Tangrowth can learn Leaf Storm through Shiftry as well. Shiftry learns it at level 49 and can then breed it onto Tangela.- unsigned comment from Link6491 (talkcontribs)

A way to get Tangrowth at a low level

It's possible to get a Tangrowth at level 2, right? All you need to do is hatch a Tangela, teach it Ancient Power, and feed it a Rare Candy or level it up and you have a level 2 Tangrowth. Should this be listed in the Trivia section or something? - unsigned comment from Nidolord500 (talkcontribs) 23:17, January 27, 2009

No, this is a well known way to get Pokemon actually. Same way you can evolve Eevee into Leafeon and Glaceon really. MK 05:24, 28 January 2009 (UTC)
Any location, happiness, or move-evolving Pokémon can be gotten at level 2 (except Sudowoodo and Mr. Mime, since they have the incense prevos and Golbat because Zubat doesn't evolve until 22). You don't even need to teach it anything, just breed two a Tangela/Tangrowth with AncientPower with any Pokémon in its egg group with the move, and there you go. If you use Pknm Ranch, Haley has a Tamgela that she gives that has AnceintPower and is at level 1 (I wanted to let you know if you didn't yet lol).--☆Coolピカチュウ! 05:53, 30 January 2009 (UTC)
