This fork lead to another Pokémon-centered wiki being formed. Other users stayed on the Fandom-hosted wiki, and with the new wiki, users had a choice to either stay on the Fandom-hosted wiki or move to the Marriland Wiki, however some of the administrators were still editing on both wikis until its formal split.


After a bit of discussion, Pokémon Wiki officially forked from Wikia to create a new wiki under [[Marriland Wiki|Marriland]] servers. This fork lead to another Pokémon-centered wiki being formed. With the new wiki, users decided to either stay or move, while some of the administrators are editing both wikis for the time being.
