Pokemon the Series: XY Season 2
So, as can be clearly seen in the new opening, the name of the series appears to not be changing for the second season like it has in the past (there's not even a mention of the 2nd season in the opening, it literally says Pokemon the Series: XY). That being said, are we going to create a different page for the second season or maybe make a new section on this page? (I can't see them changing it for the 3rd season or any seasons past that) --TheMaskedMeowth (talk) 14:58, 7 February 2015 (UTC)
- It is precisely why it was handled as tentative (only one of CN's pages is using it). The name for the 2nd season is the same as the first one. - Just like TheMaskedMeowth has mentioned, there is no "Season 2" in the official name. We could probably approach it just like when there are two anime characters with the same name. So season 17 will be "Pokémon the Series: XY (Season 17)" and season 18 will be "Pokémon the Series: XY (Season 18)". -- Vhayes1992 23:40, 10 February 2015 (UTC)

- Not really, because Season 17 and Season 18 just aren't named. Season 18 opening

In other languages
In Latin America it's called "La Temporada Pokémon: XY" (The Pokémon Season: XY) instead of "Pokémon La Serie: XY". Since the staff is still taking their sweet time to figure out how to handle this, I can't edit it myself. --Gabo 2oo (talk) 21:02, 2 March 2015 (UTC)
