::I would have to say that I think the height and weight of a Pokémon mentioned in the Pokédex is mostly an average, like saying humans have an average height while we all have different ones. We know Pokémon are born small and grow larger, not just when they evolve. Aside from the obvious example of Kangaskhan, look at Gary's Krabby. When Ash caught his Krabby (I remember as this was the first Pokémon Ash caught that was instantly sent to Prof. Oak), it was average Krabby size.
