(Japanese: テンイむら Ten'i Village) is an anime-exclusive location in Sinnoh. It was featured in the movie Giratina and the Sky Warrior. The village lies beside a lake, near the base of the glacier. Regigigas's temple is also located nearby. When Zero smashed the ice pillars in the Reverse World, the glacier became unstable, causing it to slide down towards the village. However, with the help of Regigigas and several Mamoswine, the glacier was stopped and the village was saved from the impending disaster.
Name origin
Depending on the kanji, Ten'i can mean moving (転移), transposition (転位), imperial throne (天位), imperial authority (天威), divine will / providence (天意), or natural (天為).
Trivia
- The name of the village was never revealed in the movie. However, the movie Regigigas distributed in Japanese events revealed its OT to be テンイむら (Ten'i Village), giving the village its name.
