull	Gladion uses Type: Null to battle the Ultra Beasts, which it does with ease as it was created by Aether Foundation specifically for that purpose. Gladion reveals that Lusamine is the one behind the Ultra Beasts incidents and dreams of making a paradise just for her and the Ultra Beasts she loves. Moon arrives at Po Town and asks Gladion if he's telling the truth. A Xurkitree appears from an Ultra Wormhole and begins attacking everyone while a Nihilego also appears and drags Guzma with it into another Ultra Wormhole. The other four Ultra Beasts escape Po Town's barrier and begin causing havoc around Ula'ula Island. The Captains ask Gladion to help them, but he refuses and heads off. Sun and Moon stay behind while the Captains head off to rescue any people caught in the danger. The people of Ula'ula are evacuated to Hokulani Observatory for shelter while Molayne and Sophocles keep watch on them. Sophocles decides to use an invention of his to keep the Ultra Beasts away from the observatory. Sun collects a Zygarde Cell. Moon's Grubbin is revealed to have evolved into a Charjabug. Sun reveals the reason he needs to collect money is to buy back the island the Aether Foundation stole from his great-grandfather. Anabel and Looker, members of the International Police, arrive to question Sun and Moon.
An Urgent Task and the Capture of an Ultra Beast	Sun and Moon tell Anabel and Looker about the Ultra Beasts in Alola. Looker heads off to gather information about the Ultra Beasts. Anabel and Sun battle a Blacephalon that appeared from an Ultra Wormhole and try to catch it, but fail. Tapu Bulu appears and blows Blacephalon away, rescuing everyone from it. Sun and Moon give Tapu Bulu the Mirage Berry. Anabel decides to look for the person who can make Poké Balls capable of capturing Ultra Beasts.
Thieving and Boss Crabominable	Hala, Olivia, and Nanu agree to make Hapu the next island kahuna of Poni Island. While Hala fends off a Buzzwole and Kartana, Olivia and Nanu go to protect their respective islands from Ultra Beasts. Sun, Moon, and Anabel head to Poni Island. Sun goes ahead to find someone who knows where Tapu Fini is, only to have his Mirage Berry stolen by a pair of Crabrawler. Sun follows the Crabrawler to their Seafolk Village hideout, led by a Crabominable. After being beaten by Crabominable, Sun is rescued by Hapu.
The Truth and Island Kahuna Hapu	After defeating Crabominable, Hapu receives a Sparkling Stone from Tapu Fini, officially making her the next island kahuna of Poni Island. Sun gives Tapu Fini a Mirage Berry. Professor Kukui, Molayne, Acerola, Sophocles, and Gladion fight Guzzlord to prevent it from reaching Hokulani Observatory. In order to protect Lillie, Gladion's Type: Null evolves into a Silvally and defeats Guzzlord. Gladion and Lillie reveal that they're siblings and the children of Lusamine. Lillie reveals she is in possession of the Sun Flute. Gladion and Lillie decide to go to the Poni Altar. Faba and a group of Aether Foundation Employees head to Vast Poni Canyon.
Battle in Vast Poni Canyon	Crabominable returns, asking to join Hapu's team. When Hapu refuses and suggests it join Sun, Crabominable reluctantly agrees and is named Loot. Hapu reveals she is in possession of the Moon Flute. Gladion and Lillie head to the Poni Altar, but are attacked by a Xurkitree. Faba and the Aether Foundation Employees arrive at Vast Poni Canyon and split into two groups: one to capture Hapu, and the other to head to the Poni Altar. Plumeria confronts Faba, demanding to know where Guzma was taken to. Plumeria reveals she has the Cosmog Guzma received from the Aether Foundation, though it has since evolved into a Cosmoem. Moon and Anabel arrive to confront Faba. Faba has the Employees battle in his place while he tries to escape. Nebby and the other Cosmoem fly into the air and meet each other.
