Based on a chicken? japanese name comes from 'chicken'?  Seems to me to be based on a Chick, a baby chicken.  Because it actually looks like that, and nothing like a chicken.  I could almost see {{p|Togekiss}} based on a chicken though.  But Togetic seems a lot more chick like.  And since none of it's [[pokedex]] entries reference chickens, what's the justification for being based on a chicken? 001Bulbasaur RG.png Due to special coding in place in the article, the artwork featured on this article will change every year on November 21 and October 15 in celebration of the releases of Gold and Silver in Japan, and Gold and Silver in the United States. This will only affect the artwork shown in the infobox. This changes every year, so when the time comes, here to return to the page and change the display.

As in Chicken

Based on a chicken? japanese name comes from 'chicken'? Seems to me to be based on a Chick, a baby chicken. Because it actually looks like that, and nothing like a chicken. I could almost see Togekiss based on a chicken though. But Togetic seems a lot more chick like. And since none of it's pokedex entries reference chickens, what's the justification for being based on a chicken? [[Derian]] 19:51, 6 October 2009 (UTC)

Couldn't it just be "chick" in general? "Chick" is the general term for a baby bird. Besides, Togekiss is a dove.—Loveはドコ? (talk contribs) 20:19, 6 October 2009 (UTC)
