Probopass

Is it possible that Sturdy has changed so that recovery items that take a Pokemon back up to full do not allow Sturdy to activate again? (In other words, is it possible that now Sturdy only activates if the first hit a Pokemon takes would KO it?) Can someone do some research on this? My two cents: Every time I fight Wikstrom's Probopass, he Full Restores it three times because of Sturdy, each time. The only way to avoid it is to give it minimal damage first. Because the cited Pokemon that attacked it is Tyrantrum, perhaps the original poster had laid out Stealth Rock on a prior Pokemon before Probopass came out. --The Great Butler (talk) 23:11, 4 November 2013 (UTC)

Despite there not being much conclusive evidence (as stated above), I think that the quote does count as a Shakespeare reference (as much as I've loathed seeing his name lately... XD). The prose-based dialogue of Wikstrom can allude to William Shakespeare's presumed style of speech and writing, and I hardly ever see the phrase "shakes spears" used in a normal context unless the reference is specifically oriented towards William Shakespeare in some way. As for where to put the trivia point, I don't see why it can't be on both Wikstrom's article and the List of references to popular culture in Pokémon (the latter of which seems unfortunately incomplete and rarely linked to); the statement does stem from one of Wikstrom's own quotes, anyway. As for the apparent omission of the Dragon Ball Z "over 9000" meme mention on the Psychic Trainer class's article, it could be that someone just never got around to it.
