Actually he does, appearing in something requires physical presence. If I talk about someone to you does that mean they are present for the conversation? When Mairin mentioned Ash to Alain in the Mega Evolution Special I does that count as an Ash appearance? It mentioned the fight with the mega rayquaza in the Mega Evoltution Special II, we see many references of the games in the anime, but the oppositte doesn´t happens, it was already proved that game events happen in the anime such as Psyduck´s Block in the Sinnoh saga, i don´t see why this is different. The Psyduck roadblock was a thing that actually happen in the games that was not referenced or mentioned in both medium. Also, Alain wasn't even directly mentioned by Steven, a young man with a black Charizard could be anyone.--ForceFire 05:23, 23 August 2016 (UTC)
