This template either needs serious updating to match the template used by Jubilife City for example or I have no idea what parameters it can take! On Fuego Ironworks, somebody had a map information section separate of this infobox template when the template used in Jubilife City has it right in the infobox. Revision as of 23:15, 4 April 2012

A question: Should we add "Tower" to the list of types, and make it grey or something? After all, the radio towers and Brass/Tin Towers aren't really green... Tom Temprotran 22:46, 29 August 2006 (UTC)

I've been using "road" for the type for the towers (see Pokémon Tower). It has a grey hue to it, so it works pretty well. If all else fails, we can make a "building" type. --TMF T - C 23:18, 29 August 2006 (UTC)

Maps of area?

Should we include the map of where exactly the location is, like we have for the other things (routes and cities)? I'd probably have it like I do Three Isle Path, with the blinking dot, like how these things are in the Pokédex. Tom Temprotran 08:55, 26 January 2007 (UTC)

Yeah, that'd be a good addition to the articles. --TMF Let's Go Mets - Stats 13:49, 26 January 2007 (UTC)
Okay, then... I'll be making those maps up gradually... Tom Temprotran 07:43, 27 January 2007 (UTC)

Edit request

Replace {image} with {noimage.png}; that will eliminate the broken wiki code atop the infoboxes on articles that have no image specified. --TMF Let's Go Mets - Stats 18:45, 8 August 2008 (UTC)

Never mind that; the image will render only as a 290x290px blank square. However, it appears that ParserFunctions has finally been enabled here after looking at another infobox, so replace {image} with {{#if:{}||}} instead. --TMF Let's Go Mets - Stats 08:18, 26 August 2008 (UTC)

I'm assuming you're talking about using the sign... While I personally don't have a problem with this, and could envisage the sign underneath the (sometimes AWOL) map of Sinnoh, TTE said words to the effect that this template is overused at best. — THE TROM — 20:05, 4 June 2009 (UTC)

Map Description?

With HeartGold and SoulSilver released, many areas now have a in-game map description. Should we add it to this template and some other, like the route and city templates? Tyagohexagon 13:37, 8 April 2010 (UTC)

it comes with the new templates --13:54, 8 April 2010 (UTC)
Sorry about reviving this conversation, but many things have been changed since 2010 and this part has yet to be implemented... anyone want to add the parser for the in-game map description like the Town infobox template? ht14 23:15, 4 April 2012 (UTC)

This Template Needs Serious Updating

This template either needs serious updating to match the template used by Jubilife City for example or I have no idea what parameters it can take! On Fuego Ironworks, somebody had a map information section separate of this infobox template when the template used in Jubilife City has it right in the infobox. I'm just looking for a little consistency is all. --Wildgoosespeeder 05:25, 27 January 2012 (UTC)

TTE was working on one, but of course, he's been permabanned. If you bug Werdnae or another templater, he could finish it off so we can put it in use. --SnorlaxMonster 06:31, 10 February 2012 (UTC)
The template looks fine apart from its use of CSS column wrapping code (required HMs/TMs/items). Which makes it break in Chrome. I'd rather get that sorted out before putting the template into use. If you've got a good idea on how to make it work without the code, let me know here. Werdnae (talk) 07:57, 10 February 2012 (UTC)

Renders using the latest versions of the two browsers: Chrome and Firefox. Something is not right. --Wildgoosespeeder 19:43, 27 February 2012 (UTC)
It's not all the time that it happens, and it may depend on a number of things, including version of the browser.
