Plus, I have bought the DVD of Mewtwo Strikes Back and was disappointed to find that it was not on there. There is a section on the DVD is called the The Story of Mewtwo's Origin but it's not the anime adaptation. It's just the beginning of the movie where the explorers find Mew's fossil, which is in the movie anyyway. --'''[[User:InuMimi|いぬ]][[User talk:InuMimi|みみ]]''' 17:01, 3 December 2010 (UTC)

==Translation of Birth of Mewtwo==
I want to help completing this page and I've found a translation of the CD drama. It is, however, not my own translation, but found on a site. I think the site is inactive, and perhaps it's even down, but I will try to find it again. Nonetheless, I have saved all its information. It contains a complete translation of the CD drama and pictures and discussions, information I have seen nowhere else, but that appears to be trusted. If no one has access to the CD drama or can translate and scan pictures, maybe the information can be of help. I don't post it here, since I'm not sure I have the author's permission. If anyone is interested to read it however, I can send it. I also have what appears to be a manuscript (or a translation of it) of Mewtwo Strikes Back. Since information about the first Pokemon movie and the drama seems scarce, I wish that at least Bulbapedia, which is a large Pokemon wiki, have complete info on this.

Should there be separate pages for this in the anime context and the CD context? It's the same basic story for both I think. TTEchidna 18:54, 8 March 2009 (UTC)

I say no. You can just have one page with different sections. --Theryguy512 18:58, 8 March 2009 (UTC)

It isn't in English, is it?Angel10698 19:05, 16 August 2010 (UTC)

ok, for those who read this question and didn't know the answer - yes but it is anime not a CD. Angel10698 03:44, 28 October 2010 (UTC)

Well, it's both a CD and then an anime adaptation. The anime version is available in English, the CD is not. --ZestyCactus 04:06, 28 October 2010 (UTC)

should this be added?

Do u think it should be added how long the CD is?- unsigned comment from Angel10698 (talkcontribs)

"Release date: 1998" - sure with that? As of ja.wp (1), ja.wp (2) & amazon.co.jp it was "1999年2月12日" = 12. February 1999. --Bernd 13:56, 16 April 2011 (UTC)

Translation of Birth of Mewtwo

I think it would be a good idea to put a Japanese transcript and English translation of the CD, like the way we set up songs. The pictures would be useful too. --SnorlaxMonster 14:29, 7 June 2012 (UTC)
