Move? (along with Ingo)

Can we move Nobori to Ingo and Kudari to Emmet? Pocketfanmk 01:38, 22 February 2011 (UTC)

It is already moved... Pokabu82 01:41, 22 February 2011 (UTC)
I mean move Nobori to Ingo (rather than Emmet) and Kudari to Emmet (rather than Ingo). The names are switched. Pocketfanmk 01:47, 22 February 2011 (UTC)
Oops... My bad! Pokabu82 01:50, 22 February 2011 (UTC)
And your source for this name mistake is? - Kogoro | Talk to me - 02:53, 22 February 2011 (UTC)
Well according to the picture of filb.de, if you follow past double battles in Pokemon, Emmet is the one on the left (Kudari) and Ingo is the one on the right (Nobori). I've checked a video on youtube and it said "Subway Master Kudari and Subway Master Nobori..." in that order. Also, it would fit the names better: "Kudari" = "out-bound line" = "Emmet"; "Nobori" = "in-bound line" = "Ingo". 3 things that I found that pointed to me which one was which. Who did all that mess?

Who is responsible for all that mess? Nobori is the one in black. It was correct, why was it changed? When they participate in the double battle, Kudari (white) is on the right (first listed) and Nobori (black) is on the left (listed second). Compare this to this English screenshot and you've got it clear.

So,

  • white one = Kudari = Emmet
  • black one = Nobori = Ingo

Was it really so hard? Indeed, they mixed their English names on ONM. But why did we change their Japanese names too?

I want all this mess cleared right now. --Maxim 13:20, 22 February 2011 (UTC)

This has all happened because whoever moved the battle sprites back on the Archives seems to have mixed them up. If those sprites were corrected, the pages would be pretty much the same as they were before the ONM article was released. Blazios 13:49, 22 February 2011 (UTC)

It's Ingo. From the official Black and White site:

You'll face one or both of the Subway Bosses on your 21st battle! If you're taking the Single Train, you'll face Ingo, a strong Trainer dressed in brown and black. --The Great Butler 23:03, 22 February 2011 (UTC)

Italian names problem

This one is problematic. The Italian version of official BW website has conflicting informations. The screen shows their Italian names to be Her & Hin, while all descriptions mention them as Andy & Torn. So, there are two possibilities - the screen is from some beta version and Her/Hin are beta names or that the descriptions are simply mistaken (I hope not, Hin & Her are incredibly stupid names and they're the same as German). I'm hiding their Italian names for now, we'll check it when the final version is released. --Maxim 13:25, 23 February 2011 (UTC)

Klinklang's Ability

It was me the one who wrote Ingo's Klinklang's ability as Plus. Well, it happens that it's Minus sometimes, too. What to do in the infobox? Unfortunately, writing "Plus or Minus" will generate a link to an ability article called "Plus or Minus". --Johans 07:29, 7 September 2011 (UTC)

If it's true that Klinklang can have either of its abilities, then it's possible that all of the Pokémon can have either ability, which really needs to be checked. How did you find the ability out, anyway? Trace? - Blazios talk 10:00, 7 September 2011 (UTC)

Multi Battle order

Are their Pokémon in Multi Battles supposed to be in the same order each time? Because after beating them for the first time on the 21st battle, Emmett sent out Galvantula first. (Whereas here, it says Durant goes first.) --AndyPKMN (talk) 17:48, 11 November 2011 (UTC)

It's either random, or it's determined based on your Pokémon, but it's most definitely not set. - Blazios talk 17:56, 11 November 2011 (UTC)

Is this trivia useful?

I'm planning on adding "The subway bosses seem to have a special bond towards Cilan in the anime." Can I add it?

Emmet said "Isn't? Our favorite Metro Connoiseur" that implies Emmet and Ingo see Cilan as a little brother. - unsigned comment from Grabbergirl (talkcontribs)
