The Thunderstorm Theme Deck is a special deck included in the Thunderstorm Gift Box of the Pokémon Trading Card Game. It predominantly focuses on and type Pokémon and contains the following cards:

• The Zapdos included in this deck uses the "cosmo" holographic design implemented in Base Set 2, making it different from its Fossil counterpart, which uses the old "starry" design.

Despite all Pokémon and cards listed as coming from the Base Set, all Base Set-based cards in this deck are from Base Set 2. Like other Theme Decks, Thunderstorm also includes a rulebook, damage counters and a card list. As it part of a larger gift box, several other items also accompany it, including a metal Pikachu coin, a play mat, three booster packs, a felt deck bag, a deck tuning tip sheet and a CD-ROM.
