The Thunder Stone (Japanese: かみなりのいし Lightning Stone), formatted Thunderstone prior to Generation VI, is a type of Evolution stone introduced in Generation I.

In Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team and Blue Rescue Team, if the player offers a Thunderstone from the Team Toolbox when attempting to evolve in Luminous Cave, Pikachu and Eevee can be evolved into Raichu and Jolteon, respectively. It costs 3000 Poké and can be sold for 1 Poké.
In Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time, Explorers of Darkness, and Explorers of Sky, if the player offers a Thunderstone at Luminous Spring, Pikachu and Eevee can be evolved into Raichu and Jolteon, respectively. It costs 1000 Poké and can be sold for 1 Poké.
