Fog?

What's it do there? If no one answers, I'll soon have a Roserade, so I could check... TTEchidna 05:50, 24 October 2007 (UTC)

I think it just doubles the power of Weather Ball, keeping it a normal move. I used it on a Kecleon in the fog, and it didn't change type (either normal or typeless). ---- Glitch and Official Pokémon. There is no real difference between the two. In my opinion, the two should be considered equal!-- quoted by Missingno. Master 13:33, 12 January 2008 (UTC)

Water?!

According to the top of the move page and the in-game description, Weather Ball is a Normal type attack. But it is classed Water type in the column on the right, and on Castform/Roserade pages. Is there something I'm not getting? It also states that the power is 100. Technically, the base power is 50. The boosted power is simply an added effect with specific conditions, much like Revenge or Pursuit. As I'm a total Wiki newbie, I'll let someone else edit the pages.... :-P Dargad 01:57, 2 May 2009 (UTC)

It changes during times, so when you refresh the page, it becomes a different type.--FF(editstalk) 02:02, 2 May 2009 (UTC)
Actually, this one changes depending on the season. Come back in a few months! — THE TROM — 04:51, 2 May 2009 (UTC)

STAB

When Castform changes type because of the weather, does this mean that Weather Ball will have STAB? Ggled 21:26, 10 June 2009 (UTC)

Yep. The two will always be the same time, and hence have STAB. — THE TROM — 22:18, 10 June 2009 (UTC)
Wrong. Sandstorm. ht14 22:45, 10 June 2009 (UTC)