Play the Melody That Echoes in the Altar	Moon, Anabel, and Plumeria follow after Faba. Sun and Hapu are approached by a group of Aether Foundation Employees. The Employees retreat when Gladion and Lillie arrive. The guardian deities take Sun and both flutes to the Poni Altar. Faba offers to help Plumeria find Guzma if she helps him take over the Aether Foundation. The guardian deities have Sun and Moon play the Sun Flute and Moon Flute, causing the Altar to react.
Summon the Emissaries of the Moon and the Sun	Nebby and the other Cosmoem evolve into Lunala and Solgaleo, respectively. A small army of Ultra Beasts converge at the Poni Altar, forcing everyone to fight them off. Sun confronts Faba about the island the Aether Foundation took from his late great-grandfather, only to find that the island was converted to Aether Paradise, making the five years Sun spent to gather money entirely pointless. A Necrozma's hand emerges from an Ultra Wormhole and grabs Solgaleo, fusing with it. The possessed Solgaleo grabs Sun and drags him into the wormhole with it while Moon and Lunala chase after them. Six months later, Lusamine is seen spending time with a group of Ultra Beasts on Poni Island.
Adventure in the Dark Dimension	Wicke and an Aether Foundation Employee learn Lusamine is on Poni Island with a group of Ultra Beasts. Unable to get past the Ultra Beasts guarding the island, Wicke and the Employee return to the Aether House, where they tell Gladion and Lillie what they learned. The Employee reveals Faba managed to take control of the Aether Foundation. Anabel is revealed to have gone into the Ultra Wormhole at the Poni Altar. The Trial Captains and island kahunas are revealed to have started training to face the Ultra Beasts. Wicke and the Employee decide to head back to Aether Foundation to get more information before making the next move. Sun and Moon are revealed to have ended up at the Ultra Deep Sea and have been separated from Lunala. The Zygarde Cells Sun collected are revealed to be able to fuse into its 10% Forme. Moon's Rowlet is revealed to have evolved into a Dartrix. Sun and Moon change into a new pair of clothes. Sun and Moon encounter Lunala again, but it is being ridden by Dulse and Zossie, who Sun mistakes for enemies.
Meeting the Ultra Recon Squad	Sun and Moon meet Dulse and Zossie of the Ultra Recon Squad. Dulse reveals that he worked with the Aether Foundation simply to make Poké Balls capable of capturing Ultra Beasts. Lunala returns to Sun and Moon. Dulse agrees to stay behind while Zossie goes with Sun and Moon on Lunala. With Zossie's guidance, Sun and Moon arrive at the Ultra Megalopolis.
Arrival at the Scientific Megalopolis	Zossie introduces Sun and Moon to the Ultra Megalopolis. A Stakataka arrives to do battle with Necrozma. Sun and Moon meet Soliera, another Ultra Recon Squad member. Soliera forces Sun and Moon to battle Stakataka to prove their strength. Lusamine receives a large amount of Beast Balls from Blake disguised as Colress, which she aims to use to capture Necrozma.
Darkness!! The Mysterious Claws of Necrozma!	Sun and Moon defeat Stakataka. Attracted by Lunala's aura, Necrozma separates from Solgaleo and attacks it. Phyco, the Ultra Recon Squad's captain, arrives at the Poni Altar to take Lusamine to the Ultra Megalopolis. Lusamine uses a Beast Ball to capture the Naganadel Phyco rode to Alola. Moon's Grimer is revealed to have evolved into a Muk. Lusamine and Phyco arrive at the Ultra Megalopolis to capture Necrozma. Angered by Sun's hatred of the Aether Foundation, Lusamine sends out a Nihilego and has it fuse with her.
