Teleport (Japanese: テレポート Teleport) is a non-damaging Psychic-type move introduced in Generation I. It was TM30 in Generation I.

Effect

In battle

Teleport can be used to flee wild Pokémon battles. In Trainer battles, Teleport will always fail. Teleport will also fail if the user is under the effect of a move such as Wrap or Whirlpool, or if an opponent has the Shadow Tag or Arena Trap Ability.

Outside of battle

Teleport warps the player to the last healing spot visited (a Pokémon Center, the player's home, etc.). Teleport can only be used outside—it has the same restrictions as Fly.
