::Is this really something that belongs on this page? Doesn't this apply to other moves as well? For example, if Thunder hits its 30% chance of paralysis against a Pokémon with Color Change, won't the paralysis take effect before the type change there as well? If that's the case, I feel that it's a detail that should just go on the Color Change page and not here, since it's not unique to this move. -- [[User:Kianglo|KiANGLO]] [[User talk:Kianglo|TALK]] 07:22, 4 June 2016 (UTC)

Paralysis before Colour Change?

The article for Inferno notes that Inferno will cause a burn before Colour Change takes effect. From Generation VI onwards Electric-type Pokémon are now immune to paralysis - do we know if Zap Cannon causes paralysis before Colour Change changes the opponent's type to Electric? --Poppy :3 15:16, 22 August 2014 (UTC)

Color Change activates after a status condition is inflicted according to the Ability's page. Since Inferno's page mentions burns prior to Ability activation, I don't see the harm of it being mentioned in Zap Cannon's page as well. Berrenta (talk) 16:47, 22 August 2014 (UTC)
