:::: It's not really complicated. The sound is the http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Voiceless_bilabial_fricative , also written as [ɸ] or [pʰ]. It's an F consonant made by air blown through tight lips (like when saying "phew") instead of teeth and lip contact. It sounds much more like F than H. Thanks for the clarification, SM. I wish we could implement this alongside the pronunciation guide we discussed. --[[User:IWannaBeTheVeryBest|IWannaBeTheVeryBest]] ([[User talk:IWannaBeTheVeryBest|talk]]) 09:18, 15 February 2013 (UTC)

== Swoobat's Supersonic ==
Must we really assume that the move Swoobat used to confuse is Supersonic? I mean there are a plenty of moves that can cause confusion. It could very well be any of those (Though Swoobat can know only Supersonic and Confusion, but hey 'what about anime move errors?'). Also, Skyla was just fantasizing on a battle and can make a move's animation appear as she wants, so even if the move appears similar to Supersonic, Confusion is another option which must not be ruled over. Name Romanization?

Rather than Fuuro, wouldn't it make more sense if it was Flow? Or Flo? I mean, if other names like Dento are changed to Dent, why not Fuuro to something like Flow? Loveon 04:58, 17 October 2010 (UTC)

Well Dent was kind of obvious with Pod and Corn, but we really don't know about Fuuro without anything official. And I don't think Flow would work, especially since it's the U that's lengthened. ~ solaris 05:06, 17 October 2010 (UTC)
And in the word "flow", the u is also long, so fuuro could also be pronounced "Flow", which makes alot of sense. Mikkim 06:19, 20 October 2010 (UTC)
Dent is from "dent corn", which is an English name. Fuuro is from 風露草 fuurosou (germanium), which is a Japanese name. Unless there's an official romanization, such as Denji to Denzi (Volkner), the name "Fuuro" stays. 神奇超龍 06:37, 20 October 2010 (UTC)
Seems like her real romanized name's Hurro. [1] --- Misaki

Name Origin

I noticed this the first time I saw her name: It is based off of the skylark, a type of bird? I never even thought about the sky in the first place... ----Sparen (talk) 00:55, 4 March 2011 (UTC)

Yeah, I think it's possible. I honestly didn't see that coming. I already added it. --神智の超龍對話 08:14, 4 March 2011 (UTC)

Homage?

Skyla bears a little more than a passing resemblance to Birdy the Mighty. There's the type affiliation and color scheme matches up too closely to be a coincidence... Hitmaker 20:03, 12 March 2011 (UTC)

Anime

She's appearing in BW 067: 7nOcH.jpg

Is there any proof it's BW067 and not a later episode? Like a date? Jo the Marten ಠ_ಠ 04:37, 23 January 2012 (UTC)

Who took off Confusion?

I swore yesterday I saw Swoobat using Confusion, plus it said it knew Confusion up until today!Chowolun 14:03, 25 February 2012 (UTC) User:Lucario985

I removed it because it didn't use Confusion nor it was said to know it.--Den Zen 14:29, 25 February 2012 (UTC)

Nicknames

When Skyla first brought out her three pokemon, she called them each something, now I don't remember what they were but should they be included??RBK 02:57, 12 March 2012 (UTC)

Schuyler soft redirect

I know no one's going to confuse Schuyler with Skyla, but still, do you think it needs to be mentioned as a soft redirect?--ForceFire 09:41, 20 March 2012 (UTC)

Don't fix what isn't broken. --Maxim 12:56, 20 March 2012 (UTC)

Trivia-worthy?

Is it trivia-worthy that none of her Pokémon from the anime were shown to know TM62 (Acrobatics), which is the TM she gives away in the games? Just thought I'd ask. --ジェダイナイトディーティーブイ 00:11, 26 April 2012 (UTC)

I would say no, because the general rule is that games =/= anime. --Pokemaster97 00:15, 26 April 2012 (UTC)
Good thing I asked first then. I always forget that rule! Thanks Pokemaster!--ジェダイナイトディーティーブイ 00:25, 26 April 2012 (UTC)

That must be a misprint, because her Japanese name is フウロ. フ being fu, ウ being u, and ロ being ro. The Japanese characters are the same on that chain. --IWannaBeTheVeryBest (talk) 02:27, 15 February 2013 (UTC)

Swoobat's Supersonic