Madness!! Mother Lusamine!	Mina arrives on Poni Island, where she finds an injured Guzma. Wicke takes Mina to Exeggutor Island to train with the other Trial Captains. Guzma is taken to a medical ward, where he explains what happened to him after being kidnapped. Lusamine and her Aether Foundation Employees try to capture Necrozma. Necrozma absorbs Lunala to become its Dawn Wings form. Sun captures Stakataka to use against Lusamine and nicknames it Drachma. Sina and Dexio tell Samson Oak about the Reassembly Unit and their plan to use it on Zygarde. Moon tries to capture Lusamine's Nihilego with a Beast Ball, but refuses as it could potentially hurt Lusamine.
Ray of Light!! Through the Crack in the Sky!	Lillie learns from Mina that her father is still alive. Lusamine chases after Necrozma, forcing Sun, Moon, and Phyco to follow after them. Faba learns an Ultra Wormhole opened above Mount Lanakila and enlists Plumeria to help deal with Lusamine. With encouragement from Gladion, Lillie changes her clothes and goes with Sina, Dexio, and Samson Oak to meet Lusamine. The Zygarde Cells and Core enter the wormhole and go into the Reassembly Unit to become their Complete Forme. Lusamine is defeated by Necrozma. Moon tries capturing Nihilego again, but is blinded by a bright light, causing her to misfire. Sun is knocked into the wormhole, sending him falling towards Mount Lanakila.

PASS32	Hop, Marnie, and Bede meet Peony and Peonia. Casey and Marvin find Henry.
PASS33	Marnie wins a battle against Peony and she, Hop, and Bede join him in investigating the legends of the Crown Tundra. Casey and Henry collect sap for a poison antidote and send it to Oleana.
PASS34	Twiggy evolves into Rillaboom. Bit evolves into Cinderace. Sniffler evolves into Inteleon.
PASS35	Oleana gives the antidote to Leon and the gym leaders, curing them from Eternatus's poison. Henry tries to enter the Tower of Darkness with Kubfu, but fails. Kubfu tries to investigate the tower by itself, and is spotted by an unseen Pokémon.
PASS36	Kubfu is defeated by the unseen Pokémon. Henry and Kubfu challenge the Tower of Waters. Hop, Marnie, and Bede capture the legendary giants and investigate the Split-Decision Ruins. Hop, Marnie, and Bede encounter the legendary birds at Dyna Tree Hill.
PASS37	Henry and Kubfu pass the Tower of Waters and Kubfu evolves into Rapid Strike Style Urshifu. Henry is given Urshifu from Mustard. Hop rides Moltres to the Isle of Armor and encounters Henry and Casey. Moltres is revealed to have found the Rusted Shield. Moltres carries Henry and the Rusted Shield to the Crown Tundra. Henry finds Bede and they head back to Freezington.
PASS38	Marine loses sight of Zapdos and is saved by Cara Liss. Henry, Bede, and Peonia agree to help Calyrex regain their powers. Calyrex summons Spectrier.
PASS39	Calyrex gains back some of their power. The Darkest Day returns. Henry makes the Reins of Unity and gives it to Calyrex.
PASS40	Leon and the Galar gym leaders prepare to stop Eternatus and protect Galar. Calyrex turns into its Shadow Rider form. Calyrex finds the Rusted Sword and gives it to Henry.
PASS41	Henry, Casey, Marvin, Hop, Bede, and Marnie head back to Galar and prepare to fight Eternatus. Henry returns the Rusted Sword and Shield to Zacian and Zamazenta, who turn into their Crowned forms. Marvin trades Sniffler to Hop. Twiggy, Bit, and Sniffler are revealed to be able to Gigantamax.
PASS42	Henry names his Urshifu Āman. Zacian and Zamazenta attack Eternatus.
PASS43	Zacian and Zamazenta defeat Eternatus. The Darkest Day ends. Casey and Oleana plan to find a way to coexist with Eternatus. Hop trades Sniffler back to Marvin. Months later, Hop and Marnie compete in the semi-finals of the Gym Challenge. Henry is revealed to have resigned from the Gym Challenge and is heading to another region to look for a Tinkatink.
